Cottage calme cĂŽtĂ© crique sur 2 1/2 acres avec la crique en cours d'exĂ©cution 30 pieds du porche. Lorsque vous passez la porte, de belles Hemlocks et Sweetgum matures vous souhaitent la bienvenue dans notre cabine tranquille. Les bois qui bercent la cabane sur trois cĂŽtĂ©s et la crique Ă  deux pas de notre porche filtrĂ© vous offrent l’occasion idĂ©ale de vous dĂ©tendre et de vous dĂ©tendre en profitant du son du ruisseau Eastatoee qui se prĂ©cipite sur les rochers (pendant que vous dormez dans l’un des trois Les chambres rĂ©cemment rĂ©novĂ©es) vous procureront une des meilleures nuits de sommeil. Profitez de la matinĂ©e avec une tasse de cafĂ© fraĂźchement prĂ©parĂ©e sur le porche oĂč les colibris se rassemblent pour le petit-dĂ©jeuner, accompagnĂ©s du cerf et de la dinde sauvage qui leur sont souvent consacrĂ©s. Faites une courte promenade vers la cĂ©lĂšbre et spectaculaire Twin Falls, ou passez la journĂ©e Ă  vous Ă©clater dans la crique ou Ă  lire dans nos chaises longues d'Ă©poque. Long Shoals Roadside Park est Ă  seulement 10 minutes en voiture de la cabine sur la route pittoresque Hwy. 11 oĂč vous pourrez profiter de glisser sur un gros rocher dans un ruisseau de montagne cool. Partez en excursion de nuit Ă  la pĂȘche Ă  la truite sur le lac Jocassee avec James Couch, car il se trouve Ă  seulement 30 minutes de route du chalet. Rendez-vous dans les caisses pittoresques ou dans les Highlands, rĂ©putĂ©es pour leurs boutiques, ou emmenez les enfants faire du rafting sur la riviĂšre Nantahala, faire de l'Ă©quitation dans les Ă©curies de la forĂȘt de Pisgah ou faire une promenade en train Ă  vapeur dans les Great Smokies Mountains de Bryson City. Les amateurs de sport peuvent facilement voyager pour «gagner» les Clemson Tigers ou les Furman Paladins vers une victoire! À l’automne, promenez-vous sur la route bleue Rigde Parkway pour admirer le magnifique feuillage ou faites du ski Ă  Sapphire ou Maggie Valley en hiver. Que vous choisissiez de passer vos journĂ©es dans notre cabine confortable ou si vous souhaitez vous aventurer dans des excursions quotidiennes, nous pensons que nous avons fourni l'expĂ©rience cabine parfaite.
Nous n'avons pas de WiFi ni de service cellulaire directement Ă  la cabine. Vous pouvez retourner un peu en arriĂšre vers l’autoroute 11 pour pouvoir envoyer des textos. Nous avons un tĂ©lĂ©phone Ă  la maison si nĂ©cessaire en cas d'urgence ou tout simplement en appelant la famille. Nous pensons que c’est un vĂ©ritable moyen de s’évader
et détendez-vous de votre vie quotidienne.

This property and house were perfect for a quiet family vacation. The kids loved the creek and the swing, and there was plenty of good dry wood for evening fires. Also the only rental I’ve stayed at with properly sharp kitchen knives!

This cabin is truly lovely with a bit of nostalgia of my youth. Every item you could think of was available. If you want to “be present” and enjoy the nature around you (babbling stream, short walk to Twin Falls & numerous waterfalls in the area) this cabin is highly recommended. Melanie was wonderful with communicating with us with prompt responses..p.s. if you love to drive sport cars, this place is ideal for nearby “twisting” roads..

Very welcoming, always responsive. We had a wonderful stay here. The peaceful woods, the sound of the creek, and the winding mountain roads made this a truly special getaway. Something nice about going outdoors early morning and not hearing anything but critters. We loved watching the wildlife and just slowing down for a few days. It was exactly what we needed.

We had a great time on our 2 night trip. Wsh we had more time there. The cabin was so clean and homey. Loved the creek outside and the waterfalls that are within walking distance were fabulous!We didnt have any issues while we were there so we didn't have to contact the host during the trip. But we did text before we got there and the host was very quick to respond. All in all we had a WONDERFUL experience there and would definitely go back.

Fantastic home for a family getaway. Loved the large table/bar in the kitchen and plenty of comfy beds. Close to three different state parks for hiking and lake fun, and of course the waterfalls and creeks right at the property. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed staying here, it is a great place. The location is beautiful, in the country, the creek running by, we enjoyed sitting on the screened in porch, roast marshmallows/hot dogs on the fire, and fishing in the creek (which was successful, but mostly small suckers). The house was spacious for the 5 of us. The home reminded me of my grandmothers house. We walked from the house to the waterfall which was lovely and spent the day at Lake Jocassee. Would stay here again.

We had a delightful stay here! The cabin is so well stocked & thoughtfully arranged with ample seating, inside & out - would be great for a couple of larger families to enjoy together. The highlight for us was the creek - such lovely sounds to enjoy all day and night. Our senior dog loved being in the creek; it was his favorite place. Twin Falls was a fun outing - loved it being so close. We enjoyed all the hummingbirds and butterflies, too. Melanie is a great host, so responsive and kind. We’d definitely come back!

This was an excellent place to stay. So peaceful right next to the stream. Very near a beautiful waterfall. Hostess was very helpful. Although cell service & internet was very spotty in the area, the owners give you WiFi access. My granddaughter & I had a wonderful time. Very clean, very relaxing

The cabin is just beautiful in such a remote place very nice, beds are comfortable, my husband caught some brook trout, we had a great time, the only negative thing was i had to wash every dish we used, but there are so many to keep track of for the cleaning person, nothing needed ty so much

I can’t say enough good things about this sweet cottage. The creek running through the front yard, the fire pit, the fact that it was the owner’s grandparents and there were signs everywhere of many years of love lived out here.. butterflies, hummingbirds and the sounds of rushing water.. I didn’t want to leave! My family loved it :) and our LSU Tigers beat Clemson so.. it was a win/win

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

My grandfather meet my grandmother in Pickens S.C and married her. They moved to Florida. All her family still lived in S.C. so he purchased this home for her to be able
to go back and visit her family. When they go older he passed it down to my father and mother where we enjoyed many summers vacations. As my children were growing up I took them up there every summer. I have never missed a summer up at our home since I was six and hope to be able to do this till I have to pass our beautiful cabin down to my children.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

The cabin is located within 30 feet of the creek and Twin Falls is in walking distance from our front door. The falls have a parking area if you would like to drive around the corner to
the falls instead of walking. The valley has beautiful views of the mountains. In Pickens (30 minutes away) on Wednesday they have Jockey Lot flea market just like the old fashion ones, lots of antique things and many different thing that you don't come across at regular flea markets. There is a nice park just 10 Minutes down the road, call Loan Shoal. were you can sit on the big bold rocks or slide down the long rock in to the big pool of cold water at the bottom.
