It was such a nice getaway. Close enough to things we wanted but far enough to feel removed. We enjoyed just staying in and cooking, and sitting on the dock looking at the stars. There was so many duck families, and my cousin and I saw an eagle swoop down to catch a fish!

The cabin is situated on a pretty lake, new kitchen and clean. A great location for our sightseeing the area. However, overall, the space was much smaller than we expected from the photos. Although the listing indicated that it could accommodate six people, we found it small for the two of us. We also noticed a strong scent from plug in air fresheners which was a bit overpowering. The proximity of the owner’s home and neighboring houses made the setting less private than we expected. It was very quiet when we were there which we greatly appreciated. Overall, the cabin may be better fit for guests looking for a small, simple getaway. Communication was very good and the owner even had an outside fire going on our arrival.

Lakeside cabin

Hosts were so friendly and open. Great spot on a nice part of the lake. Loved the dock and chairs for coffee and sunsets.

Immaculately Clean Magical Camp on the Water.

We enjoyed our 4 night stay in this small cabin. The owner pays attention to every detail to make a clean and comfortable stay. It has the feel of a magical hobbit hole with dainty windows and cozy furniture. All necessities were provided.

Our family absolutely loved our stay. Hosts are amazing and went above and beyond if we ever needed anything. 10 mins from town, 20 or 30 mins away from great hiking and daily adventures. Fish galore, my kids wouldnt stop fishing!We would love to come back one day.

My week at Lake Linden

The cabin was cozy, cute and everything we needed. We saw waterfalls, hiked,Delaware mine, good food. Thimbleberry margaritas in Calumet and just plain relaxing. We didn't take advantage of the lake but it was nice to look at.

Cabin is super clean, cute decor and very thoughtful in regards to what it has for guests to use. Felt very comfortable staying there. Owners are friendly and helpful if needed.

Cozy cabin in the UP

We enjoyed this cozy cabin on Portage Lake near Calumet. It was nice to have access to a boat for fishing and kayaks which we took advantage of. Good leaping off point to explore the rest of the Keweenaw Peninsula.

Relaxing Cabin on Beautiful Lake - A VRBO Gem

Kierstin and Tom have done a fantastic job remodeling this small cabin on their property on the lake. Great location, peaceful surroundings, and amazing hosts- what else can you ask for? Highly recommended!
