Star Cottage est un 2 chambres (4 personnes) Riverside maison de vacances dans le village de Wroxham, dans le cœur des Norfolk Broads. Le chalet est à proximité de la célèbre et emblématique pont Wroxham et a le grand avantage d'être sur le côté en aval du pont où tout se déroule l'activité! Cottage invités étoiles peuvent se détendre dans le salon ou sur leur patio privé tout en regardant le paysage en constante évolution des activités de la faune et de la navigation qui se déroulent sur la rivière avant eux.

Les clients pourront pêcher directement des pelouses de chalets (en saison seulement), et bien d'autres activités telles que le vélo, le canoë-kayak, la marche et l'équitation sont disponibles tout près - comme le sont de nombreux pubs, cafés, restaurants et magasins locaux à Wroxham centre du village, qui est seulement une courte distance de marche. Le gîte dispose de son propre parking privé, mais depuis Wroxham village a une station de chemin de fer et d'excellents services d'autobus, de sorte que vous pouvez facilement vacances à Star Cottage, sans avoir besoin d'une voiture à tous, si nécessaire.

Donc, si vous cherchez un séjour énergique ou un relaxant, Star Cottage est l'endroit idéal. Et ne pas oublier que Wroxham est à courte distance de l'exploration de la côte de Norfolk, beaucoup plus belle campagne et les villages voisins - ou même du centre-ville du shopping à Norwich.

La maison elle-même peut accueillir jusqu'à quatre personnes dans deux chambres confortables, une double et un jumeau. L'ensemble de la propriété a été progressivement re-décoré à un niveau élevé par les propriétaires actuels, prêts pour la saison 2014.

Au rez-de-chaussée du chalet dispose d'un hall d'entrée avec rangement et un vestiaire, avec un grand salon ouvert, salle à manger et coin cuisine confection du reste du rez-de-chaussée, avec des portes-fenêtres donnant sur un patio privé, complets avec jardin les meubles.

L'étage est une salle de bains familiale avec baignoire pleine grandeur avec douche électrique sur. La principale chambre double offre une vue sur la rivière, et comprend une table de toilette, placard et une salle pour un lit Voyage si nécessaire. La chambre principale comprend également une télévision pour les films de fin de soirée!

La chambre double petit bénéficie également d'un placard, et les draps et couettes pour tous les lits sont inclus, avec des lits faits à votre arrivée.

Star Cottage peut être réservé soit pour les semaines complètes ou de courtes pauses durant 3 ou 4 jours. Dans les deux cas une variété de dates de début et de fin sont disponibles, sous réserve des réservations existantes - si vous avez des exigences non-standard s'il vous plaît entrer en contact et nous allons essayer très difficile de répondre à vos besoins.

Les animaux bien élevés sont les bienvenus au Star Cottage, et s'il vous plaît noter que l'électricité est incluse dans le prix - pas de factures supplémentaires désagréables !. Serviettes (2 par personne) sont fournis, et le haut débit Wi-Fi est disponible

Centrally placed compact house which is fine for two people. It was very clean with plenty of towels and good bed linen. The WiFi worked well. There was a lot of kitchen equipment but no instructions how to use it.There is a Tassimo coffee machine but no pods supplied so take some with you.It would help if the property description included details of what equipment was available and what is provided on arrival. We had to go straight out to buy soap as none was provided.

Good location, but disappointed by the cleanliness. The cottage needs a deep clean. It was reasonably clean on some surfaces, but the hand rail on the stairs was very unhygienic. The anti bac cloth I used to clean it showed how dirty it was. The kitchen tap needs attention as it makes a loud noise when turned on slowly.The towels were clean.

Great location with nice views from the private garden to watch the world go byeThe cottage itself is nice but could do with some updating and maintenance The bathroom is looking tied and the shower is really not fit for purpose and a very small bath and found it difficult because of the eves in roof space being 6 foot tallThe property was fairly clean although things like tops of light shade fittings and curtains are full of dust and cobwebs. Hob extractor glass hasn’t been cleaned in a long Time. The taps in the kitchen and upstairs all need replacing This needs to be addressed

An enjoyable short stay. The property was clean and welcoming with an exceptionally well equipped kitchen! Our two dogs loved the place and enjoyed making friends with the local wildlife including 'Harry the heron' as we called him. The ever changing scenery would only get better as the season moves on and the passing of everything from the impressive 'Broadsman' fake paddle steamer to the one man little boats.The cottage is equipped for four but would be a bit cosy for four adults.My only minor criticism is not the look of the sofa which others have commented on but it has seen better days and is very soft with no support.I would happily book Star Cottage again without hesitation.

Excellent location for pubs, boat hire,takeout,supermarket. The property was clean and tidy did not smell of dogs, a little outdated sofa/chair has seen better days but having said that the bed was comfy and we enjoyed our stay overall.

Kitchen was well stocked with equipment, air fryer was a bonus. It was pet friendly. Great location. The beds were uncomfortable and it was cold downstairs. It was an ok stay but we wouldn't go there again due to the beds. The sofa has had its day and needs to be replaced. Overall the place needs decorating as its tired. The shower was possibly the worst experience. Luckily we're not tall as its in the eves and the shower unit itself needs replacing. Bath panel was cracked. I just think for the money they charge in the height of summer it could do with some money spending on it to bring it up to a good level. As I mentioned great location and lovely outlook onto the river.

The host of this property is most obliging and the cottage is in a convenient and beautiful spot. Parking was very close but only for one car if you have more you have to pay elsewhere. Well equipped although the WiFi was very flaky and only basic freeview tv’s plus the bed was a little hard for us. I also feel the cottage would definitely benefit from a bit of redecoration and furniture declutter downstairs. But that aside we really enjoyed our stay and all amenities are on the doorstep within walking distance.

Great location on the banks of the river, lovely and relaxing watching the boats go by. Smooth check in and swift communication with the owner via email regarding any questions before we arrived. It is cosy for 4 adults but as the weather was so good we weren’t inside that much, kitchen facilities were good and thank you for the welcome pack of tea, coffee, biscuits and washing up items. It would have been handy to have a clothes airer to dry wet clothes after our days out. WiFi was a touch temperamental and sometimes unusable but we were warned beforehand that it wasn’t the fastest/best but we were on holiday so not that much of an issue to us. The only real issue was one of the single bed mattresses that was obviously old as the springs were felt whatever position you tried to sleep in, we even turned it over to see if that was better!

I'm Jeremy, the owner of Star Cottage. My family are Norfolk born-and-bred and for many years we had a cruiser on the Broads so I know the area very well. I'm now actually based in Derbyshire but bought the cottage back in 2008 and we use it both for our own holidays and for renting-out to guests, many of whom return year after year. We look forward to welcoming you to Star Cottage for your own holidays!

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

When I was looking for a waterside cottage to buy on the Broads I specifically wanted one that looked out on the the main river and that had plenty of 'passing traffic'. An awful lot of waterside properties in the area are actually located on backwaters and tributaries where nothing happens from one week to the next, or sometimes on the 'wrong side' of a low bridge that few boats can get through. Star Cottage is exactly the opposite and looks out onto the river in the centre of Wroxham (the 'Capital of the Broads') where there is always something going-on and something to watch - whether that be natural activity (lots of ducks, swans and sometimes herons), or boats passing of every size and type.
