Cozumel est une Ăźle et des milliers de touristes en bateau de croisiĂšre s'y arrĂȘtent chaque jour. Cozumel est en sĂ©curitĂ© et il n'y a aucun rapport de touristes agressĂ©s ou kidnappĂ©s. J'Ă©cris ceci parce qu'il y a eu beaucoup de questions sur la sĂ©curitĂ©. Ma famille, mes invitĂ©s et moi venons ici depuis 17 ans et je ne me suis jamais senti menacĂ© ou en danger. SituĂ© Ă  trois pĂątĂ©s de maisons de l'eau et Ă  9 pĂątĂ©s de maisons au sud de la place centrale. Casa Martillo propose quatre copropriĂ©tĂ©s avec deux chambres et deux salles de bains; et deux copropriĂ©tĂ©s avec une chambre et une salle de bain, entourant une cour avec piscine, fontaine, palapa et deux barbecues.

À l'Ă©tage des condominiums de deux chambres ont une chambre avec lit queen et salle de bain privĂ©e, et une chambre avec deux lits jumeaux et salle de bain attenante. En bas, comprend une salle Ă  manger, un salon avec canapĂ©-lit et une cuisine.

Condominiums d'une chambre ont un lit queen-size et salle de bain à l'étage; salle à manger, salon avec canapé-lit et cuisine en bas. Chaque chambre a un balcon donnant sur la cour et la piscine. Le niveau inférieur des unités d'une chambre a des balcons avec une petite table et des chaises qui sont parfaits pour le petit déjeuner ou un dßner intime pour deux.

The place was as described. Checking in was a bit of a trick, but we got it figured out. We ran low on water when we arrived and on our last day. Otherwise, all was really good, and I'd recommend it!

The property was cute, comfortable, walking distance, and had a well suited kitchen for cooking.

Our host has created a lovely inviting oasis. He and his wife were extremely hospitable and the home was everything we look for when we travel as a family. Would definitely stay at Caasa Martillo again!

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Martillo. Property was clean and bright and perfectly located to experience everything Cozumel has to offer. David was a great host and was always available to answer any questions or concerns. I would highly recommend this property for vacations in Cozumel!

Beautiful!

The condo was very nice ,well equipped. It was perfect for relaxing and in a great area for running to the store. We felt comfortable brought to walk the neighborhood and the local peeps were really friendly. We are coming back.

This has to be the Best Place in Cozumel

David met us upon arriving. The property is extremely secure even though the neighborhood is very safe and clean. The Casa Martillo is spotless and everything worked properly. It was super quiet , super clean , only 15 min walk to downtown and even less to a grocery store. Great pool and BBQ area. We spent the evenings sitting outside on our own private patio area. The daily service was perfect also. I have already reserved the Condo for next Christmas !

Casa Martillo, Cozumel

Our stay was very pleasant, the host David was very nice and we had no major issues with the property. Our only complaints were the AC system needs to be updated to a more modern system like mini splits and the pool could use some form of solar heating. We tried the pool and it was just too cold for us. Overall, this property is kept up very well, it is in a safe and quiet neighborhood close to downtown and shopping.

Casa Martillo was all we expected and more

We have been traveling throughout the Riviera Maya prior to arriving in San Miguel de Cozumel and this was far and away the best property we stayed at. The value for what you got was surprisingly good. Located in a quiet neighborhood close to all amenities, we were able to easily walk to restaurant's and grocery stores. There was daily maid service which was not expected and the condo was well stocked with all essentials. The six unit complex was quiet and lent to a very relaxing atmosphere. The grounds were also very well maintained and Marilu the property manager was just a call away if needed for anything. Thank you David for the opportunity to stay at your wonderful property on our first trip to the island.

Very comfortable

Friends and I stayed for a week in one of the two bedrooms. Everything we needed was there from towels, to utensils, to appliances. The condo and the grounds were very clean and very well maintained. I didn't have the opportunity to converse with any of the staff but some in our group did and they were very helpful. It's just a few blocks away from the grocery store and some good restaurants. Getting to the pier or just about anywhere else in town was just a few dollars for a taxi ride. We are already making plans for next years dive trip to Cozumel and Casa Martillo will be part of our plans.

Tidy apartment in central location

Unit 4 @ Casa Martillo is a clean 2-story apartment with all the amenities for an extended stay. The kitchen was fully equipped to cook meals at home, the room service was impeccable, and the landlord and/or his assistant reacted promptly to any requests. Everything in the apartment was in good working condition and the place was airy and comfortable. The courtyard pool area adds to the overall relaxing atmosphere. When our travels bring us back to Cozumel we plan to stay there again.

My stay at Casa Martillo

I've been staying at Casa Martillo for the last 10 years or so at least once a year. The property is well managed, clean and safe. It's only a 3 minute walk to the ocean and 10 to Barracuda Hotel reef where I train my scuba students and/or board scuba boats. It's incredibly easy, reasonable in price and I'd highly recommend it to all my friends and/or relatives.

Terrific Place to Stay in Cozumel!!

We highly recommend you staying here on your next trip to Cozumel. So much nicer than any hotel especially the price. It has all the comforts of home and more. A pool right outside your door, AC, full kitchen, TV & maid service. Property is beautifully kept up. Location can't be beat. Two big supermarkets nearby in a very safe neighborhood. Cabs are plentiful but walking to town or the water is also easy. Staff is great & helpful. It also has a place to hang your wetsuit, if you're divers. Please choose Casa Martillo next time. You won't regret it.

Home Sweet Home!

Spent two weeks at Casa Martillo and it felt just like home! We were 5 adults and slept very well. The staff is simply amazing! Everything was perfect. Close to everything, walking distance from Mega and Chedraui supermarket. Clean place, safe place! I do recommand it! Thank you for that nice stay!

Best Place to stay in Cozumel

We've been coming to Cozumel for over 20 years now & Casa Martillo is by far the best place to stay. It has all the amenities of home. Each place has a full kitchen, AC, comfortable beds & WiFi. There's a pool, BBQ area on a covered palapa. The people who work there are terrific. The location is really great in a very safe neighborhood. It's 2 blocks from 2 major supermarkets so you don't need to eat out at every meal. The price couldn't be beat either compared to the hotels. I can't say enough about this place. I highly recommend it!!!!

A Merry Christmas indeed!

Our Cristmas stay at Casa Martillo was perfect. David ( the owner ) provided spot-on information before we left and had information at the property that absolutely made the trip. Marilu ( property manager), Antonio (maintenance man), and the maids kept everything spotless and in tip-top shape. Our daily routine of a late breakfast, a walk downtown, an afternoon snorkel, and pleasant evening meal was so relaxing and hard to leave and return home from. Oh, to be able to enjoy Casa Martillo more often.....a wonderful, safe, home away from home!! Thank you so much David and the staff at Casa Martillo.

Little piece of paradise

Casa Martillo is a hacienda style inn with 6 apartments surrounding a pool and a covered patio with an outdoor kitchen. Each night we fired up the grill and guests in the other apartments brought out their dinner to cook and share before-dinner drinks. We had many memorable evenings with new and old friends! The apartments were clean and very comfortable. The staff was friendly and responsive. There is a rack in the laundry room for hanging dive gear/wetwuits as well as a large sink to rinse your gear. Grocery shopping is about 4 blocks away. The kitchen is fully equipped. It was great! Next time, we will bring our family and friends. In contacting David, the owner, we had the chance to prepay here in the states to avoid international credit card charges. Some of the guests stay at Casa Martillo for a month at a time....and we can see why they come back year after year. We will be back!

We rented a two bedroom unit for 10 days at Casa Martillo. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condos are clean, comfortable and spacious. It's in a great neighborhood that is nice and quiet with very minimal traffic. The maids take very good care of you. Very nice pool - great for relaxing in the afternoon. For those of us who have trouble totally unplugging, wi-fi internet access allows you to leisurely surf the net while on vacation. We had no problems associated with our stay and would definitely stay there again. It's a great deal.

Casa Martillo's accommodations were absolutely wonderful! We were there with a group of four couples. The courtyard, pool and condo were wonderfully maintained each and every day. The owner happened to be there when we were and he was very personable and cordial. We had an all around wonderful experience with our first visit to Cozumel and would recommend Casa Martillo to anyone wanting a great location at a very fair and reasonable rate.

For 4 years David devoted most of his time to community service projects. In 2008 he again started practicing law part-time as the attorney for Trinity County Child Protective Services. David enjoys SCUBA diving, sailing, salsa dancing, hiking, skiing, and public service projects. He has been a member of Rotary International for 45 years.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

For several years, I wanted to develop rental units for tourists, both to generate income and for a winter vacation home. As an attorney, I had helped a client buy a duplex in San Carlos, Mexico.

In December ‘96, my youngest son and I drove the tourist corridor between Cancun and Tulum, continuing south to Chetamal and inspecting property in every town and fishing village in between. On New Years Day we took the ferry from Playa del Carmen to Cozumel. I liked what I saw. Beautiful beaches, crystal clear water, friendly people, and a healthy economy. It has the same small town atmosphere of my home town in California where you can walk the streets at night in safety. Cozumel is a world premier SCUBA diving location and has unique Mayan ruins. There are excellent restaurants, large supermarkets, friendly people, a one of the best Carnival celebrations in the world.
