I loved my stay here at cottage 35 so very much. The cottage is beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. The location was just perfect for me. I stayed for 10 days and seriously didn’tWant to leave! I wouldn’t hesitate to book here again for my next visit to Cashiers.

I am not one to leave negative feedback, however, if I ever feel that feedback will help others when making a financial decision I will do so. For my family and I, this was not an ideal rental. Although located in a very convenient location and a very nicely decorated cottage, it is very tiny for four people. Especially when we only had one shower for the first few days of our trip as the master shower did not get hot water. Also, we did not have working fireplace for the first couple of days. When I asked the manager about both of these problems, it was almost as though she doubted me and told me that she would check with the prior guests to see if it worked for them. After several messages back-and-forth and explaining to her that my husband is a contractor did she finally say that she would come to check it out for herself. Most of all, however, I take cleanliness very seriously. Although the cottage itself seemed clean aside from stains on the rugs, I was very concerned after watching how the housekeeper changed the bed, linens, and towels between stays. She utilizes the stackable washer and dryer in the unit, which no matter what setting does a very short cycle. Also hot water seems to run out very quickly, so I’m not sure if the sheets and towels are actually getting cleaned in hot water & a thorough cycle each time. I do not like to create negativity however I do believe in fair observation. I heavily rely on reviews when booking.

The cottage was stunning! It was beautifully decorated and felt so cozy. There was a lot of attention to detail. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. Everything was tucked away and kept tidy. The bedsheets were satiny soft and the down comforter kept us warm and comfortable throughout the night. The beautiful windows throughout the cottage allowed us to enjoy the beauty of the fall leaves and feel the sun streaming in during the daytime. The cottage is located right near Cashier’s main street allowing us to walk to nearby shops and the farmers market, which is a must see! We were able to take great hikes and see waterfalls and visit the Highlands nearby. We felt like we were staying at the perfect getaway for our long weekend.Our host was very responsive and very kind! We would recommend staying here and would love to come back at another time to explore more of the area and relax in the beautiful cottage!

The house was decorated beautifully and very clean. The only drawback was the traffic noise. I was expecting to be able to relax on the nice porch. The house sits right off a major highway so the traffic noise was really loud. If you prefer the convenience of being close to town you will give up peaceful outdoor time.

Cashiers Cottage is a clean, comfortable and well-appointed resting place in the heart of town. It was the perfect spot for my husband and I to enjoy the area a few days before picking up our daughters from an area overnight camp, and it was spacious enough to accommodate 4 of us for the two nights we were all together there. The location could not be better to explore cashiers, sapphire or the highlands in NC. It is conveniently located off of 107 right by the crossroads and walkable to the Green, many shops and Cashiers Farmers Market. The cottage itself has lovely and modern appliances and bathrooms with very comfortable beds. It has plenty of space for 2-4 people in an efficient, easy to keep layout. We would definitely recommend this cottage and look to rebook on a future visit.

Cozy and comfortable

My husband and I were joined by our adult son for the weekend. Our goal was to get away to a beautiful area, do some hiking, see some waterfalls and spend time with our son. This was the perfect spot. It was clean and comfortable. There was a book at the cottage describing the hikes, waterfalls and other scenic places in the area and that was most helpful. The porch with rocking chairs was the perfect place to relax after a day of hiking. Checking in was difficult, since I had not been sent the code for entry to the cottages. We were lucky to catch the real estate lady down the hill as she was closing up. She knew the owner, called her and got the code for us.

So very clean, very nicely but simply decorated. Bed was VERY comfortable. Plenty of towels. Kitchen had all the basic needs. And owner was so kind to allow a late check out. We will be back.

Great House!

My husband and I were celebrating our 20th Anniversary and this place was super clean and decorated very nicely. A comfortable bed and a nice shower is always needed and this place met that need. We thoroughly enjoyed the living area and fireplace. It was such a beautiful set up. I highly recommend!

Great Mountain Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage in Cashiers. The location was ideal for exploring the area, and the property was both comfortable and well-equipped. The property manager was responsive and made sure everything went smoothly, which made our experience even more enjoyable.

Cute and Comfortable

My husband and I enjoyed our time in Laura’s cottage. It was in a perfect location to explore Cashiers and Highlands. The cottage had very comfortable furniture/beds and it was very clean. The kitchen was well stocked and Laura and Mark were great hosts. We will definitely choose this cottage again when we return to Cashiers.
