Close to a very nice beach - around 25 minutes to walk - there is parking closer but it does get busy at peak times. Really good local shops. Good sized semi-detached property with a large secure garden and parking area for several cars. We were able to let our dog roam freely in the garden which was brilliant. Nice big dining table/area and a 2-seater sofa. The kitchen is relatively well equipped with lots of plates and serving dishes, a full size dishwasher, fridge freezer and washing machine. The oven is very small but there is also a separate microwave and an outdoor barbecue (we didn’t use at it was very hot and dry). The two upstairs bedrooms are lovely and airy. The ground floor single bedroom is very small and the washing machine drains via pipes through that room as does the upstairs bathroom so it is quite a noisy room at times. The bathroom could do with the shower being updated as it would be nice if the shower could be mounted on the wall. All very usable though. We had a great week here using it as a base to explore the island and found it very comfortable - suited our family of 4.
