Maison récente construite en 2010, c'est la maison parfaite loin de chez soi! Niché dans les Poconos, à seulement 5 km de la sortie 87 de l'autoroute à péage PA, vous pouvez débrancher et profiter de la tranquillité de la nature tout en profitant de toutes les attractions les plus proches! La maison est située à quelques minutes du lac Harmony (Jack Frost / Big Boulder) La communauté a beaucoup à offrir pour les activités d'été avec un accès proche à son propre grand lac magnifique Towamensing qui a également une piscine et une plage!

This home was clean, cozy and accurate to the photos. The kitchen had everything we needed and the fireplace in the living area was a nice touch. Master bedroom was spacious and private and the game room downstairs was perfect for our group of adults. A couple of things to note - house rules include bringing the trash to a separate location in the community at the end of your stay with a 50 penalty if you leave it in the house. Also bring your own blow dryer and soaps for the shower.

Thank you so much for your review. So happy you enjoyed your stay at the chalet. Trash passes are supplied by the HOA to keep the community clean and safe. In our eight years of renting the place there have been a handful of renters that have not used the passes and left the trash outside upon departure. When it’s time to clean the house and flip it for our next renters, the trash has already been attacked by critters, including bears. It’s a disaster for the person that’s there to clean the inside the house. We had to put something in place to prevent this from happening. Thanks for understanding.

This was our second stay, and we've been happy with everything both times. It was warmer this year so we got to spend a day at the lake with the kids, they had a blast. The water is so clear, and the beach was clean and not crowded. We also did some short, kid-friendly hikes in Hickory Run: Boulder Field and Hawk Falls. This is a great place for families.

Fantastic Family Getaway

The Chalet is exactly as advertised and more! The hosts thought of everything a family would need from a fully-stocked kitchen to luxurious towel sets for all guests. The kids enjoyed the games, going to the pool and lake while also exploring other local trails and attractions. Thanks, Chris & Angela, for being so responsive and providing us with a great home away from home!

Great for Families

Even though we hit a cold week in August, there was plenty to do. Hiking in Hickory Run State Park and a train ride in Jim Thorpe were both hits with the kids. The house was clean and cozy, with everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

Lovely Home

the home was comfortable and beautifully decorated, very simple with plenty of room to easily store our belongings. kitchen was fully stocked with coffee maker, microwave and plenty of dinnerware and pots and pans. would stay here again....location is excellent and very peaceful and quiet.

60th birthday celebration

This was the perfect house for our family celebration. Large enough for fun game nights and family dinners. We enjoyed a fun day in nearby Jim Thorpe. And especially enjoyed soaking in the hot tub after a chilly day outside.

Men’s Retreat Weekend

Beautiful and comfy home and location tucked away in the woods near Jim Thorpe, PA - lots of room and bed styles for our group, game room and hot tub and well equipped kitchen made for a comfortable disconnecting - with quiet discussion, walks, and reading.

Great getaway

Our family really enjoyed this home! Everything was as expected and the house offers such a warm feel to it. The basement was perfect for our teen who loves playing basketball along with board games. This home is the perfect getaway and our family loves it so much that we will likely book again in the summer months.

Fantastic home away from home!

One of the best properties I’ve ever stayed

Staying at different BnB and VRBO properties for the better part of the last 10 years this is by far one of the best. From the layout of home to above and beyond amenities (hot tub /jacuzzi TVs in every room with cable + streaming ) to the little things like a built in child guard on the top of the deck steps.truly a lovely home and look forward to coming back next year!

Get away

Wonderful property. Overall we really enjoyed our 2 nights. However, it would be nice if there were a few more basics such as bed linens, towels, more kitchen basics - salt, pepper, etc.

Chris & Angela Wilson reside in King of Prussia, PA with their 17 year old son and two boxers, Lito & Bubba. Chris went to Upper Merion High School and Ang went to Plymouth Whitemarsh. They both went to Millersville University where they remained friends for years. They reconnected at the Eagles home opener, on September 16, 2012. 4 years later to the date, they got married on the Chesapeake Bay, in a small town called Havre De Grace, where they spend their summers.

For as long as Ang has known Chris, he always talked about having a mountain house someday. They both grew up skiing and spending winters in the area so it was a no-brainer that Albrightsville was the perfect place to purchase! We hope you enjoy the house as much as we do as we have already created so many happy memories there and we hope you do too!

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

We fell in love with this place the moment it popped up on Zillow back in 2016. We were looking for a 2nd home and this one spoke to us immediately. We love the open floor plan, the natural lighting and just the whole vibe. The basement is a huge bonus as most of the houses in that area do not have one. We love that it has privacy but also close to all the attractions that Albrightsville has to offer!
