The pkace was very warm and compact .It had everything we needed .It was in a very quiet location with easy walks to both resorts .

Fantastic apartment that is larger than it looks in the photos. Access to the slopes is good, with a 5 min walk to the bus in the morining and ski back to the front door when finished. The views out over the lake and surrounding mountains are amazing. Would highly recommend!

Magnificent Easter Skiing

Lovely Holiday, Property as described, easy access to the apartment, responsive owners provided help and information as required. Short walk to the navette each morning to get to the slopes.

Superb stay

A great apartment and wonderful hosts. The building itself is very smart with great communal areas, great ski locker, easy access to ski. Great balcony around the apartment. The beds at the very top are best suited to kids or teenagers. Very easy check-in and out, with very helpful and responsive host. Thank you!

Great location

Really good spot, apartment is in a chalet made up of 4 or 5 apartments. There are 2 other chalets of similar configuration in the cluster. Perched on the edge of the lake. We loved the ease of walking across the frozen lake into Le Lac and walking to Val Claret for pasties. This one is top floor with very nice views towards Val Claret. Reasonable size with a wrap around balcony which must be lovely in the summer. Discovered that we could ski all the way home too 3rd day in. Take a right after after Bollin on the slopes. I would say the description of luxury is misleading as the interior is a little tired and in some parts feels like it needs an upgrade. But overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

The ad mentions a " chaleureux " ( = warm ) apartment . It is confortable ( 3 stars ) but not luxurious . I sent you by email , with the access codes , the instructions in ENGLISH to return on skis via the Bollin , with a MAP . So I am very surprised : if you had read it , you would have skied home the 1st day . We are nevertheless happy that you have a pleasant stay .

Appartement agréable et calme

Nous avons passés un très bon séjour dans l’appartement de Brigitte et Jean François. Le lieu est très calme, confortable et bien situé. Navette gratuite pour se rendre sur les pistes et retour à ski possible. La grande terrasse en plein soleil est très agréable. Contacte très facile avec les propriétaires, qui nous ont donné toutes les infos nécessaires pour notre séjour et qui nous ont gentiment laissé partir plus tard que prévu lors de notre départ. Seules petites choses: les poêles de la cuisine sont usées et le four un peu bruyant. Nous recommandons cette appartement !

Merci de vos appréciations. La beauté du site et le calme ( rare à Tignes) justifient les 300m à faire à pieds pour rejoindre la navette . Ce qui peut être un problème avec de jeunes enfants. Par contre, nous rentrons vraiment skis aux pieds jusqu'à l'entrée du chalet .

Juste parfait

Nous avons séjourné au chalet du golf 1 durant la première semaine d'avril. Ce fut une excellente surprise. Un très belle appartement avec de l'espace (trois couples). Une terrasse ensoleillée toute la journée. Une vue sur la montagne ( on aperçoit les sommets de la station ). Possibilité de traverser le lac ( en hiver ) pour aller chercher les bulles ou de monter sur Val Claret. L'endroit était très propre en arrivant mais la cerise sur le gâteau, des propriétaires parfaits. Sympathiques, disponibles, accueillants,... des petites mots pour nous informer de la vie en station ! C'était de super vacances ! Un endroit a réserver les yeux fermés !!!

Super séjour à Tignes!

Superbe appartement situé dans un chalet sur le golf de Tignes. Vue magnifique sur les montagnes et le lac. L'appartement est chaleureux et cosy. Nous y étions très à l'aise avec nos 4 enfants, dont 3 ados. Cuisine très bien équipée, appartement très fonctionnel. Les enfants avaient leur propre douche dans la grande chambre qui se situe à l'étage. Bien situé, il est à quelques pas du centre de Tignes le lac. Nous avons passé un super séjour et nous y reviendrons volontiers. Nous n'avons pas pu voir les propriétaires mais nous avons échangé plusieurs messages. Ils sont sympathiques et restent disponibles en cas de besoin. Nous conseillons vivement cette location.

Excellent location in Tignes with a very friendly and helpful host

Great communication with Brigitte the property owner and she made us feel very welcome and assisted where required. Apartment is walking distance to Tignes Le Lac and Val Claret so could t ask for better. Plus a great bus service at the end of the road.

The ideal spot for summer in Tignes!

My two kids, wife and I were lucky enough to spend three weeks in the chalet in July/August. The chalet is in a perfect spot with views to the lake from one side, and fantastic views to the mountains above Val Claret to the other. The main part of the balcony faces South and many an afternoon were spent basking in the sunshine taking a well-earned rest from the days' activities. A 5 minute stroll to the shops and restaurants of Val Claret and 10-15 minutes walk round the lake to the main part of Tignes. The most amazing thing about our stay was that we only used the van 3 times over the 3 weeks, and only when heading round to Val d'Isère. Everything is so close that it wasn't necessary to use it getting around Tignes. All 4 of us had mountain bikes and made use of the fantastic trails (all with lifts to take you to the summit) and even our youngest (6 y/o) was whizzing down the green runs in Tignes ("Smoothie" and "Easyride") and Val d'Isère ("Popeye"). The 9 y/o was smashing the blue runs (which were quite tricky compared to blues in other spots we've ridden). The grown-ups' favourite runs were the all-mountain trails, especially the ones down to Val d'Isère. But be warned, they are quite remote (and technical/steep)! The red then black run under the main Tignes bubble was always a great way to finish a day. The "My Tignes" pass which comes free with the accommodation provides free access to all of the lifts in the summer along with 2 other activities each day so there was always lots to do with the kids on the lake, trampolines and in the pool when not on the mountains. The only potential downside was that we thought we might be able to get straight to the lake across the field but you need to go back round the road to the main path. This is actually for the best as it keeps the area around the chalet much quieter with nobody passing through. The chalet itself was a perfect fit and we quickly felt completely at home. The photos don't really do it justice but I can imagine it is a tricky place to photo! It had everything we needed. The owners were fantastic with their communication and even fitted a pulley to allow us to winch our bikes onto and off of the balcony which worked really well.

Fantastic Apartment

The apartment is fantastic and very spacious. Our party was two adults and three children and we had ample space. The apartment is between Le Lac and Val Claret and is quick and easy to get to both on the free ski bus. The skiing in Tignes and Val d'isere is second to none. Sitting on the balcony you are rewarded with beautiful views of the Mountains. The owners were very good at responding to any questions that we had. If I had to say anything negative, it would have to be that there was no WiFi. Then again that wasn't such a bad thing as the children had to play games and talk to each other, rather than playing on electronics all the time. We would absolutely love to return some day and would like to say a big thank you to the HAUPT family for making our stay everything we could have wished for. Stefan, Richard, Jesse, Liam and Riley.
