Les vues sont l'essence de la maison Sajama (anciennement la maison Hall); la vallée de l'Ouray et les paysages montagneux saisissants des chaßnes de Cimmaron et de San Juan et les 14 000 sommets majestueux.

La vue depuis le salon et le pont avant est apaisante et magnifique, à l'arriÚre, vous regardez vers le nord et Grand Mesa. Vous pouvez simplement regarder la journée passer, tandis que les nuages dansent avec la beauté qui vous entoure, les couleurs jouent à travers les montagnes et la vallée devant votre porte d'entrée, et la nuit, la Voie lactée traverse le ciel au-dessus de la maison.

La retraite de chalet de montagne confortable et isolée de 850 pieds carrés est située sur l'escarpement de Log Hill Village, à 1000 pieds au-dessus de la ville de Ridgway.

Parfait pour une escapade romantique ou assez spacieux pour une réunion de famille.

Deux chambres, une salle de bains et demie et un canapé-lit confortable font de l'espace de couchage pour 6 personnes. Cuisine entiÚrement équipée, lave-vaisselle, laveuse et sécheuse pour un séjour pratique avec une distance de conduite facile à Ridgway, Ouray et Montrose.

Golf, 4x4, jeeps, randonnée pédestre, ski de fond, escalade de glace de classe mondiale, sources chaudes et de nombreuses autres activités et vues abondent. Telluride, avec son ski de poudreuse de classe mondiale, est à moins d'une heure de route.

La décoration moderne et décorée avec goût et les vues grandioses rendent le séjour aussi agréable que de se lancer dans une aventure alpine dans cette cabane isolée mais accessible.

Cozy rustic cabin with a million dollar view. Our second time staying here and enjoyed our time very much. We did some of the hikes right in Loghill Village with our dog which were very nice. Highly recommend this special cabin!

Very nice layout for property with awesome overlook of Ridgway. Area is nice after day of day trips, trail near place to walk pups that has nice overlook, and very quite backroads. Night sky is very pretty and the moon really lights up area as very dark if not used to that. Would stay again.

Great views of the mountains and Ridgway. The neighborhood was nice and easy to navigate. There were always a lot of deer to see. The house was small but very comfortable. Outside dining on the deck with the spectacular view was a big plus.

Perfect for family of 3

This was our 2nd time staying at Sajama House and everything about it wonderful. Size is perfect for our family of three, neighborhood is quiet with plenty of hiking trails with amazing views. The view from deck is amazing especially at sunset. Great location; 15 min to Ridgway, 30 to Ouray and 45ish to Telluride or Montrose. Very clean and a well stocked kitchen with everything we needed. Would highly reccomend.

Spectacular views of Ouray

Had a wonderful stay in Ridgway. The views are magnificent. Can see Ouray, Mt Sneffles, and the Cimarron Range from the balcony. House was beautiful and comfortable.

We love this home!

This is a wonderful, cozy cabin-like home up on a huge hill with a 180 view of the San Juans. We’ve stayed here three times and will be back next year. It’s simply the beset for anyone wanting to be far from the maddening crowd but find civilization a short drive away.

Cozy cabin with great views!

The cabin was super clean and well stocked. Just the right size for our family of 4. Check in was easy and the owners were very friendly and quick to respond if we had any questions. We loved sitting on the deck taking in the beautiful views of the mountains. The neighborhood was quiet and we saw lots of wildlife while driving to and from the cabin. It is about a 15-20 minute drive up the mountain from Ridgway, so factor that in if you're planning on visiting other towns during your stay. It didn't bother us, we enjoyed being away from the busier areas...and the views are worth it!

Clean and Comfortable Stay in Ridgway

Our family enjoyed the stay in this clean 2 bedroom, 1 full bathroom (plus extra toilet and sink) Loghill Village home. The beds were comfortable, kitchen was stocked well, and even the garage is heated and cooled. Our teenage son enjoyed the loft and extra bed above the kitchen. The Wi-Fi connection is great and my husband didn’t have any issues keeping up with work or video calls when necessary. Communication with the owners and the property manager was great and we appreciated their quick responses.

Amazing View

The cabin was comfortable and clean with a well stocked kitchen. The view was incomparable. We loved sitting out on the patio and enjoying our meals with a gorgeous backdrop of the San Juan range.

Perfect place for us

We were a family a five with 2 teens and ten year old. The cabin was the perfect fit. It's not big but it was big enough. The views are amazing just like many other reviewers have mentioned. It was really hot a couple of days during our stay and the air conditioning was really nice to have. The kitchen included enough dishes and spices so we could cook some meals there. It was nice to have 1.5 baths too! No issues with the wifi. There were some games and books that we used also. Most days we were out exploring nearby towns of Telluride and Ouray, but we also went to Ridgeway a few times. There are so many hiking trails in the area which is mostly what we did. We did a couple of hikes right in the neighborhood which were very nice as well. Most people are really friendly in the neighborhood and almost everyone waves. One thing I really enjoyed was that we saw lots of wildlife. Lots of birds around the place including frequent hummingbird visits to the feeder. We saw a mule deer with antlers in velvet walk across the driveway one evening. Also, elk and deer on the drive in from town every day. I think this was a perfect place to stay and experience the beauty of SW Colorado with the snow capped mountains and peaceful valleys. Absolutely enjoyed out entire visit. One last note: Our host (Carol) was very responsive to any questions we had. Also, the local caretaker (Lisa) was there when we needed her (accidently locked ourselves out one day).

Cozy, clean with spectacular views

Everything was wonderful, especially relaxing out on the deck enjoying the beautiful San Juan mountain range. We had our dog so we made sure we cleaned up upon departure including shaking out the rug, vacuuming and cleaning the home all around. I wish they had more pantry space and an oven, otherwise a perfect vacation.

WOW!!!!

This place couldn't be in a more perfect spot. The views from the deck are spot on! The house had plenty of room and very comfortable with everything we needed. The area is majical!!! Short drive to Ouray and Telluride. Hiking everywhere. Hosts very accomodating and quick to respond. Absolutely want to go back!!!

Awesome

Loved staying in this cabin. Well kept. Cozy. Had everything we needed. And the views are beautiful. Many hummingbirds hanging around. My only negative is the location is a long drive from anything. While it is a beautiful drive, just be aware of the added time. We ended up staying in towns for early dinners rather than making the round trip drive twice.

Thanks for your interest in visiting Sajama House. We are originally from Colorado and Bolivia. Carol grew up in Oruro near the 21,463 foot (6,542 m) Sajama peak, Bolivia’s highest mountain. The name Sajama House reflects the awe inspiring views of the San Juans. When we are not in Colorado, we live and work improving public health in Africa.

The views from the living room, and front deck are calming and beautiful, out the back, you look to the north and Grand Mesa. You can simply watch the day go by, as the clouds dance with 14,000 peaks, colors play across the mountains and valley out your front door, and at night the Milky Way crosses the sky above the house..
