Belle maison de trois chambres située au sommet de la colline. La maison récemment rénovée (juillet 2018) offre une vue magnifique sur l'océan et les montagnes. La chambre principale a un lit queen size et un accès à un magnifique balcon privé. La 2ème chambre a deux lits jumeaux et la 3ème offre un très confortable canapé-lit Queen.

La maison est livrée avec une voiturette de golf Yamaha 2018 pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 4 passagers. 373EW

The property was everything the listing said it was and more. The inside was clean and pretty well decorated. The small wall heaters do a real good job heating up the place because it was a little cold at night.The view was fantastic and although it was uphill having a golf cart is priceless. The island is very drivable and don’t pay for a tour on the island do it in your golf cart. We would definitely stay there again!

This home was exactly what we expected. The rooms were all clean and nice. The view is amazing from multiple rooms. The kitchen was adequate for cooking. The golf cart is a must to get around town and worked well. FYI, There is 1 full flight of stairs to enter the property from the road above. The check in process was a bit confusing at first but easily resolved. We would stay again.

Spectacular Views, Great Stay

We didn't spend much time at the house as we were out at the beach or checking out the island but found it a nice place to crash. Beds and couches were comfortable and it had a great view to enjoy with coffee in the morning. The fact it comes with a cart is very handy.

Wonderful place to stay!

This house was so wonderful! The view is magical! The living room and kitchen are large and great for cooking together. Having the golf cart was was such a bonus. I highly recommend this house and will definitely come back to stay again!

Perfect for our crew!

This property was perched atop a VERY steep hill but had some spectacular views. We enjoyed our stay and the golf cart was a total savior with how hilly everything was. The rental said it slept 8 but we didn’t realize until we got there that they had an air mattress there. We brought our own just in case but we’re happy to see it was provided. Opening the windows let in the most beautiful breeze. We all slept great and couldn’t wait to return after dinner and hang out together in the living room.

The home is very nice with a view of the harbour. The golf cart saved the days. However the air conditioner did not work, the shower had mold, only 3 chairs at the eating table, some windows had no or damaged screens, andthe brakes on the golf cart barely stopped us. We did get a maintenance man on the ac after spending one very warm evening/night, but he couldn’t fix it; and he told us he’d have to take the cart in for repair.

Beautiful Views with Bonus Golf Cart

It was great to be in the hills and the trips into town were pretty manageable. There were conditions in the contract documents (provided by the property management company) that had me worried. But, we had no problems. We were fortunate to see deer grazing and a fox running around the area. The property was as advertised. The only thing I would change is to have lock on one bathroom doors.

Nothing fancy/spartan furnishings

Well first impressions were not good. construction work was being done on the outside of the VRBO. Tools were left on the entryway steps. extension cord running across the walkway. tools remained in the outside entry way for the next day. Both conditions presented a slips trips and falls danger. Balcony view included a the backyard directly below with various pieces of junk laying all around.

Beautiful views

The property had amazing views of the island. It was less than a mile from the port, but was also at the top of what a local told us was the “steepest hill in Catalina”. This info would have been nice to know as we walked it with suit cases and it was quite the trek. The house was large and gave us adequate space to sleep and lounge around. Ot had everything we needed to make lunches and be comfortable. The space needs some TLC though. Nails in the walls with nothing hung, unfinished tile work and a lack of warmth in the space. I would say it sleeps 4 semi comfortably. The last is very nice and have a lovely bathroom and terrace. The other two bedrooms were lacking. Two twin beds (child sized beds no adult could really fit comfortably) and a pull out couch bed which was very uncomfortable and did not fit two people as advertised. Having the golf cart was wonderful. There’s no better way to get around the island and it fit 4 adults easily. Overall it was a decent space. Having stayed in several rentals on the island it needs a little more love but was the least expensive for what you get.

Incredible view!

This property had incredible views, a large living space perfect for hanging out with family, and two clean bedrooms. The sofa bed in the third bedroom had dirt on the mattress when we opened it, and it was very uncomfortable! The sofa bed had a very thin mattress, and bar right in the middle of the bed. We were under the impression the home slept 8, but there were signs on the front of the home saying that maximum occupancy was 6. Additionally we couldn’t find the arrow bed anywhere. We were lucky we had our 7th person cancel, because there wouldn’t have been anywhere for them to sleep. The cable tv didn’t work. The home is at the top of one of the steepest hills in Avalon. Walking up it is doable, but it was tough for my parents and 5 year old to do, especially with luggage. The bbq outside looked nice, but we didn’t use it. Otherwise outside the building in the side yard, front yard and balcony was dirty and cluttered. When we arrived the golf cart was not full of gas. I had to text the property manager to fill it. They were, however, great about filling up the tank.

Terrible stay in a dirty house with no heat.

I did not actually stay in the property shown. I needed a house for one additional person. The rental company sent me a different property that would accommodate. The property we rented had no heat in the house which in the state of California means is inhabitable. I was told to use the space heaters on the the closets but k my one at a time. The only door upstairs that leads to the outside had the door knob turned backwards so you could not get out. This is a for hazard and should have been disclosed. The upstairs bathroom has a broken lock that locks people inside until someone comes to open it from the outside. The dish washer overflowed and I was accused of putting dish soap in it when I’m reality it is a problem that is part of past reviews on the home. There had been a party in this house prior and it was not cleaned properly. We found a used knipple cover with hair all over it, confetti and tape everywhere. The couches are disgustingly dirty and so is the carpet. I requested a refund and the management company agreed but never sent the refund and quit responding to my emails.

Our stay in Avalon..

We enjoyed everything overall and the view from Hill top house was phenomenal. Having the cart was an added bonus for our family. Our only disappointment was the dishwasher wasn't in working order and this was not disclosed to us before our stay. We were told there was a Keurig and it was also broken.

**Beautiful but needs supply stock consideration!

Pros: - [ ] Spacious with gorgeous views - [ ] Includes golf cart for 4 - [ ] Comfortable and clean home - [ ] Master bed was comfortable Cons: - [ ] Very limited cookware (no measuring cup), dull knives. - [ ] No dish rack for drying washed dishes - [ ] No dish towels**** only 2 small rolls of paper towels which were used fast with no dish towels. - [ ] Kitchen is spacious but difficult to cook with limited supplies - [ ] Messy storage- drawers and cabinets were filled with cleaning supplies and a junk drawer giving it the feel like people were living in the home and it was not a rental - [ ] Given wrong internet WiFi and code twice. Went a day without WiFi due to Maintenance not being able to come and fix unless everyone was out of property - [ ] No central air or central heating. Ceiling fans and portable space heaters are supplied however - [ ] Bottom line: beautiful spot but needs kitchen stock supply upgrade badly! This was not a budget house ( on the more pricey side) so the expectations were a little higher.
