Seaside Vacation Homes propose cinquante des maisons les plus propres et les mieux entretenues dans une gamme de prix différents de notre collection. We loved the view of the beach from the family room with the fire place! We had a great time playing air hockey in the evenings and great access to the boardwalk. Would stay here again for sure.

My husband & I, our daughter & teen granddaughter had a wonderful time at Once Upon a Tide. Three bedrooms with comfy beds & their own bath was perfect. The view from 3 big windows in the front room was beautiful! The TV wouldn't work when we arrived & one phone call was all that was needed to get us set up.The stairs coming up from the parking area to the main floor were pretty steep but luckily there was a gate on either side of the fenced front yard (which was perfect for our dog!) that led to the cars much easier. Everything we wanted to do was within walking distance. Thanks for a GREAT time!!

The communications between us and SVH was great ! It’s a shame we didn’t have some sort of shampoo in the bathrooms. Also the dishwasher bottom rack had half its rollers missing which made it a pain to load. The weather was fantastic. Everything in the house was very clean and functional.

Right on The Promenade path

This home was perfect for my family and we could have fit a few extra bodies, had we needed to.The view from the living room is amazing. Likewise, the small deck facing the ocean and small gated yard were awesome amenities.We easily walked to the beach and had a great time while here.

Location was amazing.Perfect for our small pet as well. We parked our car and walked everywhere.We were told the property slept 8.We had 6 and welcomed an additional family member for one of the nights.Sadly, the bed option for the 7 and 8th guests are single cots that wouldn’t stay upright.That guest slept on the floor in the basement.Not ideal. I wouldn’t advertise this property sleeps 8.We arrived at the property following a funeral and didn’t see all of the paperwork we were apparently supposed to fill out.We were startled to pounding on the door for this paperwork.Kitchen desperately needs updating but is very well stocked.Unfortunately the dishwasher didn’t work and given the timing of our discovery, it made sense to just hand wash during our stay instead of spending a day of our rental while maintenance tried to fix. Property management was very attentive because we needed to make multiple calls. The front door code wouldn’t always work but come to find out the door is old and doesn’t always latch completely. The CO2 alarms chirped the first 24 hrs but maintenance again came and quickly replaced batteries. All things that just happen but unfortunate for us. To no fault of the owner, the homeless situation in seaside seems to have increased and one tried to break through the front gate late one evening approaching my daughter on the porch aggressively as she let our dog out to potty. We had to call the police to get this person to leave (appeared to be on drugs).

Wonderful location!

Our family enjoyed our stay in Seaside! The house was perfect for our teenagers and grandpa also came along for the trip. There was plenty of room to spread out , 3 full bedrooms and bathrooms along with couches and cots if needed.the kitchen and dining room had everything we needed . The view was amazing, directly on the promenade overlooking the dunes and beach , we walked to the beach several times a day and we were far enough from the hustle and bustle of downtown seaside at this location , but all the action of seaside was just a 15 minute walk down the promenade.perfect!!

Perfect location

We have stayed at this house and the one right next door. I love being on the prom but closer to the end. House was wonderful. It is an older house but that is the charm of it. Furniture and beds were comfortable. It was the perfect house for our family. My teen and her friend had the entire downstairs while my elementary school chid, husband, self and our dog had the upstairs. Communication with property manager was so easy and i appreciated them calling me after booking.

Perfect Birthday Weekend!

We had an amazing stay at the Once Upon a Tide! Our family loves the ocean and this was the perfect home away from home to celebrate our special needs daughter's birthday. Seaside Vacation Homes, Inc's communication was great from booking to check-out and the process was seamless. I felt very taken care of! They even had a signed birthday card waiting for our daughter when we arrived! The picture window is a living work of art and gave us a beautiful view of the stormy ocean! We had plenty of room for our family of 8 and our grand-dog, Goose. The kitchen had all the cookware, serving ware and gadgets we needed for our meals together at the table. We loved that all of us had a seat at the table when we ate and played games. The living room was cozy and comfortable and perfect for sitting down for a few games of Mario Kart Grand Prix (we brought our Switch, just in case we got stuck in the weather) and watching "The Goonies" movie The night before our adventure to Astoria, OR. The fireplace in the living room was fabulous when we needed to warm up after our adventures on the beach. We experienced small hail balls while walking he beach!The extras like dog waste bags, sand toys for the kids and outdoor activity options were great. We will be booking again!

Awfully furnished, mold in basement

Stay at this property ruined our Seaside vacation. This was very disappointing and needless to say upsetting to our family. The furniture belongs to or is bought from a Thrift store and the basement is damp and moldy, making one bedroom unusable. Everything in this house is shabby and poorly kept. I recommend removing this property from the VRBO listing and have asked for a refund for our stay.

Paying the cost for a reliable base line Ford Sedan and expecting it to perform as a Ferrari isn’t really a fair review…This property is a wonderful cottage that meets a price point and customer base looking for this style of cottage home. We emphatically disagree that the home is not maintained properly. It has forced air and heat that has always been left on in the winter under our management. Additionally carpets and upholstery are professionally machined cleaned with additional topical sanitizers bi-annually. This property has been a beach rental for almost 18 years and has a wonderful group of families who stay with us there annually as "their" beach house who love it as it is alongside the affordability it offers for a wonderful ocean view and onsuite bathrooms. Given it is not a new construction (built in the 50's) the home reaches the market about 30% below the price point of new construction homes and offers a charm and layout hard to find in our market. Furniture and furnishings are updated and inline with guest feedback and total price point in mind so as not to too drastically offset the cost of our repeat guests. 2017 NW bath tub was refinished and the kitchen floor was updated along with new designer lighting for the living room, new flat screen in living room and Tv in basement living room updated. 2016 new oven and linen package were added to the property. We cycle out furniture every 4-6 years and expect in the next two years those will be updated as they were last done new about 2014-15 new from our local furniture store and the property is slated for a new 40k exterior and window package this fall. Cottage Beach homes on the coast that are older in age with furnished basements will have the aroma of the beach. We suggest moving forward Nalini search out homes in the 700-1200/nt range that are new construction. Best of luck to you Nalini
