Maison individuelle de 3 chambres convertie des Ă©curies surplombant la plage de sable

Le village de Mundesley est un excellent emplacement pour des vacances Ă  la mer. Il y a une grande et belle plage avec une petite promenade et de nombreux magasins, pubs et restaurants. Certains peuvent profiter d'un plongeon dans la mer ou peut-ĂȘtre simplement la chance de se dĂ©tendre et profiter de la vue, tandis que les enfants adoreront jouer sur le sable dorĂ©.

La proximitĂ© de Gig House avec la plage en fait un endroit idĂ©al pour des vacances en famille. Mundesley est un village de bord de mer anglais traditionnel prisĂ© des touristes et des vacanciers, sans ĂȘtre trop occupĂ©. La large plage de sable garantit que Mundesley ne soit pas surpeuplĂ©, mĂȘme pendant les mois d'Ă©tĂ©. Mundesley est une base idĂ©ale pour de longues promenades le long de la cĂŽte toute l'annĂ©e.

La maison a été construite au début des années 1840 avec des matériaux traditionnels. plùtre de brique, de silex et de chaux. Le plùtre à base de silex et de chaux est «respirant», ce qui permet à l'humidité de pénétrer dans les murs, ce qui peut entraßner des plùtres à la chaux inégaux / s'écaillant de temps en temps.

Les portes pliantes du rez-de-chaussĂ©e ouvrent la maison Ă  une terrasse donnant sur la plage. Les portes pliantes du premier Ă©tage permettent l’accĂšs Ă  un balcon surĂ©levĂ© offrant une vue fantastique sur la mer.

Gig House is in an outstanding location with beach and cliff walks on the doorstep – just the breath of fresh air we needed. Really comfortable, spacious and well equipped house – and lovely to go to sleep with the sound of the sea.

We loved - The location. Easy parking. Quiet location. Log fire with logs supplied, really homely. The spacious accommodation. Kitchen was well stocked and big range cooker was impressive and easy to use. Chip shop and pub on the doorstep. Various towns nearby for the ladies to do their shopping. Owner communication was faultless. We all felt at ease here and really enjoyed our stay, and so did our little dogs. Thank you.

Wonderfull Place

It was beautiful; the house was even more beautiful than described. Everything you need was there. Check-in and check-out were super easy. The location was fantastic, right on the ocean with private beach access.We had an unforgettable time and will definitely come back.

The property and its location was lovely. We had a nice stay. However we felt a little disappointed with a few things. The main thing being the cleaniness, sofa was covered in dogs hairs which wasn’t great for my baby and just overall could’ve been a lot cleaner, cobwebs here and there. One toilet roll per toilet is also something I’ve never experienced as well as putting all the accomodations laundry into a bag at the end of the stay. Overall was ok.

Superb property and wonderful beach side location.The house had most of everything you might need.The private way down to the beach has pebbles and is very steep. Not good for old knees and legs.Lovely sandy beach when you get down to it.We had a nice meal at the 'Ship' one night and a take away of fish and chips. Both only a short walk from the house.

Unrivalled sunrise view

What a outstanding location. Sitting with a morning coffee watching the sunrise. Photographs dont do this property justice, A comfortable seating area, huge dining area and well stocked spacious kitchen, amazing utility area to store coats and boots, and everything we could need if we were staying in the summer, for a day at the beach, which is at the bottom of our terrace. The bed rooms were well appointed and incredibly comfortable A clean well looked after property, with lovely touches Christmas 2022, was a lovely family get together at Gig House Thank you Margaret and Ian xx

Christmas Stay

Had a great relaxing stay at Gig House. All rooms are spacious and well maintained. Located very close to the beach with views over the North Sea made this Christmas special for the family, we didn't partake in the Mundesley Boxing Day swim although we did go and watch, it looked great fun but too cold for us. The house has good WiFi and TV reception with some sky channels. The kitchen is very well equipped and modern. The log burner in the lounge made the stay very comfortable and relaxing. overall a 5 star stay and experience. Thank you Margret.

The property was in an extremely good position. Almost Private access to the beach with the house having close unrestricted views of the sea. Ideal for a family with young children. Parking for 3 cars It was a really spacious house with all facilities needed. However, it really is ready for redecorating and although essentials were really clean such as kitchen, bathrooms, bedding we felt that a really good spring clean of woodwork doorways etc is required. We didn’t feel that the proprietor had made any real effort to welcome us. Just a pint of milk in the fridge and limited basics one toilet roll per bathroom plus a curt notice instructing us to strip our beds when leaving. It has the potential to be an excellent let but failed to completely meet the threshold for this. I would recommend it for a family with dogs and young children We did enjoy our stay however The locals were very friendly it is a lovely village. We had to travel to find any good restaurants

Cut short by Corona Virus

Good. Location fantastic. Heating rad on landing and Bathroom not working .After using wood burner the room smelt smoky maybe the flew needs sweeping? It would be a good idea to put coat hooks in the boiler room to dry out clothes when you come in from a walk on the beach in the Winter.As we find our selves in lockdown a bit of decoration in the kitchen would be a good idea.Having made these surgestions we had a great time many thanks Margaret .Have a great Xmas New Year Stay safe. Lovely house fantastic location

Lovely property ideal location. Easy access to the beach went to sleep every night to the sound of the waves. I slept in the bedroom with a balcony so lovely view to wake up to. Beds really comfortable. Lovely relaxing week. Pub very close very good food, dogs welcome too. Highly recommend.

A good base for North Norfolk

The property is well maintained and equipped and made a good base for our week in North Norfolk. Sadly April was a bit too early to make the most of the easy beach access but did make for some bracing walks. Would stay here again.

Must have very good as we are going back,from the 31st Oct to the 6th Nov 2020. COVID willing?

As it said on the label, Margret and the lady that cleaned the property which was more work than normal dew to COVID 19 made us feel all had been done to make us feel as safe as possible. We never tired of looking at the sea from the house.Molly dog had a great time on the beach.

Perfect view

From the approach to the property the view and the sound of the waves took our breath away. We had an amazing week in this beautiful cottage. Very relaxing, catered for all our needs. Would happily stay again.

Wonderful location
