AMOUR AMOUR AMOUR offers One Spacious Studio with magnificent water views from the Patio. It has a lovely cozy relaxing, private Patio space and barbecuing. Lawn chairs to relax and take in the peaceful surrounding feel the breeze and listen to the exotic sounds of wind chimes. Twizzy Charger (electric car) on site, take a beautiful stroll on our historic railway trail, bus routes are nearby, walking distance to our lovely pink beaches and dine directly under the beams of Gibb’s Hill Lighthouse an operating lighthouse (oldest cast iron lighthouse in the western hemisphere). All of AMOUR AMOURAMOUR’s amenities are enhanced by a friendly and attentive service host [Claudette].

I was fascinated by the bed and breakfast places I saw in Vermont while I was in university. After over 33 years in Bermuda's public service, first as a police officer and later as a senior manager and prompted by the sudden and unexpected death of my mother earlier this year,I decided to make a reality of my dream of owning a bed and breakfast myself.

Wonderful spot

Excellent little spot to spend time in Bermuda, close to the beaches, easy access to the buses and railway trail.Claudette is a wonderful host who helped made the stay comfortable and welcoming.Highly recommend.

This was our favourite stay. Claudette is an incredibly attentive host. She was always available to answer questions. She gave us excellent recommendation like getting a bus passes for easy island travel and we saved a ton of money because of it seeing that car rentals are not a thing in Bermuda. She recommended excellent restaurants and attractions too. Her place is top notch. It has all the amenities you can need in a home away from home. It is super clean and beautiful with clean smelling linens and not even one bug in sight (something that is so important to us when traveling). It is located in a great neighborhood walking distance to the best beaches in Bermuda and restaurants. I highly recommend staying here. Five stars in our books. We will definitely be back!!

Amour is amazing!

Amour is an amazing place to stay, exactly as described in the listing (actually even better). The Location is fantastic, easy access to restaurants and a short walk to the railway trail or the beach. I can't say enough about the host, Claudette goes out of her way to make you feel at home and is available for whatever you may need! I highly recommend staying with Claudette at Amour! I will always try to book her place when I return to Bermuda!

Great view and host

Ms. Claudette welcomed me as I arrived. She showed me all the amenities and gave instructions on how to use AC and TV. This was a most pleasant stay with outside partial views of the ocean on 2 sides. I would definitely stay here again.

Bermuda is a unique and vibrant place and staying at Amour Amour Amour places you at the center of this cultural experience. Our stay was enhanced by the stunning views of the lighthouse and surrounding ocean and bay. But the most delightful aspect of our stay was experiencing the hospitality of our host, Ms. Claudette. She was so warm and welcoming, providing guidance and support to feel at home. The charms of the comfy bed, homey decor, interesting wind chimes, all contributed to a truly unique experience. The location was convenient - a short walk to the bus stop provided access to travel across the island. We were tempted to rent one of the mini electric cars, but the bus and ferry system was comprehensive enough to meet our needs, but the true bonus was observing some of the friendliest people in the world. The vast majority of local folks say “good afternoon everyone” as they board and strike up friendly conversations. This was certainly not something we’ve experienced in the U.S. Bermuda is stunningly beautiful in so many ways - give yourself the gift of experiencing the beauty with Ms. Claudette and Amour Amour Amour!

This was our first time in Bermuda, and while the location of the property was lovely, there were several aspects of the stay that didn’t meet our expectations.The host, Claudette, lives on-site, which I had gathered from other reviews, but I was surprised to learn she expected to personally greet us upon arrival, especially after a late-night flight. It would have been helpful to have clearer communication in advance about the check-in process.The listing notes access to a washer and dryer, but in practice, laundry is done by the host rather than being self-serve. Similarly, the outdoor space (yard/garden with ocean views) was not available to us during our stay, as Claudette indicated it was being used by other guests. It would have been helpful if these limitations had been clarified in the listing.Unfortunately, we also had a personal interaction that made the stay uncomfortable. On our second day, Claudette confronted me in a raised tone about what she perceived as rudeness because I hadn’t greeted her while on a work call. While she clearly cares about her role as a host, the interaction felt unnecessarily confrontational and left us feeling uneasy for the remainder of the trip.That said, Claudette did help us book a local BBQ experience, which we appreciated. Overall, travelers who prefer a more hands-on hosting style may enjoy this property, but those looking for more independence or privacy may want to consider this when booking.
