Escapade relaxante dans le nord du Royaume

Notre unité de 1 chambre est située dans un complexe historique construit dans les années 1880 pour abriter les cheminots. Le complexe de bùtiments se trouve sur 6 acres de terrain le long d'une colline. Beaucoup d'arbres et de zones herbeuses à apprécier ainsi qu'un court sentier pédestre jusqu'à la riviÚre Connecticut.

L'unité est située au premier étage avec un porche enveloppant le long du cÎté. Nous avons mis à jour à l'unité avec des équipements modernes et stockés pour votre confort.

Un grand sectionnel confortable dans le salon vous donne beaucoup d'espace pour se détendre et regarder la télévision. Petite salle à manger pour 4 et cuisine avec four, micro-ondes, réfrigérateur, cafetiÚre, four grille-pain et entiÚrement approvisionné avec vaisselle et ustensiles de cuisson.

La chambre dispose d'un grand lit d'angle avec matelas en mousse Ă  mĂ©moire de forme. Un lit bĂ©bĂ© supplĂ©mentaire peut ĂȘtre dĂ©ployĂ© pour les personnes supplĂ©mentaires.

Its in a beautiful area of country and I wish I could have spent more time there. The host answered my questions immediately. It was quiet and that was important as we were only there late and wanted to sleep! I would go there again if I visit that area again.

Just what you'd want in a budget friendly place to come home to after a day of sightseeing in Vermont and New Hampshire. Clean, modestly appointed and the host and onsite manager were extremely accessible and helpful.

Exceeded my expectations

I was wanting to stay in the country, but not out of civilization and this fit the bill completely! I would highly recommend this place. One, Note: The front door is a bit tricky to get into, I was advise some fine tuning on that. But everything else was great!

Excellent! Beautiful place. Nicely decorated. The rooms were clean and close to the mountains. Kitchen has everything including a toaster and a coffee pot. It was great to be able to make dinner after long days on the mountain. WIFI connection was great. Easy to check in and out. Definitely would like to go back for a longer stay and to explore the area.

Vacationing from Michigan

We were there from Michigan for 4 days. Allison was very helpful and made check in easy. The apt was small and cozy. It is a very old building so floors slant a little and no storage for unpacking anywhere. No counter space in bathroom. Kitchen was well stocked with what you need. Cute place!

Fantastic value packed choice

I lived in the area for over 8 years growing up and never knew this place even existed. The location is great, right in between Woodsville and Wells River with easy access to I-91 (about 5 minutes up the road). This is also a short drive to North Haverhill, Haverhill, Piermont, Bath, Pike, and Lisbon on the New Hampshire side and Bradford, Newbury, Corinth, Ryegate, and Fairlee on the Vermont side. This house has a couple different options to accommodate different needs. They have studio, 1 bedroom, and 2 bedroom apartments available. The apartment we stayed in was the 1 bedroom and it was very nice. Comfortable bed and cot, sectional in the living room area, smart TV for streaming services, nice fully equipped kitchen with full size appliances, and free WiFi. We stayed for 5 days and it was so much better than a hotel (not to mention cheaper). The covered porch and large yard provide a nice area for relaxing or entertaining. There is also access to the river just down the road, just a short hike or take the car down and park in the pull off. I would highly recommend this for individuals, couples, and families looking for a nice, affordable place to stay. You won't find a better option for the money. We'll definitely be back!

Good experience

House section was clean and fairly well equipped. There were a few minor maintenance problems, and more lighting was needed. Staff was friendly and helpful. Cool old house. Frig leaks and doors need work. Good overall experience. Can recommend to others.

Quiet Get-Away

We enjoyed the place. Perfectly adequate size for 2 people. Nice wrap-around porch. Very clean. Kitchen is well suited for preparing your own meals. Helpful property manager on sight. The Connecticut River runs nearby for all sorts of swimming and paddling adventures! We did a 10 mile kayak trip from Wells River to Newburyport.

Location!

Wonderful location, nestled in a multi-unit building on the NH/VT border, with trails to the water accessible by foot. Very clean. Amazing porch with Adirondack chairs. We loved discovering this town, and it’s nearby trails, bridges and swimming holes.
