Nous caractérisons notre propriété comme une propriété familiale sur le lac. Il y a trois propriétés; notre maison de ferme, une maison minuscule et la maison grise. Nous avons des poulets en liberté, deux canards, deux lapins et des abeilles sur notre propriété de 60 acres. Nous laissons des œufs frais de la ferme à nos invités et espérons pouvoir fournir du miel de nos propres abeilles, selon les disponibilités. Nous fournissons également des locations de kayak / canoë avec une renonciation signée; 20 $ la demi-journée et 30 $ la journée complète. Bois de chauffage à vendre aussi.

Passez vos vacances avec la nature. Marchez jusqu’au lac, parcourez 1,5 km jusqu’à la rampe de navigation et le parc national, faites une excursion de kayak au coucher de soleil sur le lac, observez les colibris et les cerfs de votre porche, pêchez beaucoup plus. Sentier facile vers le lac avec baignade isolée, pêche ou vue imprenable.

Labor Day Retreat!

This property is exceptional, clean, well stocked (minus a coffee pot & hot tub). It was a great place for peace & serentiy. Beautiful views all around.but the driveway is STEEP! 4WD a must!!

House was beautiful

The house was very nice, linens and towels good quality. Spacious and comfortable. Only issue was someone, maybe from next door, rather startled us one morning walking across the front porch between the houses and looking in windows. Guess maybe they thought we weren’t there as my husband had gone somewhere. Luckily I was already dressed. Two women and a couple of teens. Might not be a bad idea to put a railing around the porch to prevent. Other than that, all was good. Lake is very nice.

Refreshing weekend retreat

We wanted a quiet place for a weekend retreat and found this property even better than the pictures. The lake is in sight, the property well cared for and the home welcoming and comfortable. We would definitely stay again! Thank you for making such a lovely place available for us!

Perfect little getaway

The house was just lovely and spacious. Well stocked and everything we needed. Quiet are and gracious hosts! We’ll definitely be back! Just a heads up, we were glad we drove our SUV, the driveway was a bit steep and may be a challenge for a smaller car.

Peaceful and relaxing

Very much enjoyed my stay here, from the relaxing and scenic settings, to all the updated amenities you would expect in a 5 star resort setting. We loved Molly the cat who hangs out around the cabin and is super friendly, they have hiking trails that we checked out, and it was a great touch to have farm fresh eggs to cook for breakfast! Stayed in the winter so it’s very slow on the lake (which I preferred) but if you stayed here in the summer you would be close to everything lake time related. So a great place year round! I would definitely come back!

Quiet and peaceful!

Be aware......Listing needs to be updated with some things. It should state in the listing, that the Driveway to property is very steep!! The lakeview is obscured by trees, but you can see the water. Firewood was not available. Did not see firepit. If you are going for fishing, the dock is about a half mile from the property. Driveway is steep for that as well. May not be a big deal for some, but just be aware---you will need a 4-wheel drive vehicle! (unless you want to walk) Trail across the road and to the lake, is not an easy one for seniors or those with physical challenges. FYI. A little issue with figuring out thermostat. Home is nice inside and outside. Owner was real responsive. If you just want a place for peace and quiet, this is great! We enjoyed seeing deer and the sky was amazing after dark!

Nice house

Overall it's a very nice house. The listing needs to be changed because there were no fresh eggs, there was no gas BBQ and the BBQ that is there I needed to clean the ash out of before I could use it. The sheets on the king bed have a tear in the top sheet and are poor quality. All that isn't a huge deal to me but to some people it may be.

Relaxing Getaway

The property was beautiful and the home was very clean and pretty inside. It was cozy and spacious enough. It provided much needed rest and quiet time with my daughter and daughter-in-law. We will want to visit again!

Beautiful Area and Lovely Home

This is a beautiful area in the hills overlooking Ft. Gibson Lake, with much to do without driving far. We had a wonderful time. The house itself is tastefully furnished and has everything you might need. We were impressed with the size, furnishings, and decorations of the home. We felt right at home. It was comfortable and very quiet. In a word, relaxing. To get info on access to the home we found the owner's number (still not that familiar with VRBO and expected to get an email or text or see it under "access") and obtained the info immediately. We would definitely stay at the property again. We loved the area and are grateful to have run across this tasteful and clean home.

Quiet and secluded

We love Gray House! One thing to note, the Guinea does make weird noises during the night. However a friend says they eat mosquitoes, and I didn’t get a single bite while I was outside, so the trade off was definitely worth the small noise disruption. Will definitely look to stay again, the hosts are very accommodating and good with response time.

Poor listing

We arrived a little early, and we were told if the cleaners were done we could get in early. No one called or messaged. On the listing it doesn’t clearly state which property belongs to what house. So we were in the middle of a family vacation. It’s a home. Stead and we were the middle house. Apparently the house all the way to the right hand side of the house rents out with the house all the way to the left of us. So we all awkwardly ran into each and ended up in each other’s houses when we got there. We even called the owners and they pretty much made us feel stupid. There was also no blinds or cover or the glass window doors for the “third” pull out bed to be in the living room in the middle of someone else’s vacation. It never stated there was a pull out bed from the couch. So that’s how we ended up in the other property thinking that much be the third bed. Terrible listing and no way to get money back for that.

A great place to stay

We needed a quick getaway and this was a perfect place! So clean and cozy! Some of the animals are not there but fed the guineas and saw deer several times. The lake was not far and ask about their kayaks! So quiet and relaxing! Great hosts!

We fell into this business and have enjoyed every minute of it. We really like meeting our guests and getting to know their families. We welcome many of our families back for multiple stays. We enjoy providing them with surrounding activities. Some just like to explore our property.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

Our 60 acre property (Gray House Farm, LLC), with 4 lake cabin rentals and an event center, is completely peaceful and we are so excited to be able to share it with others. We like to call it our little homestead on the lake. Collect your own fresh eggs, when available, from our very own free range chickens. We currently have 1 rooster and 8 laying hens.

The area is 30 minutes to Tahlequah and 30 minutes to Muskogee. There are several things to do around the lake. Our favorite hangout spot is a short boat ride to Cypress Cove. They have live music, heated fishing dock, food for the catfish and ducks, and excellent food and spirits. We are sometimes available to water taxi.

There is also Sequoyah State Park. It’s a 20 minute drive or short scenic kayak trip. They have golf, horse back riding, hiking and biking trails, boating and fishing, as well as a nature center with a bald eagle, owl and other wildlife. Catch them at the right time for animal feeding.

Other ideas:
-Pontoon boats for rent at Paradise Cove.
-Whitehorn Cove has a restaurant on the water.
-Tahlequah has an awesome Cherokee Museum and village.
-Wagoner (10 miles) has a yoga barn and rope course and lots of antique stores.
-Hulbert (5 miles) has a splash park for the kiddos.
-Wildwood State Park 2 miles away with boat ramp, swim deck, camp grounds with showers.
-15 minutes to scenic Fort Gibson, oldest town in Oklahoma.
