New year stay

Beautiful property! Great location for ski in ski out. Property management needs a solution for trash disposal. We had to keep trash in our entry hall for the entire 5 day stay.

There are onsite dumpsters located on the front left-hand side of the Moonlight Lodge for guests to dispose of their trash and recycling. We hope we have the opportunity to host you again!

Vacasa is ruining VRBO

Location of property was great. We booked for location and having a private hot tub. Hot tub felt like a bait and switch. It is more like an outdoor jetted tub- maybe 18-24” deep. Total joke except for little kids. Master bedroom under main living area so tough if anyone wants to sleep in. Kid bunk room over main living area with windows so kids were bothered by lights on/adults talking downstairs which was a bummer. Vacasa was terrible to work with. Dirty dishes in cupboard when we arrived. They wouldn’t give us any dishwasher soap, town was a 30 min drive each way that I guess they wanted us to drive just to buy dishwasher pods. (No wonder the people before us had left dirty dishes) Eventually they gave us soap. No instructions in the house on where to take trash, how to ski in/ski out, local info, etc. Thought I left my wallet behind on the last day, Texted Vacasa within an hour. They wanted to charge me $$$ (vrbo won’t let me post amount) to LOOK for the wallet, not to send it just to say if it was even there. As if they didn’t already have a cleaning crew there that they could just ask. VRBO used to be renting from an owner who cared about your experience. Vacasa only cares about money. One dish towel for 8 people for 5 days. Supplies at all vacasa rentals are the same regardless of days or guests or how much money you pay. Will never rent a property run by them again. Hopefully owners get wise to this.

Amazing Getaway

This home was very clean and stocked with everything we needed, had amazing views, and was located in a nice, quiet neighborhood that felt private. The roads get a lot of snow but are manageable to drive. We had a fantastic time and can’t wait to go back in the summer months!

Relaxing Stay

We truly enjoyed this home. There were 6 people and it was comfortable for each of us. The kitchen is a bit small but had most of everything we could have needed to cook at home. It's about 12 minutes away from downtown Big Sky. We did a Yellowstone tour out of Bozeman and hit took us about an hour to get to the gate. The beds were comfortable but something must have been wrong with the hot water heater because it would only run hot water for about 5 minutes and then the showers were cold. We reported it but I'm not sure anyone came out to fix it. We were there about 7 days with little hot water. Cell phone service is not great so if you are wanting to completely disconnect it's great.

Sightseeing in the big sky

It’s an amazing place to stay. Your at the very top of a mountain with the most awesome view. All household accommodations were avl. Clean, spacious, modern look. Drive from main rd can be a little long depending on truck traffic but well worth it. Highly recommend!

Great Place

The place was perfect for our family of seven. Plenty of room for all of us. It was clean and ready for us when we arrived. It is a 10-15 minute drive to restaurants in the town center so you might want to grab some things from the grocery store before heading up. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location and space

Overall a great stay! We had three teenagers and plenty of space to spread out. The condo was very well stocked and we loved having a grill. The location was wonderful and it was easy for everyone to get around. My only concern was the lack of cleanliness of the condo. I was very surprised based on all of the positive reviews and comments about it. Tables and countertops were not clean. The rugs had food and lint on them. Most light switches and glass doors had hand prints all over them. The master bath mats were stained. It appeared that linens had been cleaned, but nothing else had been done. For the price, I expected a clean condo. We have stayed in many ski resorts and this was one of the dirtiest.

Saddle Ridge

This was a beautiful condo! Loved the decor and views. Kitchen was also well stocked with supplies. However, you need to know that the Moonlight Lodge and ALL its amenities are off-limits to renters. After talking with a Moonlight Basin rep., it was not a COVID issue but rather an abundant amount of black-out dates to give owners first priority. In addition, when it is open to renters, the rep said you have to purchase daily access. VACASA and VRBO should be more transparent regarding this. With older kids, we were satisfied with the hot tub. However, younger children may be very disappointed without the pool and lake access. We heard complaints from a few others who felt slighted by the situation/information. Just an FYI to call Moonlight Basin (even in the winter) before you book if access is important to you!

Big Sky Getaway

Had a great time in Big Sky and enjoyed this cozy villa. Had plenty of room for the whole family and hot tub to help soothe soar muscles after daily adventures. Enjoyed the beautiful views of Big Sky from the upper deck!!

Moonlight Basin Townhouse

Great views. Separate decks are a nice touch. Hot tub and master suite downstairs adjacent to the kids bedroom creates a nice living space for the main family. We put our guests upstairs. Thank you for the box fans. They helped circulate the warmer summer air out of town the unit.

Amazing Townhome - Ski in Ski Out

This place was one of the best places we have rented when taking our family skiing. We have three kids and we brought our nanny and there was plenty of space for everyone. It is ski in ski out to a less busy couple of lifts and was super clean and updated. Highly recommend.

This spot is perfect for couples or families. Clean, well styled, perfect spot on the mountain. The hot tub was key for APRES Ski. We will be staying here again!

This is the place to stay.

This property is amazing. It is in the perfect location on the mountain. It is warm, extremely clean, perfect size for the whole family. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen has everything you would need. The hot tub is wonderful and extremely clean and well kept. I can't say enough good things about this place!! Working with the property managers was easy and quick with anything you need. Loved our Christmas stay here.
