We only had a few days to visit Pentwater, and this Cozy Cottage was exactly what we needed-a comfortable place to sleep, a kitchen to fix a few meals, peace and quiet along Pentwater Lake, and easy access to all the fun in the town of Pentwater and Lake Michigan. The host was friendly, accessible, and helpful.

Derek and Christin’s flip-flop cabin was the perfect base for our long weekend at the lakes. Equipped with basic necessities and some nice-to-haves like WiFi and a Roku TV, our family never found ourselves wishing we had something extra.Check-in was a breeze, and the check-out guidelines are very reasonable. Our kids are already asking us if we’re staying there again next year. If you’re looking for a simple, cozy place to stay that’s pretty much near everything, this is a great spot.

Peaceful getaway with thoughtful touches

We had a great time. Really enjoyed the kayaks, SUPs, and paddle boat provided. The cabin is cozy and had all we needed. Very much appreciated the simple and thoughtful details - like a lantern and s’mores forks. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Cove living 💗

Use of kayaks and paddle boards were fantastic, swimming off floating dock,so much fun. Room was clean and the air worked great. Two thumbs 👍 👍

I absolutely LOVE Christin!! She was so friendly when arriving and made us feel so welcomed. She offered to clean out the wet pedal boat (wet from the rain) the 2nd day we went to the adorable Pentwater town and explored. Came back to the cabin because my son needed to fish and so we dis. While fishing I dropped my ONLY set of keys in the lake and tried to get them out with a net, not luck. My kids got Christin and she was so quick to come and help. She then got her cool giant magnet and after a few minutes of patiently fishing around for my keys she found them!!! Sweetest person ever.The cabin was adorable and my kids and I loved hanging out in it when we weren't exploring the cool town!The lake was right by our cabin. We are already looking forward to our trip next year!!!

Very nice blend of a rustic cabin-like feel and the conveniences of a modern house. We enjoyed the cabin and the local beaches, dining, and store fronts.

Such a great cabin for our family to stay and relax in. Loved the proximity to Mears Park, the access to Pentwater Lake, and the fire pit/cornhole game was a fun surprise that the whole family loved! Would 100% stay here again.

A great family getaway

We had a fabulous stay at the flip flops cozy cove cabin. They are indeed cozy but we had everything we needed for sleeping, cooking and storing our gear. The location is beautiful and peaceful on the lake. Our two boys were in the water every day. Having access to paddle boards and kayaks made our stay even better - we could play outside without having to leave! This was our second visit and we will definitely return!

Cozy Little Slice of the Woods

This cabin was really clean and well stocked with all that you would need for an extended stay. It was very quiet and relaxing. Location was perfect and amongst all areas attractions were easily driven too. We WILL return!

A slice

We Know the area (Pentwater/Silver Lake) very well .... but we just found it! A slice of heaven. Very unassuming and quaint... A family of 4-6 could easily enjoy a week or more in the flip-flop cabin... From the themed decor to the throwback kitchen table to the Newer microwave,coffee maker and fridge... you will get “the cabin “ experience. You will hear in the back of your mind... (Tim Allen) “This ......is pure Michigan”

Flip Flop Cabin

We loved our stay at the Flip Flop Cabin. Pentwater is wonderful little town, that my family has enjoyed over the years. The cabin is located at perfect spot on Lake Pentwater and for a 15 minute walk you can see the sun set on Lake Michigan. The cabin was clean and comfortable with all new furniture and kitchen supplies. Our host were great. We will be back again. So excited we found a great place to stay in Pentwater. Lionel and Donna

We had a great time!

We really enjoyed our stay! The lake was beautiful and we were able to keep our boat in the water for our entire stay, which made things so much easier, because we used it multiple times everyday. The owner even helped my husband by driving our truck back to the cabin after he put the boat in (which was very close to the cabin). The cabin was stocked with so much more than I expected. The kitchen had everything you would need, including a coffee pot, toaster, utensils, dish towels, pots & pans, storage containers and more. The cabin itself was clean and comfortable. The owners of the property were awesome, and very helpful. They were on-site daily and even changed out our used bath towels, which I didn't expect at all. Pentwater is a great little town and there is a lot to do within a short drive. The beaches in both Pentwater and Ludington were amazing. We will definitely go back.
