Beautiful property. House was wonderful and well stocked and clean. Owner very responsive to questions. Kayaks, canoe, paddle boards were great. Nice calm cove. Saw a Bald Eagle and several loons from the dock and while paddling around. Very close to local amenities. Loved it.

Wonderful lake vacation

The house was beautiful as were the surroundings. Hiking, swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking, and exploring islands on the canoe were amazing! Such a special place. The hosts are very welcoming and hospitable. Great communication.

An amazing lakefront stay with family

Easily one of our best short term rentals, and the kindest homeowners. The house is exactly as pictured, with plenty of room for our multigenerational family vacation, with folks ranging from 4 to 65. Truly a joyful stay; we hope to be back again. Owners were super responsive and very accommodating.

The house was exactly as advertised; we had a fun weekend swimming, hot tubbing, grilling, and playing board games at the big dining room table. The location has a nice secluded feel but is still conveniently close to grocery stores and restaurants if needed. The owner was easy to get ahold of to answer questions.

New Hampshire Haven

We enjoyed three nights in this beautiful home on Squam Lake. Nestled in the pine forest on the edge of the Lake, it affords beautiful views of the surrounds. However, it is the house that is the winner. Beautifully and creatively designed and fully equipped, with a wonderful kitchen, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The property was beautiful - modern and comfortable at the same time. Was generally accessible for family members ages 12-77! The house was stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen to cook and grill all meals. There were plentiful towels for both bath and lake...every accessory to enjoy the lake - paddle boards, kayaks, life jackets, noodles for swimming...

Modern Lakefront Tranquil Oasis

We stayed only for 2 nights around the fourth of July holiday which was too short of a stay. We had our young children and elderly parents stay with us for a quick tranquil getaway. We wish we could have stayed longer...the owners had paddle boards, kayaks(which they were double ones), and canoes.. the access to the water was lovely. Our 5 and 7 year old kiddos loved it! Kitchen is modern. The open floor plan so calming with views of the water. The fire pit was a lovely place to make smores with the kids. Our biggest complaint was no air conditioning- and just our luck we were there when it was in the mid to upper 80s with 99% humidity.. of note: if you have anyone with mobility issues, the parking area is a short walk to the house but when it's raining- walkers/wheelchairs not assessible. in addition, the couple of steps were hard to navigate with no railings. Forever special memories at a super modern oasis! Thank you!

Magical and Memorable Holiday!

This home is as beautiful as it looks! The hosts were very gracious and thoughtful about making our stay absolutely wonderful. It was the perfect place to spend Christmas with our adult sons and 94-year-old dad. We enjoyed cooking meals together in the large kitchen and gathering around the wood-burning fireplace. We formed memories that will last a lifetime! Thank you David and Sharon for sharing your home with us!

Stunning + Exceptionally Peaceful

Our family was celebrating a birthday and our wish was for time and space, together. This stunning property with its beautiful, modern design, airy but cozy spaces and deep connection to the lake, light and old growth trees was beyond expectation. We cooked, made fires, played cards, explored the surrounding woods and, happily, did little else. We skipped rough plans for a local dinner one night, no one wanting to leave and preferring instead to cobble together a meal at the broad kitchen island. Mostly we spent days shifting around among the home’s many perches and nooks - the reading chair on the catwalk, the steel fireplace that anchors the living room, the adirondacks by the lake, the four bunk room that feels like a treehouse, the hot tub. Every space was designed with incredible thoughtfulness and intent. This place is a gift. An escape to nature with exceptional comfort and midcentury design delights around every corner. Thank you, Sharon and David for sharing your incredible home. The feeling as we regrettably packed up was - grateful. We will be back.

Gorgeous family retreat

Our family had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home. The location was wonderful, on a quiet Squam Lake cove and only a 5 minute drive from Center Harbor. The design of the house was amazing, with communal areas being open and inviting with the best views of the lake. Bedrooms were well laid-out and accommodating. It was a real treat to stay there!

Beautiful home in a beautiful setting. We had such a wonderful week in this stunning home. Perfect Location

My husband, four kids, in-laws and I all stayed at this Squam Lake property to celebrate my FIL’s 80th birthday. Low-key relaxation is what we were looking for and boy did it deliver. We spent our days fishing from the dock, canoeing, kayaking, lounging in the hammock and hot tub. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. The house is thoughtfully stocked. Hosts are beyond amazing and you couldn’t ask for a better location. It’s quiet and peaceful but close enough to the madness of Winnipesaukee if that’s your speed. Overall, highly recommend a stay at this property.

Amazing house and host

Great place to work and relax

I took my team to this lovely home in NH for our twice-yearly in-person staff retreat. It was the perfect place for us to do some hard work — and to have some time to enjoy just being, both by ourselves and together. The layout of the kitchen / great room / dining space was particularly conducive to spending time working together. We really enjoyed our time and hope to go back.

Beautiful Home

This property is absolutely beautiful! Very close to Meredith and lots of restaurants. The home was very neat and organized. everything so very easy to find. The kids my husband and I really enjoyed this stay and will be back to get the summer feel for the home aswell!

The home and its location is remarkable. It features 270-degree views of the water and expanses of glass that let the outside in.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Our cove is quiet and peaceful with clear water for swimming. There's some motorboat traffic, but mostly just canoes, kayaks, paddleboards and quiet fishing boats. There's little traffic on the dirt road leading to the property. There are many places to eat and grocery shop in nearby Center Harbor and Meredith.
