Hidden Gem!

This is a great place for a small group. The property was clean. The location was perfect for our travel schedule, and it is close to stores and restaurants. The host were great and provided excellent info for places close by. We were able to watch the sunset from the backporch. It was beautiful!

Our Little House in the Desert

My friend and I enjoyed out time at this little house. The house is between both the Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon West. The town is small and has just a few restaurants and stores so be prepared when you visit this home. The people in the town were friendly and we loved the Mexican restaurant. I would recommend this home if you are doing your Grand Canyon visit.

Dolan Oasis/ A step back in time.

Overall it was a great experience Deep in the heart of Dolan. Quiet neighborhood and open range for all sorts of animals walking in the night. A little surprised where the washer and dryer was located on site, but the add did come through and said washer and dryer was one of the amenities. It was a unique experience for that. It was one of a kind and all the promised amenities dod come through. The was quick to reply through VRBO.

The inside of the apartment was very comfortable, it was clean, it was convenient. Our only problem was that we couldn't find the information as to where it exactly was located. it lacked instructions because it is down a dirt road. took us maybe 30 minutes of Geo tracking to find this location. Other than that the stay was very good. If I were to come back to this area I would consider staying there again.

We ended up not staying the night after finding hair in the sheets, ants in the bathroom, vanity not wiped down from the previous guests, and dried pee on the toilet. Would not recommend.

Renters BEWARE

My sister and I arrived about 7pm. When we entered the house the a/c wasn't on so the house was sweltering and uncomfortably hot. We turned on a/c and 4 hours later the temperature may have dropped 2-3 degrees. By then we were already packing since several cockroaches were insistent on joining our sister's trip. Owner refused refund claiming we didn't notify him of situation until after checkout. We were to stay 2 nights and stayed 4 hours notifying owner the day after we left his property as we left about 11pm at might and felt it rude to call on the middle of the night.

It is unfortunate that bugs were present in the home, we do have a pest control company who comes out regularly, although being a rural area different critters are around. The A.C cools the home down very quickly being it is only 600 Sq. Ft. never taking more than a 1/2 hour to feel comfortable. The A.C is usually left on it may have been turned off by mistake. We now have a online monitoring system to prevent this from happening again. A prompt email at the time of incident would have provided us the opportunity to correct any issues quickly, we are always available any time day or night for our guest

The views at sunset are amazing. Communication with Roberto was always super fast responding. The house is actually split into two rentals. The washer and dryer is on the front porch of the backside rental which made it kind of odd to enter the other property’s gate and go onto their porch to get laundry. I realize it’s desert but wish the grounds inside the fence were cleaned and accessible. Be prepared for bugs and spiders. Shower is a small corner shower, wish that was larger and I’m petite. Also wish there was an air fryer since there is no oven. Beds were comfy and clean. Overall it’s an okay place to stay close to Grand Canyon and Route 66. Would possibly stay again.

Good clean facility.

Overall good place to stay for a couple days if you have activities near Dolan Springs. The only thing I would change if I were the owner is to install an exhaust fan in the bathroom.

Location very convenient

The location and size of the property was ideal for our weekend needs. Just a couple of glitches due to internet access in the area and only being able to communicate with the owner via VRBO site until we were actually in the property. Everything was clean and ready for our arrival. We basically just needed sleeping and showering accommodations for the weekend so it worked out very well. Liked having the kitchen available for coffee/toast in the morning and quick microwave dinner late evening. Would rent it again if we have an event in the area.

December Stay

Robert is an amazing host and his property is ideal for my husband. It is the perfect size and provides everything my husband needs. My husband loves the location. He says it's quite, nice and dark and he is actually able to see the stars.

Perfect for Work Location

My husband stayed their another month for his job. This location is ideal and cuts down his travel time. The area is super quite and just wonderful to hear the night life of the Arizona desert animals. Wonderful to have no city lights or traffic noises as well. Robert is wonderful to work with and is such a pleasure.

Perfect for Work Location

My husband is putting up a wind farm in White Hills, AZ. This was a perfect location for him to stay for the month due to it only being 25 minutes from the site. It was quiet and remote and ideal for my husband to wind down at the end of the night. The owner is super nice and responsive when my husband needed something.

Cute house, great yard

We had a great time, cute little town. We drive to Lake Meed and Grand Canyon. I’d say the pictures do not do it justice, the pictures make it look “dated” but the house is actually quite modern. Very clean and well maintained.
