SituĂ©e sur la rive sud du lac Ontario, cette maison est un paradis pour les amoureux de la nature. Notre escapade confortable au bord du lac comprend des murs en bois de grange rustique, un sol en brique, des armoires en pin et de grandes fenĂȘtres pour attraper la brise et bien qu'il ait l'air antique, il possĂšde toutes les commoditĂ©s modernes. Nous avons 80 acres d'intimitĂ© Ă  explorer et plus de 900 'de bord de mer Ă  apprĂ©cier. Nous fournissons des canoĂ«s, des kayaks et des vĂ©los pour votre usage ainsi qu'un gril Ă  gaz et un gril Ă  charbon. Un foyer au bord du lac est un excellent lieu de rassemblement Ă  la fin d'une journĂ©e bien remplie.

Regardez les couchers de soleil vifs avec vue sur Toronto depuis chaque piĂšce; apercevoir le cerf courant le long de la limite des arbres; pĂȘchez sur votre propre jetĂ©e privĂ©e; promenez-vous dans les champs jusqu'Ă  l'Ă©tang. DĂ©tendez-vous et dĂ©tendez-vous dans l'air calme de la campagne. Contemplez des millions d'Ă©toiles la nuit.

Pour un peu d'excitation, conduisez 40 minutes le long du sentier pittoresque au bord du lac jusqu'Ă  l'une des sept merveilles du monde - les chutes du Niagara. Voir les sites; arrĂȘtez-vous dans un casino ou traversez le pont vers le Canada. Cette propriĂ©tĂ© n'est qu'Ă  quelques minutes des zones de pĂȘche de Olcott's Eighteen Mile Creek et de Point Breeze Oak Orchard Creek.

The location and view of the lake was fantastic! My siblings, niece, grandnephew, and I enjoyed a 3-night late summer get-away. We spent one day in Niagara Falls and one just hanging out enjoying the lake on a beautiful day. Sitting by the fire pit and seeing a few meteors was a highlight of our stay. The house was rustic in decor but had everything we needed and was clean. (Everyone remarked about how great the showers were!) Overall it was a wonderful place and a wonderful time!

This is a beautiful cottage on Lake Ontario. It is a great hub for day itineraries in the region, or, just relaxing and playing on the lake. The house has all the accessories needed for a comfortable stay and vacation. The host was very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. This was our second stay at this house. Already planning to come back again next summer.

AWESOME PROPERTY AND VIEWS

This property and views were just awesome. Super clean, with all of the needs easily met. The kitchen is fully stocked with whatever you might need to pull off a wonderful family meal. Plenty of seating for all of the guests, FANTASTIC views that take your breath away, and Sue is just a really fantastic host!! I will definitely stay here again then enxt time we come home to visit family!!

Charming and peaceful getsway

The property was just as described, spacious and had all of the amenities we needed, and even had kayaks for the water. Susan was so wonderful and very responsive to our messages when the Internet went out and even came to check on us as we were packing up to leave. The owner was great with allowing our dogs, and the yard provided a great space for them to run around. Would highly recommend and we hope to rent again next year! Great place for families, and loved the puzzle in the sign in book!

Always Wonderful

We love this house! We've stayed here many times and it is always wonderful. Susan is so kind and we just love her. This secluded Western New York getaway feeds or soul everytime. Thank you, Susan. We'd drive from Texas to visit this place.

Great family rental

My family (5 adults and 2 young kids) rented this house for the weekend as we had a family wedding near by. The house was exactly what we needed. Plenty of space, large kitchen, kids toys and beautiful views. Wish we would have stayed longer. Would definitely book again

Lakefront house

This was a very pleasant and comfortable place for 8 adults to stay. The location on the lakefront is the biggest attraction, which can be seen from several rooms, but is best enjoyed from the back porch when the weather is good. We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed some gorgeous sunsets. The host was incredibly responsive. Shortly after our arrival, we discovered that the microwave oven wasn't working. Within a few hours of informing the host, she replaced it with a new one. She was friendly and available, but not intrusive. She lives next door to the property, and stopped by to say "Hi" after we arrived. Otherwise, we didn't see her during our stay, except when we needed to. The one thing that might have improved our experience was to have had more photos in the listing, particularly of the interior of the house. We were a bit surprised by some of the accommodations we found, especially that one of the twin beds we expected to find was actually a trundle bed. It worked out OK for our group, but could have been a problem. Overall, we had a very positive experience, and would gladly stay here again if we were to come back to the area.

Family Reunion Trip To Niagara Falls and Area

Beautiful property, loved the rustic feel and being right on Lake Ontario. Was cool to identify the "lakers" passing by in the distance. We used it as a base for several excursions into Canada and was a great home-away-from home after some very busy days.

Quiet retreat on the shores of Lake Ontario

Just beautiful

Overall just beautiful. We went with a family of six and 2 pups. Susan was on point, kind and hospitable. The cabin was rustic how we wanted it, spacious and the water pressure was fabulous. So much to do right between Rochester and Niagara Falls (we had college tours). The weather was good but each night the sunset was amazing! Was able to see Toronto in the skyline. Would come back again! Thank you Susan.

Fantabulous location for relaxing

It’s a great property and big enough for the group of 8 adults and 1 child just under 3- everyone enjoyed and we had so much fun swimming in Lake Ontario and kayaking- host Susan was very nice and friendly- will come back again for sure if opportunity arises.

Gorgeous setting!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. My husband and I visited with our 3.5 and 6 year old along with my brother, sister-in-law and their 7 and 9 year old. The house had plenty of space for all of us to be comfortable. The kids had an incredible time exploring the expansive property, having a bonfire and swimming in the lake. Susan is so lovely and a really fantastic host. She was super responsive with any questions we had. We hope to come back!

Relaxing vacation

Accommodations clean, and well stocked with supplies utensils, pots, pans, garbage/kitchen bags, casserole dishes and others. Private, calm by the water, relaxing, friendly even though hostess lives nearby, very pleasant informative. Dog, Bo friendly. I've visited our usual haunts and some new according to host suggestions. There were 8 of us all in seperate bedrooms. 3 couples ad 2 singles. Plenty of things to do for a family, games, canoes, bikes. We entertained ourselves.

Absolutely Perfect Cottage Stay

This lake house fit everything we were looking for in a gathering spot for family from all over the country to meet up with local family in the area. We spent entire days gong in and out of the lake for a swim. We spent evenings watching the beautiful sunsets over the water. It was just so peaceful, and absolutely perfect cottage lake stay. Extra added bonus for our time there was meeting Susan and Bo. We hope to meet up again someday.

Girls getaway

This was our second time at Susan's property! It's comfortable and spacious enough for a group! Lots of wineries and good food in the area, very quiet and peaceful setting! Susan is very responsive and a great hostess!
