DĂ©tendez-vous dans une retraite de montagne isolĂ©e. NichĂ© sur un acre de terrain privĂ©, cet espace confortable est plein de lumiĂšre naturelle, de belles vues sur la forĂȘt et Ă  proximitĂ© de toutes les montagnes de Jemez. La propriĂ©tĂ© est Ă  quelques minutes de la caldeira des VallĂ©es et d'autres randonnĂ©es, pĂȘche et chasse Ă  proximitĂ© (6A). Un rapide trajet de 40 minutes vous amĂšnera sur les pistes du domaine skiable de Pajarito ou explorera le monument national de Bandalier. Profitez des Ă©lans ou des chevreuils tĂŽt le matin qui traversent la cour et une partie de cornhole Ă  l'ombre l'aprĂšs-midi. Veuillez noter ** nous sommes situĂ©s au large d'une route forestiĂšre non pavĂ©e. Notre route n'est pas amĂ©liorĂ©e et soumise aux conditions mĂ©tĂ©orologiques. Les 4 roues motrices ne sont pas nĂ©cessaires pendant les mois chauds, mais peuvent l'ĂȘtre en hiver. We had an amazing 5 day stay, cabin had all the necessities and kitchen was well stocked with cooking pots, pans and utensils etc. Awesome windowed sun room overlooking the woods where we watched some Elk, a bobcat, assorted woodpeckers, birds and hummingbirds. Hummingbird and seed feeders supplied. Very quiet, peaceful, enjoyable and relaxing atmosphere.

Restful and Refreshing Cabin -- Delightfully Prepared

The owner takes very thoughtful care of this property ... it was welcoming, comfortable, well prepared for our needs, and a blessing for resting and refreshing after a long work day (we were here to help in a family project). We particularly enjoyed the sun porch view of the sunset! We also liked watching the hummingbird feeder at one of the windows. Thank you for providing this restful place for our stay.

We had such a wonderful stay at this cabin in Jemez Springs. The location was perfect—peaceful, beautiful, and surrounded by incredible scenery. We loved being close to so many amazing spots like Soda Dam, Valles Caldera, Jemez Falls, Battleship rock, Natural Hot springs and Los Conchas Trail.The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and very comfortable. We especially appreciated the kitchen being fully stocked for cooking, and it even had a countertop ice maker—such a nice extra touch. One of our favorite moments was waking up to a light dusting of snow during our stay—it made the whole experience feel even more magical.Traveling with our dogs can sometimes be tricky, so we really appreciated having a place where they could relax with us and enjoy the trip too.The only small suggestion we would offer is adding a few more towels (kitchen towels, hand towels, and washcloths), especially for longer stays. Otherwise everything was great.One other tip for future travelers: the area is a little rugged in spots, so we’d recommend arriving in a truck or SUV if possible. Also, be prepared for limited to no cell service through a lot of the area but the wifi at the cabin worked great! We had such a wonderful stay at this cabin in Jemez Springs. The location was perfect—peaceful, beautiful, and surrounded by incredible scenery. If you're looking for a quiet place to unwind and explore the Jemez area, this cabin is a great choice. We would absolutely stay here again!

Fantastic and peaceful cabin close to abundant natural beauty. We had a great time, the cabin was perfect for us. We enjoyed hiking, making dinner, sitting outside and watching the wildlife. Very private. This region of New Mexico is stunning; rich with history and dramatic landscapes.

Mountain Oasis

We loved the porch. My husband and I were looking to take in the beauty around us an relax, and this cabin was the perfect fit. We enjoyed watching the hummingbirds, deer, and wildlife all around us. The cabin had all the tings we needed and more. We hope to return to it again. It was so peaceful.

Heaven in Jemez

Literally at the end of the road. Very clean, well appointed, especially the kitchen. Private, quiet, peaceful. Saw a couple of deer. DVD player. Bring your favorites. Weather was perfect. No electronics for 5 days. Aah.

Lovely stay in Jemez

The cottage is lovely, with all the rooms in perfect order. The kitchen is well equipped. Be aware that getting to the cabin could be challenging if it has recently rained (about 10 minutes on dirt roads). We had a 4-wheel drive Jeep so it was OK, but regular cars could have a hard time.

Great family escape

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the Cozy Mountain Hideaway. It really is "cozy" , we were very happy with our choice. It is a pretty remote area so be prepared with your own food supplies and drinking water, and if traveling in winter it wouldn't be a bad idea to bring tire chains for your SUV/truck. We received a foot snow overnight one of the nights so we decided not to drive anywhere that day and we had a blast playing in the snow and warming up by the pellet stove. Our favorite thing about the cabin was the enclosed front porch. We were there in winter but the sun warmed it up nicely during mid-day so it was a great place to kick back with a book and good scenery. We did have electricity go out for about 6 hours (night and early morning) but we had brought a jetboil so we were still able to make ourselves oatmeal and coffee for breakfast before the electricity came back on (we found out later there is a generator available). The beds are not great for small children or crazy sleepers because they are extraordinarily high off the floor (the top of the mattresses were above my hips; I'm 5'3"). We ended up making our 2yr old a cozy spot on the floor with her sleeping bag. Kitchen is well stocked with every tool we needed for a week of cooking all sorts of meals. The cabin is also very well stocked with games and movies.

Mike and I are both natives of New Mexico, living in Rio Rancho. We spend many of our weekends exploring the Jemez mountains. Fly fishing is our passion, but we also love the beautiful hikes and nature walks in the area as well. It has always been our dream to have a little mountain getaway and we are happy to share it with you. We hope you make as many wonderful memories here as we have!

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

We love this area because it is so close to many of our favorite spots in the Jemez. Two beautiful nature walks/hikes with river access are just minutes from the neighborhood (East Fork and Los Conchas). A short 15-20 minute drive puts you in the Valles Caldera National Preserve. We are a scenic 40 minutes from Los Alamos and Pajarito ski area. A 30 min drive NE will take you to Bandalier National Monument, While 30 minutes NW will take you to Fenton lake and the seven springs fish hatchery ( kids under 12 can fish).
