Oceanfront and Convenient Location

This 2-story, spacious house sits on concrete posts right over the ocean water. You will see 5-foot mantayrays rummaging the ocean floor under the house along with other fish, and on occasion, dolphins! You can fish right from the house deck or feel free to use our snorkel gear to hop off of the front porch and dive straight into the sea.

This home is an ideal combination of seclusion and convenience. There is a beach just a minute walk from the home. The town is a 7-minute bike ride and the super market is a 5-minute walk. You will take a short, 100 meter walk from the street on a jungle path to this hidden home over the water.

There are two bicycles available along with two paddle boards (with a returnable deposit) to jump right from the ocean deck into the water.

Snorkel gear and ocean gear is included.

This home has air conditioning and warm water.

GREAT HIDEAWAY ON THE WATER

All the comforts of home with a great view! We thoroughly enjoyed having those covered decks during the heavy rains!

Those outdoor decks over the ocean are truly a peaceholder; rain or bright sunshine :) I, myself, enjoy the bay from my deck frequently during work and leisure. Glad you enjoyed the home to the fullest.

Reading on the water

4 Adults spent a week at Laurens and thoroughly enjoyed it. Very relaxing and quiet except for the roosters, lol.

Bocas del Toro

Charming house on the water - can take the paddle board out right from the back porch! Lauren was a lovely host - easy to communicate with and very helpful. The bedrooms just have curtains, not doors, which was fine for us but if you are traveling with folks that need more privacy keep this in mind.

For younger people

The place is large and would be great for two couples. Of note is that the bedrooms are separated by paper screens, so there isn't much privacy. Also, one neighbor plays very loud music most of the time, but will turn it down some at a request from the host. The host is wonderful, very friendly and helpful. The steps to the deck, and those leading upstairs to the bedrooms are way too steep for a person with arthritis.I love that the water taxi comes right to your own deck. Bring a LOT of bug repellant.
