Nouveau chalet spacieux dans un quartier calme et haut de gamme à quelques pas des célÚbres murs de Chine. L'unité est détachée de la maison principale avec sa propre entrée privée. Il comprend un patio gazonné privé avec un arbre plumeria. Parking couvert juste à cÎté de la porte d'entrée. Vous serez à quelques minutes de la plage, y compris la baie d'Hanauma, les supermarchés, le cinéma, les restaurants dont les Roys d'origine, les transports en commun, les parcs, les activités de sports océaniques, la randonnée, le shopping et bien plus encore.

Cozy and wonderful

Mell’s Place is located in a quiet and nice neighborhood. I enjoyed taking short walks to China Wall and Koke Beach in early morning. Park. Very peaceful! It is a special place to enjoy serene ocean view and relaxing time. Thank you so much.

Save time to appreciate this space

This is a lovely space. The bed is firm and comfortable, and the bathroom is spacious. The lanai is a great place to have breakfast in the morning or a cup of tea in the late afternoon. Mel anticipates almost every guest need, including having a binder of manuals for the many appliances. There is a lot to see in Hawaii, but you will want to save time just to be in the cottage.

Quiet, clean, and comfortable

This was by far my favorite Vrbo we have stayed in. The location was perfect and close to restaurants and shopping but in a quiet beautiful neighborhood. Mel literally thought of everything you would possibly need for your home away from home. China wall is a quick 5 min walk from the house and we enjoyed daily walks to see the waves. The bed and pillows were so comfortable and I slept so good the whole week. The house has a private entrance and parking spot that is under their deck so the owners little dog Jerry would sometimes say hi from the deck above when we would come home. I miss Jerry!! We would definitely stay here again!!

Oahu Week

The apartment is lovely and the host is responsive to questions. Everything we needed and a lovely location to explore Honolulu and the eastern and north costs. Exercise buffs will enjoy Koko Head hike and path over Hanauma Bay, both accessible on foot with a little extra time/effort. Having a car makes it that much easier.

Outstanding!

This place was absolutely perfect! Location was central to everything but far enough away you really felt remote. The hosts were wonderful. I would go back anytime! They didn't miss a beat with the accommodations-top notch!

Hawaii Vacation

We had a wonderful time in Hawaii and loved the cottage. We had everything we needed and Mel was just a text away if we needed anything or had questions. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Hawaii for vacation. We also will recommend this place to anyone vacationing there.

Absolutely loved Mel’s place in Hawaii Kai

Where to start as everything was as advertised at Mel’s beautiful home. The home in about two blocks from the ocean and you can hear the waves at night with the windows open. Close to Costco and many shopping centers as well as Hanauma Bay and Koko head crater trail. Thanks again Mel! Hope to come back to your wonderful home in the future. Chad & Nicole.

Great Place

Great Place. Nice neighbourhood. Close to all amenities and close to great beaches and scenic lookouts. Layout of rental property was fantastic and spacious and provided with everything you need to cook and store your own food. Highly recommend and would definitely rent again.

Could Not Ask For More

The property is spacious and comfortable for two persons. The location of the property was ideal for our purposes in that it is in a quiet relatively high end neighbourhood close to windward island beaches and a short drive into Honolulu. The apartment is well equipped for eating in and relaxing. The clothes washer and dryer was handy. The space for car parking is very convenient. The owner is very friendly and helpful.

An amazing property!

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. Great, safe location. Absolutely loved it! Away from the hustle and bustle but still close enough for quick drives to key locations. Beautiful views from property including view of ocean.

Wonderful place to come home to.

Having lived in Hawaii Kai previously, it was nice to come back to. Mel's cottage was very comfortable and inviting and felt like home away from home. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay on that side of the island.

Destination wedding stay

We stayed at this lovely location for a family wedding, and everything was perfect. Check-in and out was as easy as could be. The place is spacious, fresh, and neat. The location was great for us, and the short walk down to the water was a plus we hadn't anticipated.

Perfect rental

This was a perfect place to stay for our honeymoon. The property was clean and welcoming and had everything we needed to have a wonderful stay. The personal touches from the owner made our stay that much more special. Check in was flawless and the owner was available if we needed anything but was not intrusive. The location was beautiful and very convenient as it was close to restaurants, stores and a brewery plus easy to navigate around the island. I highly recommend this property!

Fabulous place to stay!

We stayed in this cottage while new windows were being installed in our apartment; it was a two week installation so we had an extended experience on the property. First of all, the cottage is located in a high-end neighborhood and a short block from the ocean (great for ocean and sunset-watching but not for swimming). The house is quiet, safe and very-well furnished with what is needed to make your stay comfortable. In fact, we were surprised that the unit included so many amenities. We were very spoiled with the big, beautiful shower that most people dream about but never experience. The cottage was about two miles from our apartment so it was very convenient for us as we were familiar with the neighborhood. Out-of-town visitors will be pleased with two shopping centers about a mile away. We both worked during the week, but spent nights, weekends and a holiday in the cottage. Covered parking is situated just outside the cottage door so it was very convenient for both of our cars. Although the unit had everything needed to prepare meals, we mostly ate out at nearby restaurants. There is also a small shady garden just outside the glass doors in the bedroom so we enjoyed the evening sunsets with a glasses of wine. Our host, Mel, was very gracious and responded quickly to any questions we had, so we had no issues during our stay. We enjoyed the stay so much that I have already recommended the cottage to friends in our apartment building who will also have to move out when their windows are being installed. Thank you for being a great host Mel!

Home Away From Home

Great centralized location with easy driving access to beaches, dining, Waikiki, and Oahu attractions. Property is just like the pictures and provides a cozy and comfortable home away from home in a nice quiet neighborhood. Appreciated having coffee, cream & sugar, seasonings, various soaps, shampoo, and towels readily available, and the macadamia nut chocolates were a nice welcoming touch. Would definitely stay again.

Spacious brand new cottage with all the amenities needed

The cottage is excellent. The renter has a private covered parking space close to the front door. The renter also has a private wooden door into an enclosed small courtyard and then a private entrance into the cottage. So, everything is very private. The location is excellent, up-scale neighborhood close to a beautiful hiking trail overlooking Hanauma Bay. Everything is clean and in good shape. Mel let us have our privacy but the few times we needed help with something, she was immediately available. Highly recommend.
