RÉSERVEZ MAINTENANT du 5 au 8 décembre. Le vieux week-end de Noël - défilé de cloches et plus

Ceci est une suite supérieure qui est reliée à la maison principale mais complètement privée, une allée privée et une entrée privée. Le pont a une table de patio avec 4 chaises. Il y a une cuisine complète avec une cuisinière vitrée, avec réfrigérateur et lave-vaisselle. Il y a aussi une laveuse et une sécheuse. Cette unité a un plan d'étage ouvert avec une salle à manger et un coin salon qui a un futon queen size. Il y a 2 chambres à coucher. Une avec un matelas queensize et l'autre avec 2 lits jumeaux. Nous avons également un matelas queen-size gonflable. Il y a une télévision et une cheminée. Une table de bistrot avec deux chaises est située afin que vous puissiez regarder et voir les bois et le lac. La salle de bain a une porte de douche en verre avec de beaux carreaux.

Il n'y a que 30 marches menant au lac. Le niveau de l'eau est élevé, ce qui a fait sortir beaucoup de sable, exposant les anciennes digues. L'eau est idéale pour la baignade. Nous avons 200 'de façade sur le lac. Il y a des zones où vous pouvez vous asseoir ou vous allonger sur la plage. Vous pouvez marcher sur la plage sur plus de 16 km. Vous pouvez profiter d'un dîner sur le pont et profiter d'un coucher de soleil spectaculaire.

Puisque toutes les commodités sont là, nous demandons un séjour minimum de 4 jours et maximum 1 mois.

Quiet Beach Vacay

This location was perfect for our family and with having private beach access, this was the most quiet and peaceful beach vacation we've ever experienced.

Our stay was very nice. The cottage was well appointed. We enjoyed the fire pit. Very isolated and private. Location was great. Communication with the owner could have been better; I called several times and never received a call back, but then later received a text.

Manistee Vacation

Brought my girlfriend and 2 daughters (9 and 5) for a relaxing getaway. The place was excellent and just as described. Beach access was the main draw but downtown and public beaches were great as well. We would absolutely come back!

Pristine beach

The property was beautiful and right on Lake Michigan away from the crowds! The shoreline was pristine with beautiful sand. It was enjoyable for long quiet walks along the beach for miles in each direction. The sunsets were beautiful. The breeze from the lake was refreshing even on hot days and the sunshine plentiful for tanning. The condo was nicely welcoming. The hosts were attentive and accommodating. We kayaked the pine river one day and also ran into Traverse City. We ate icecream about every day in the historic downtown Manistee. We loved our stay.

Beautiful getaway

I took my children and mother for a stay and we were blown away by the amazing view! We all had a blast and loved that the property is hidden within the forest as we all love nature! The lake was crystal clear and beautiful we had a relaxing time walking along the beach. The property owner was very friendly and helpful. The rental property was very clean. We overall enjoyed everything about this propety location and I will absolutely book this property again in the future. If you are looking for an amazing lake front property this is it !

We enjoyed our stay. The area was quiet and peaceful. The cottage was well stocked with paper supplies etc. We could have used some extra bath and kitchen towels. The beds were comfortable. Sitting on the futon was uncomfortable. I would have preferred a sofa with an ottoman. Big TV was fantastic.

Summer Vac

Very easy to work with the owners. We had a great time. Loved having the beach to ourselves. Towels and washcloths weren't included, which was kind of a bummer. There was no indication on how to get down to the beach (through the owners' yard) until we found it by accident. Would have been nice to see a "Beach this way " sign. No "seating" area around the TV area. It was comfy for the 5 of us, fans were great in the rooms. I looked all over for the "grill", but couldn't find it - instead we found a grate over the firepit (which ended up being the grill). We made burgers and hotdogs once but wouldn't recommend anything else on it. When we saw Grill listed, we figured it would be an actual Grill.

Great location and friendly hosts

We enjoyed our week here. The property is peaceful, and the owners are friendly and helpful. The common space is nice and open (the photos don't totally do it justice), and the bedrooms are comfortable. The beach was heavenly, and the sunsets were amazing! Also, there are bald eagles nesting nearby, and we got to see them on several occasions. A few more labels and instructions in/around the unit would be helpful. As another reviewer noted, finding your way to the water the first time is a little tricky (even with the emailed instructions from the owner). The driveway up to the property is fairly steep and the turnaround at the top is tight, which wasn't a deterrent for us, but something you may want to know if you're considering the property, especially if you're coming in more than one car. Also, while everything inside is on one level, you need to go down and back up a series of steps to get from the parking area to the house, so if you have mobility issues, that could be challenging. All in all, we had a great time and would wholeheartedly recommend the property.

Extremely dirty rental

I don't like leaving bad reviews but this one needs to be left. The house was extremely dirty! The shower was disgusting and not cleaned at all, and the toilet was the same way! Everywhere you look in the house it was just filthy!! The stairs to the beach are a long walk from the rental. The way the pictures are it would make you think they are directly out front, but they are not. On top of all that the owners who also live on the property decided it was a good idea to display their political signs all over the place! As a business owner I would never display my political opinion at my place of business.... I didn't want to look at BLM signs and liberal garbage during my stay!

A great way to enjoy Manistee

Our family greatly enjoyed our time here! What a beautiful place to enjoy Lake Michigan. We decided to end our summer at the beach and this spot was just what we needed. We traveled with 3 young kids, 6, 4, and 2, and there was enough space for all of us (baby was in a pack n play). Initially, I was a little worried about the erosion and sea wall but our children navigated it just fine and we felt very safe on the beach and swimming. There was a lot of flat areas on the beach to play on. It was also a great launching point! We have enjoyed Northern Michigan many times and chose to explore Manistee, Frankfort, the Platte River area, and Baldy trail while we were there. It was great to take a small adventure during the morning and come back to relaxing on the beach for the afternoon. Our kids LOVED walking down the beach. It is very private and feels like you have the whole space to yourself. We found lots of great stones, beach glass, and my kids could have played for hours in the lake. It was the best way to end our summer.

We had a wonderful stay, the property could not be nicer. The owner were on site and could not be friendlier. It had everything we needed for our stay and is just short drive to Manistee where we spent a lot of time. I would recommend this property for anyone.

Wonderful house by the lake

Great spot right by the water on a long private beach. Our family enjoyed a very serene view of the water with wonderful sunsets. Everyone loved watching the sunset by the fire pit.

Beautiful location, attentive hosts!

My husband and I immensely enjoyed our stay at this lovely place. Shirley has made the house very cozy with lots of nice details--even leaving us a plate of pastries as a welcome! The view of the lake is truly stunning, and the surrounding area is perfect for all kinds of adventuring or rest and relaxation in any season. Shirley and her husband were very responsive and checked in on us by text when snow made the driveway a bit difficult to traverse. They went out of their way to make sure we were able to enjoy our stay to the fullest, and we appreciated it! Highly recommend this place to any traveler who appreciates natural beauty and warm hospitality.

Unbelievably relaxing and low key

We had a relaxing low key few days at this Super secluded tranquil location. Amazing nightly sunsets by the fire pit, and private beach! The owner had wonderful recommendations for sites to visit, restaurants, and grocery nearby. We had everything we needed. Highly recommend and would definitely return!!
