Le Bungalow à Potawatomi State Park est un chalet récemment mis à jour à quelques minutes de tout ce que Door County a à offrir! Situé sur un terrain boisé privé de 12 acres entouré de terrains vacants, vous pouvez profiter de la paix et de la tranquillité du comté de Door! Le parc d'État de Potawatomi est à seulement environ 5 minutes à pied et propose une rampe de mise à l'eau, du ski de fond, de la natation, des kayaks, de la randonnée, du vélo, de la motoneige et plus encore! Le Cottage est à environ 2,5 km du centre-ville de Sturgeon Bay ainsi! (Plus de photos bientôt!) Juste devant votre porte se trouve 12 acres de bois qui offrent des sentiers pédestres partout. Il y a un silo sur la propriété et beaucoup d'animaux sauvages. Profitez des soirées près du foyer ou simplement vous détendre sur le nouveau porche. Le chalet a été récemment mis à jour avec de nouveaux tapis, de la peinture, un revêtement composite autour du porche, du revêtement, du toit, des fenêtres et plus encore! L'AC central est tout neuf en 2019 et nous avons ajouté un système de filtration d'eau avec adoucisseur d'eau et filtre en fer 2019. La maison propose une télévision à écran plat de 55 pouces avec toutes les chaînes locales, Blue Ray Player et c'est une télévision intelligente pour les capacités de streaming! Nous avons Internet Hughes Net pour vos besoins Internet sans fil. Il y a un gril à charbon et une cuisine bien équipée. Asseyez-vous et profitez du foyer électrique tout en regardant votre film préféré ou tout simplement en profitant de la faune par la fenêtre! Que vous souhaitiez simplement vous évader ou profiter de ce que Door County a à offrir, l'emplacement du Bungalow à Potawatomi State Park vous offre toutes les options!

Property is great with wildlife everywhere. Was able to watch turkeys and deer in the field next door and even saw some on the trails they have on property. Also came across some blue heron and a pheasant.

Great Family Vacation

It had everything we needed! Kids enjoyed the foosball and ping pong table, we had beds for everyone and could cook our meals easily there. It was so convenient to have easy access to Door County and just have a relaxing vacation! Thanks!

Our check-in was easy. We relaxed in the living room until bedtime. It is a nice area, open to the kitchen and table. The beds were comfortable. We especially enjoyed the large deck, making conversation easy. The serenity was just what we needed, a get away from the city. We used the grill and had a fire in the pit every night. We will come back again.

The perfect setting

This truly was a perfect setting. Just far enough away from the daily grind. Offering seclusion with paths to enjoy the woods right on the property. Right around the corner from a State Park. Even our dog had a wonderful time exploring. We enjoyed the firepit and grilling as well. The only change I would make would be steps off the back of the deck. The local meat market, Marchant's is a definite place to get your steak from!

Nice and secluded

It is a nice place, other than the grass on the paths and yard werent mowed!! Couldn't really use the paths to let ny dogs play, thats why we rented it, it was as dry a as fart??? I own a lawn service a n d dont under stand was this wasnt done.

The property was quiet, clean. I'd suggest putting a bath mat for the bathtub, one of us fell in the tub. The cooking pans/fry pans could be replaced, but understand that they've been used and probably abused.

Needs a little updating

Need new mattresses and living room furniture. Trees around the deck need trimming. Carport would be nice. Steps off the back deck would be nice. Front steps a little awkward. Walking path (concrete) to the front of the house would be nice. Need lots more gravel on the road to the house to fill in the potholes

Little bungalow in the woods

We had a fun week exploring door county using this little bungalow as our home base. It was cozy and came with many amenities. The area was very peaceful. It fit our needs well. We liked the easy check in and great communication. However, some of the furniture (couch, bunk bed mattresses) can definitely be updated and the wifi was slow. With the amount of rain (not their fault), the tall grass was not able to be mowed thus we could not explore the trails around the property as we had hoped with our pup. Also it was a bummer there were so many mosquitoes that it was impossible to spend anytime outside, despite all the big spray we brought.

Serenity with a view!

Check in was easy. NOT easy for someone who has trouble walking or going up stairs. Short walk across the grass to get to the stairs that lead up to the main door. Fully stocked kitchen with all needed utensils. Stackable washer/dryer. Couch/Loveseat could use updating due to worn springs. Couldn't find any walking paths due to tall grass. About 15 minute drive to Sturgeon Bay. Easy to get to. If you want peace and quiet it's a great place. Sun rises in the front of the house in the morning and sets in the back. Lots of wildlife. We had a short but nice stay.

Family Vacation

The steps leading in are definitely not up to code and hard to navigate. There was a Wasp nest under the siding right by the door and they were entering and excited constantly. Apparently, the cleaning crew did not allow enough time to clean because the dryer was still running when we got there so I had to finish the laundry and 2 of the beds were not made. Kitchen needs editing, expired food left in cabinets, pots and pans falling out of cabinets (I needed to organize in order to find anything), dirt between stove and frig on floor. Basement stairs not up to code and held up with concert blocks. It was definitely not newly remodeled and most of the closet doors did not function properly. 3 inches of foam added to top of mattress was not comfortable to sleep on. Mosquitos were so bad you were unable to be outside at night.

Cabin not as clean as advertised Needs a lot of maintenance and TLC

When we first arrived at check in time the cabin had not yet been cleaned from previous guests, this was an immediate disappointment for a first impression. We called the owner and he quickly came and cleaned it so we had to leave and go get dinner. None of the smoke detectors had batteries or were in working order being that my father was FDNY this was another huge red flag. The blinds in the guest twin bedroom were broken and a piece was missing so light came right in your eyes in the morning. The house was extremely dusty and our son had an asthma attack in the middle of the night and he got in the shower to help him breathe better. Turns out the overflow drain in the tub had no drain pipe connected to it and once the water gets to the drain it pours onto the floor in the basement which caused water to go everywhere and we spent an hour cleaning it up and then having to wash every towel in the cabin. That we used to clean it up. Furniture is old and leather is ripped. Rat poison traps are located all over the basement by the ping pong table which is dangerous for small children and pets. Location is close to lake Potawatomi and downtown Sturgeon bay. We made the best of it but for the amount of money we spent to stay there in comparison to the many cabins we have rented over the years this place was a huge let down.
