Best location

This house is great for a big group! The location is so perfect- steps from the pool and beach access. We cooked at the house 2 nights and it is well equipped with everything you would need. There is an ice machine and wine fridge which came in handy. The house is beautiful and big and even though we had 8adults and 10 kids there was plenty of room for everyone. We can’t wait to go back- will be booking this house again!

Second time we have stayed at this home and each time have enjoyed the home. We had family members from Phoenix, Chicago and Atlanta that attended. Great location, access to beach/boardwalk and pool are very convenient.

I can’t say enough great things about this house!! We had a large group of mothers and daughters and everyone loved it! We had other people come over just to see the place because they had heard how wonderful it was! Everything worked well, washers and dryers were great, beds comfortable, AC worked perfect!! Loved this house. We will be back. Fantastic venue for a couple’s trip. Great kitchen for meals and gathering. Especially loved the glass doors between porch and kitchen/living area. Kept them open all day everyday of our fall trip.

October 2019 Stay

We had our entire family for the week - eight adults and five children under six. It was the perfect place for a large family with room to play for the kids and separate bedrooms and bathrooms for all. The house was absolutely beautiful and comfortable and had great access to pool and beach and beach club. The third floor look out was incredible! We did not have any electrical issues, but did need to get the bottom floor AC fixed while we were there. The response was quick and fixed in one day. A couple of us have allergies and found that there was quite a bit of dust under the beds. It was disappointing not to use the elevator for 3rd floor. Otherwise, everything was great and we hope to rent the Salty Deer again!

This was our third year staying in Watersound after staying in many other locations up and down 30A, we will only stay here from now on. The house was beautiful, we saw it being built last year and that prompted me to rent it this year for our family vacation. Upon arrival we found out that we did not have access to the garage and the elevator, this was a first for us. We did have electrical issues with the breakers the first few days when and had we been able to look in the garage we could have been able to solve the problem and not call 360Blue, who did respond quickly. Since the master is on the third floor using the elevator to handle the luggage would have made things a little easier. The location of the house is perfect for the pool and beach. The 360Blue team are very professional and the additional benefits they provide always make for a great vacation

Our stay at "The Salty Deer" was good. It's a beautiful home in a great location near the pool and not far from the ocean. However, we did experience problems with the electrical outlets in the kitchen. If more than one appliance (toaster, coffee pot) was plugged in at a time it would kick the breaker. The same thing would happen if you plugged in and used more than one hair-dryer in the bathrooms. Had issues with this all weekend. Other than that, the overall stay was wonderful.

The house was beautiful, but was recently built so had a few bugs w/ tripping breakers. 11 women for a work retreat. My fav part = we were directly across the golf path from 1 of the pools - very convenient! Arrangements were made for a chef to come to the beach house to cook dinner - what a way to be pampered!!

What a fabulous home. We had such a lovely time with family and friends. The location was perfect for those who wanted to go to the pool, others to the beach, and those who just relaxed and stayed indoors. Everyone's room was quiet at all times, since no bedroom was above or below another bedroom. Everyone had their own bathroom. And the second floor living area and kitchen was spacious enough for all of us at all times. We hope to come back again next year, so keep renting your oh so lovely home to those of us who adore the Watersound area. The detail that you put into your gorgeous home is impressive and made all of us jealous! We will find it hard to stay anywhere else that was this perfect! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

We stayed at The Salty Deer for a 50th birthday celebration. We are a family of 15, so the size of the house easily accommodated us! We loved the location and ease of getting to the beach - especially for our elderly parents. We were so excited to be staying at the newly finished home, and although there were some new construction kinks, this did not take away from our incredible family holiday!!

Our group of 9 adults and 4 kids stayed at The Salty Deer in Watersound. The home's location is great - easy access to the pool and boardwalk to the beach. It is lovely and spacious, easily accommodating our group. The house is new, and you can tell they are still working out some of the kinks - but that didn't stop us from having a great time!
