Garden Cottage 90 - Le cottage de tortue pointue

Garden Cottage 90 Le Tipy Turtle Cottage .... Ce charmant cottage de style maison de ville de 3 chambres, 3. 5 salles de bains est le parfait exemple de la vie côtière! La cuisine du cottage, qui est entièrement équipée d'appareils électroménagers en acier inoxydable Kitchen Aid améliorés avec cuisinière à gaz, d'une machine à café Keurig et d'une machine à café Mr Coffee. Le bar surdimensionné est parfait pour les repas rapides. Le salon spacieux mène au porche filtr��. Hors de la véranda est un patio spacieux, équipé d'un barbecue à gaz et à manger en plein air avec des sièges pour quatre. Ce cottage dispose d'une suite parentale au niveau principal, avec une douche surdimensionnée et une armoire à linge de plain-pied. À la base des escaliers, vous trouverez la demi-baignoire et le placard à linge avec une laveuse et une sécheuse empilées. Au deuxième étage, vous trouverez 2 chambres supplémentaires, chacune avec un lit queen et une salle de bain privée. Chacune de ces chambres donne accès au balcon meublé, idéal pour regarder le lever du soleil. Il y a aussi une chambre à coucher supplémentaire avec lit de jour double avec lit gigogne. Ce cottage comprend un barbecue à gaz, des sièges extérieurs pour 4 personnes, 4 vélos adultes, 2 cannes à pêche, voiturette de plage, chaises de plage.

Accès à la plage: La poursuite du projet de réhabilitation du revêtement de recouvrement de Jekyll Island, dans l’État de Géorgie, a entraîné la perte temporaire de l’accès à la plage de l’eau le long de notre littoral. Il y a toujours un accès à la plage à marée haute, côté terre du revêtement de roche. Nous vous recommandons Driftwood Beach, situé au nord de The Cottages ou à seulement quelques minutes au sud en voiture de la région du parc Great Dunes.

Nous nous excusons pour tout inconvénient que cela pourrait causer pendant votre visite et apprécions votre sous-estimation de l'importance de ce projet.

Jekyll Island Vacation

We had an amazing vacation!! The accommodations were very nice and we really enjoyed our stay. Loved having the bikes to ride and we enjoyed exploring Jekyll. The condo is in the perfect location and accessible to so many amazing things…..beach, pool, Driftwood beach, bike trails amazing time!

Great Place!

Jekyll Island Cottages

Very nice, modern property. Cozy. Bikes very comfortable and fun to use on an island ideal for cruising on a bicycle. Overall, no complaints whatsoever.

Excellent Stay

Our stay at this property was nothing short of amazing! Everything was so clean, spacious, and really set the mood for an exciting trip with family! We also loved having the bikes added in. My family loves to rent bikes to ride around the island. Since they were available for us to use, it was an added bonus!

Great setting and location

I rented this house for my Nephews wedding that took place on Driftwood Beach. This house is gorgeous! I loved that it had an outdoor gas grill. We were able to have some family over for a cookout. I highly recommend renting if you are going to be staying on Jekyll Island.

The wife was very happy

I would most surely stay in this property again. The process of checking in/out was smooth. It was really clean. The pool is within a short walk. It's perfect for kids with teenagers. Parents stay downstairs and the kids had their own indoor and outdoor space.

Beautiful cottage

Spacious cottage with all the new necessities to cook and play. Fire pit, extra bikes, nice patio and plenty of space to enjoy indoor time. We didn’t use the amenities but liked how close we were to driftwood beach. Only complaint is that the driveway and yard were very cramped and all the back areas were facing other condos.

Wonderful house for family vacation

We had a party of 6 including grandparents, parents, and grandchildren. The large walk-in master shower with stone bench seat was perfect for our 95-year old family member. We found the 4 bicycles in the garage storage room and were able to ride all over the island. What a beautiful home and great location! We had everything we needed and more. A bit of a fruit fly problem (which we were warned about), but vinegar traps helped with that. Loved the screened in porch downstairs and unscreened porch upstairs. Highly recommend this property.

Nice place but needs some love

The place was nice but it definitely needs some upgrades for the price. The fridge water filter was out so we had to buy water, the toaster was so old it actually caught fire and had to be thrown out, some of the pots and pans were extremely old and need to be replaced.. the bed frame on one of the beds was loose and had to be tightened.. just little inconveniences that you shouldn’t have to deal. In my opinion, houses are better taken care of when they’re personally rented out vs a company renting them out.

Just what we were looking for

All the reviews were spot on. It was our first vacation not staying in a hotel and after this I don't know if we'd ever do a hotel again. The property was perfect. Kids loved the swimming pool. The kitchen was fully stocked with any kind of dishware you would need which was a pleasant surprise. We were also happy to see how many pillows there were. Not that you think about pillows when choosing a place to stay, but it was definitely a really nice touch. Also, it says 3 br, but there is actually a very small room which has a twin bed and trundle. It was perfect for 2 little kids. Only thing to be aware of is the beach is only accessible during low tide. It's easy enough to look up when low tide is and plan the beach part of the day around that. Overall, I would give the experience 5/5 stars. We're already looking at when we can go back when it's cooler so we can take advantage of the bikes and porches.

Beautiful Spot & Wonderful Home

We were looking for a spot that would be a perfect little get away for the family, and wow did we find the perfect home and location! We've been to Jekyll Island previously, but had stayed in a hotel. We really wanted a house this time, so we could cook or BBQ, walk to the beach, bring our bikes and spend time together as a family in the evenings. This property was beyond my expectations, and I had very high expectations! Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived. The check in process was as smooth as it could possibly be, and the entry was both secure and easy. When we walked in, it was clear that the owners and the management company take a great deal of pride in maintaining and providing a perfect experience. The home was spotlessly clean, with some initial things like garbage bags, soaps, dishwasher tabs and paper goods to get us started. There were linens for all bedrooms including bath & hand towels, sheets, blankets and even extra pillows if needed. You will want to bring your own beach towels, as we did, as they are not provided. There's easy parking for 2 cars in driveway and an attached garage if needed. We kept my bike in the garage along with some of our beach stuff, it was perfect. There's even more things for you when you arrive from a fully stocked kitchen (coffee pot/keurig and toaster, pots, pans, cookie sheet, grill utensils, plenty of plates and cups and mugs and flatware, serving platters and bowls, etc) to a brand new (and VERY nice) washer/dryer, beach chairs, a wagon, 4 beach cruiser bikes and even 2 fishing poles. We didn't use the fishing poles, but they looked brand new, and the wagon was absolutely perfect for putting in our beach gear and heading to the perfect spot! The property description doesn't do this beautiful property full justice :-). There's a beautiful master suit on the main level with a door to the screened in porch and a massive, spa like bathroom and walk in closet. Upstairs are 2 more queen bedrooms with walk in closets and en-suite baths, plus a twin (plus trundle) bedroom that is small but nice and perfect for a kid or teenager who wants their own space. They even have thoughtfully designed top-down/bottom-up shades so you can have privacy while allowing the nice sunshine to come in. Overall, we'd very highly recommend this property for you and your family. We will absolutely look to stay here again in the future! We loved our week away from home in this lovely home :-).

Couples get away

We enjoyed our time. The cottage was not very clean. Dishes were dirty in the cupboards cups and dishes were not clean. Lower bathroom, sink was separated from wall. Upper guest room bath shower curtain very loose.

Perfect spot for our Runcation!

For the past few years, friends from MD and SC get together for an annual Runcation. Even though weather through a wrinkle into our plans and the race was cancelled, this property turned out to be the perfect spot. Great communication made for a seamless check-in process. Everything was as advertised. The property was clean and spacious with a location that is close to everything. Whether walking to Driftwood Beach, biking to Tortuga Jacks, or taking the short drive to the historic district, nothing was too far away. Anyone heading to Jekyll Island should check out this property.

Great location / poor cleanliness

The neighborhood and this cottage itself is very nice. The unit had lots of room, a great patio (the cushions do need to be replaced), and the included bikes and beach chairs were great. The location is perfect and we enjoyed our stay at Jekyll and will definitely come back although we will probably select a different unit. I understand most of these units have a cleaning crew after every visitor. This needs to be addressed by the owner. This cottage was not clean. The showers all had significant hair in the drain from previous guests, there was hair around the toilets on the floor, there were stains on the blankets, crumbs / food in the kitchen drawers, and there was a pair underwear that was left in the closet from a previous guest. For what you pay for the cleaning service, these things should not have been an issue. These were basic cleaning items that were clearly overlooked. As far as communication goes, the owner was responsive before our stay, however, one of the sinks in the master bath did not drain and we called the property manager the first day but never received a call back so the drain issue was not resolved during our stay. As I mentioned earlier, the neighborhood is in a great location and the pool / fitness center are fantastic but we would not come back to this unit due to the cleaning issues.

Family Getaway!

My husband, my five children, my parents and I stayed in this townhouse for our first trip to Jekyll in many years! The place was clean, had everything we needed, spacious, and just a two minute walk to the ocean which was perfect for both our younger children and elderly parents. We had an issue with the refrigerator not staying cold, but we called the after hours number and the property management brought us a working fridge the very next day. We also enjoyed the bikes in the garage as well as beach chairs (we brought our own, but know that next time we won’t need to). Check in and check out was easy and followed with timely emailed receipts, invoices and/or communication!

The condo overall was fabulous The only downside was the fourth bedroom really was an oversized closet. It would be nice if there was a small bureau in the room for storage.

Amazing spring break vacation!

This property was perfectly located just steps away from the beach or the pool. The bikes were a great addition for the teens. So many beaches, put put golf and downtown were easy to get too. Can't wait to visit again!

Wonderful time!

Beautiful house! We had so much fun staying here. We loved the pool and beach access. We are already hoping to stay again in the summer. It is really nice that the three main bedrooms each have their own bathroom.
