Dear Martha, I am truly surprised and disheartened your comment. Little did I expect such a comment full of nonsense and false statements, after the welcome and attention you had during your stay. If I could post our whatsapp conversation here where you said the complete opposite of all this, it would be enough to attest of the fact this comment is just here to harm the business of a welcoming host. - Not only, did we inform you ahead of time that you would be upgraded to another beautiful apartment in the same address because the one you booked was under maintenance due to a sudden issue with its whole water system. But we also gifted you two very expensive bottles of wine of year 1990 to apologize for the property change, gifts that you gladly accepted. Which you clearly did not judge useful to mention. - I moved my car to a spot far away from my own house and went to find a Free parking spot for you and kept standing in the spot waiting for you to come and park, so that you could have a safe and Free parking spot during the whole stay. Which I have no obligation to do, since I rent a property, not a parking spot. Nor am I a parking valet. But I did it and went above the top just because I meant to make your stay the most comfortable possible. Things you also prefer not mentioning. - Kitchen is fully equiped, we even provide coffee capsules. You were asked if you needed anything and responded that you had all you need. - Regarding the heater, it was 22 degrees the day you arrived, and for obvious ecological reasons we do not keep the heater running when the apartments are empty. It is at the guest's convenience to adjust it accordingly to the desired temperature. - I do not understand your comment about the fridge temperature and light,..even if the fridge and its light were not spared. We run an airbnb not a restaurant as far as I know. But you also seemed to have something to say about it. - Regarding the presence of an elevator, that is the only thing you mentioned to me. To which I replied it is the first time we hear about an elevator in our info section. And that it was due to the website which seemed to put it by default. And I went and removed this from our listing as soon as I found out and kept apologizing for this confusion. And you responded " it s okay it was a great exercice for my lungs and you were a great hostess". ... - The hair dryer was there when you checked in as well as after. You may have not seen it in its shelve. - There were 2 lamps in 1 bedroom + 2 in the livingroom but the guests before you broke one in the bedroom. You did take the extra one in the bedroom to your bedroom, yet you had a say about it too. Sorry for the fact that you found this lamp thing not catastrophic yet "alarming". Last but not least, you had more than one opportunity to let me know during your stay and after your stay when I asked you if everything was needed and how it went. But instead you chose to keep it to write this defamatory long and obsessively detailed comment, that brings you nothing other conveying a wrong and negative image about our property and way of hosting. I thought, it was my duty to take the time to answer each of these false details to establish back some sense of truth and fairness here. So the conclusion is, despite the fact you ended up as a guest taking advantage of my kindness to then come post a harmful comment, I will keep going above the top for guests and believe there is good in everyone.
