Revenez à un rinçage rafraîchissant dans la douche extérieure et nettoyez la prise du jour à la table de nettoyage du poisson à l'extérieur. Installez les serviettes et les maillots de bain dans le lave-linge / sèche-linge pour rentrer à la maison et détendez-vous devant le téléviseur grand écran tout en sentant les merveilleux arômes créés par le chef de la famille dans la cuisine à proximité. Mangez à la table à manger ou au bar du petit-déjeuner adjacent, tous deux avec vue sur l'océan. Sortez sur la terrasse ensoleillée pour profiter des rayons du soleil ou admirez les étoiles, ou détendez-vous dans le bain à remous pour 6 personnes offrant une vue sur l'océan. House was great for the family and I only downfall was the ac stoped working on our 2nd day but the property manager had us window units to cool the place off. Overall a nice place to stay!

The property was great. There were some "prickers" right by the house on the way to the beach so we would wear shoes until we got to the sand path.

Fun Trip

Everything was very nice. Clean, spacious. Bathroom alittle small for multiple people. Make sure to wear shoes until you get to the sand so your feet don’t get pricked. Close to many good eats!!

Wonderful stay despite lots of rain.

Everything as listed. Very much enjoyed stay. Called property manager when we couldn’t get TV to work and never heard back. Called twice. WI-FI works great.

The home is lovely. The location is great! The only problem we had was with the air filter. It was disgustingly dirty and had mold. Some of our family got sick from this.

Just what we needed.

This small place was exactly perfect for our little family of four (two parents and two toddlers). We liked that it was all on one floor so we could easily keep an eye on the kids. It's so close to the beach that it is easy to just pop over even when you don't feel like you have much time, or pop back if someone needs the bathroom or a sweatshirt or something. The hot tub right outside the master suite was perfect for some adult evening relaxation without being far from the kids, and the view from the deck made it feel like we were at the beach all the time, even when we were playing or eating at the house. My only complaint is the burrs in the grass on the way to the beach. Those things are vicious! We ended up wearing thick boots and carrying kids across the grass until we got to the sand because those things get you in sneakers or sandals.

Great little house on the beach!

We really enjoyed our stay! We had a group of four people and we stayed for 7 nights. In my opinion, a group larger than four would be tough because there are only two bathrooms and one of them is an on-suite in one of the rooms. The second bathroom that most people would be sharing is very small - not a deal breaker, but just an FYI for larger groups. The house was super cute and had a beachy feel. The pictures in the listing are very accurate. The hot tub was great and there is plenty of outside seating. Definitely bring some citronella candles to avoid getting attacked by mosquitoes at night! The house is two dunes away from the beach (one dune is a little steep) which is just a few minutes walking. They left us really nice beach chairs and a huge umbrella for the beach which was nice! There are several restaurants in the area - the Mad Crabber was our favorite and it is super close to the house. The supermarket, Food Lion, is just a few minutes down the road. There are several water sport rental places nearby, too. Overall, I highly recommend this house. It is a great little beach house and we enjoyed our stay. If you book through Vrbo, expect the management company (Surf or Sound Realty) to reach out to you separately, as you will need to sign a lease to confirm your stay. They also ask for a security deposit. I recommend just booking this house directly through Surf or Sound Realty to avoid the Vrbo fee... A few things we didn't like were: When we arrived one of the bathrooms wasn't super clean - there was dirt and dark strands of hair all on the floor and in the bathtub. Maybe it was from the housekeeper? Not sure. The pillows were probably our biggest complaint, they were very flat (not much cushion at all) and old and need to be replaced. Also, the queen beds aren't super comfortable for a long stay and the bed sheets/pillow cases were very cheap/rough. For those who need a comfy bed to get a good nights sleep, I highly recommend bringing your own bed sheets, pillow cases and pillows. If you do that you should be good to go!

Steps to the beach

Great location. Plenty of room. We were 4 people and we each got our own room. Plenty of drawer and closet space. This house is right on the beach access which is SO great. It's isn't super busy so you don't have to be worried about people coming and going all the time. No worries there. You can walk or bike to EVERYTHING you need. Great spot. Avon is the perfect goldi locks town, not too big, not too small.
