I stayed at this property over the weekend with my two daughters, my grandchildren (ages 5 and 2), and a newborn. Unfortunately, the experience was discouraging and raised several serious concerns.Upon arrivalâapproximately 30 minutes after check-inâmy daughter was met in the driveway by a man explaining that several vehicles (with multiple children and teenagers) would be leaving shortly and that we would need to accommodate their timing. This interaction was uncomfortable and unwelcoming, particularly given that the stay was intended for myself and young children. It immediately raised concerns about safety and boundaries, especially as this appeared to be a neighbor or third-party issue. Once inside, it became clear that the listing was not accurately represented. The photos did not match the condition of the home, and the property is described as a three-bedroom when it is, in fact, two bedrooms with a loft. This distinction matters, as it affects both expectations and pricing. The greatest concern was safety. The staircase banisters are not up to child safety standardsâmy nearly two-year-old granddaughter could fit her entire body through them. Physically blocking the stairs throughout the WE to prevent a potentially serious injury. Despite the listing stating the property is suitable for children ages 0â17, it is not safe and does not appear to meet VRBO or Tennessee safety code standards for child accommodations. This property has potential but not for families
