Vacations are meant to be uncomplicated and enjoyable. Acquiring this lovely condo was a simple process and contacting the owners was so easy. Staying here was wonderful…this place was well stocked with everything you needed. The bed was very comfortable and the whole area was very quiet at night. Looking forward to coming back again someday! Mahalo!

The condo was well supplied and very clean. The view from the balcony was really lovely. Unfortunately we were there during Hurricane LaLa so Maui and its residents were facing multiple challenges, including power outages, rough oceans, wind, rain and flooding. The onsite management did a good job communicating emergency instructions and worked immediately on property clean up. The owners were always good about responding to our inquires.

We had a great stay at Lura's place! We've stayed at several Papakea units and this ranks among the best. Incredibly clean, updated and just as described. Well stocked kitchen and quality items all around. Lura is kind, responsive and helpful. Would definitely recommend and would come back! And Papakea is a prime location for Papi Ohana's cinnamon rolls in the morning:)

We had trouble checking in. The host had not forwarded our reservation to the front desk. We had to wait over an hour to figure it out…Once we got in, it was a gorgeous view!!!! The resort is well kept and the condo interior is updated. The location is great also. The bedroom does not have AC. There was a stand fan provided, but it was extremely warm and difficult to sleep. We would stay here again, but only during cooler months. This was not unique for this condo. As we walked around the resort you could see that all the units had the old boxed AC on their balconies. There is no central air and there appeared to be no updated AC split inits anywhere….so this is not a dis to this unit…just something to be aware of in summer months. The AC keeps the living room frigid, while the bedroom is toasty.

Amazing place to stay. The property is beautiful, the pool is great and the ocean view is even better. Our room was so clean and had everything we needed. Would highly reccomend and would stay again! Check in and host were great and super friendly.

We really enjoyed our stay! The condo was spacious, clean, and in a great location. Everything we needed was provided, including beach chairs and towels. The resort grounds were beautiful and the pool was really nice.

We had a very enjoyable comfortable stay with good communication from the host and great interaction with the resort reception. We feel like this is in a good location close to restaurants swimming hiking shopping and we really enjoyed the cinnamon rolls a three hour wait for those but what can you do that’s how long it takes to get them. It is an experience though, and everyone is doing it. You can tell by the long line that reaches all the way back to Papakea resort Our resort was well stocked as well and the washer and dryer was a major convenience for us. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We also looked at the books on the bookshelf to learn about the birds, flowers things to do, etc. that was nice.
