Centrally located only minutes from both Blue Ridge and Blairsville Ga, this home has a ton of extras for BOTH comfort & fun that checks all the boxes. NOT your typical hollow cabin or empty house, but a mountain home with handcrafted and imported mountain furnishings, top of the line mattresses and bedding, and all the included items and areas guaranteed to make your getaway or retreat memorable. It’s THAT mountain home that you have been searching for to host your family retreat. It’s also supplied with a ton of extra “Comfort Travel Amenities” such as a fully equipped chef kitchen, lightning fast Fiber Optic internet WiFi , and Big Screen TV’s in each bedroom, Den, and in the game room. We’ve also personalized many comfort & convenience items that we as owners have put in place to make your stay more enjoyable. A full and COMPLIMENTARY coffee and tea service is also provided with your stay! All soaps, shower shampoos, conditioners and body wash toiletries are also provided, along with the basic necessities most cheap cabins don’t offer. Lovely home with all the amenities and a very helpful, friendly host. The game room kept the kids occupied, the cook loved the well equipped kitchen, and everyone enjoyed the peaceful screen porch with long range mountain views. Comfortable beds, nice showers, and beautifully decorated living spaces. Truly a joy!

I can’t rave enough about this property and the wonderful host. The attention to every detail and cleanliness was perfect. The beds and linens were so comfortable and the kitchen was stocked. The porch was an amazing place to unwind and no spider webs!!! Highly recommend!

Great weekend get away!!

Great place to go getaway for the weekend / week. Great restaurants. The cabin was very clean. Enjoyed the ping pong, darts and Hot Tub. I will definitely stay here again. Also the owners are great.

Incredible view,very sweet,cozy house,comfortable beds,clean sheets and blanket.Everything what you need for cooking includes in the kitchen.Quiet neighborhood,on the porch has day bed, it’s nice to relax.The owner was so nice and quickly answered all questions.I recommend it for someone to have a good family time.

Weekend Getaway

Beautiful cabin with beautiful view. Need a place to get away from everything this is the place to go and stay. Loved the cabin and the view. Very quite and peaceful. Very easy to talk to owner about any issues or if you need help with the area on where to go or what to do.

Very clean cabin. The beds were so comfortable. Decorated beautifully. Everything we needed was provided. Our host kept in touch. Sent us videos for tv, hot tube and entrance. So helpful. Definitely stay again.

Relax and Revive

I would highly recommend staying in this lovely home. The kitchen was well equipped. The beds and bedding were very high quality and so very comfortable. The family room was very cozy. We enjoyed sitting by the gas logs on the chilly nights & mornings while we were there. The screened porch and deck off of the main level offered an amazing view of the mountains. We will definitely rent this again in the fall!

Mount Joy was Exquisite!

It felt right at Home with beautiful Mountain views, deer, birds and tranquility. We wish we would have stayed longer it was hard to leave this mountain paradise. Jackson was very thorough in explanation check in, check out, remote controls, hot tub, etc. Felt safe and super comfortable we definitely will be back and shopping for our own cabin! 50 year Appalachian Trail reunion

This property was awesome! The home is warm and welcoming. It was fully and tastefully furnished with everything you need for a mountain get away. The views from both porches were breathtaking. Everything was top of the line from the comfortable beds and linens to a fully equipped kitchen. Jackson went above and beyond to communicate about the house and surrounding area. We will return.

We were four golfers there for four days of golf, and the accommodations were perfect. We each had a beautiful spacious bedroom with 3 full bathrooms. I have never seen a property that was as well appointed as "MTN JOY" was. Anything and everything you could want or need, from a variety of types of coffee, full compliment of dishware. One of our members needed band aides, and there they were. The property was very clean and organized with great taste, even had a day bed on the screened in porch where one guest slept some at night. Stunning views of the mountains and very private and quiet in a gated community. If you need to stay in this area you definitely owe it to yourself to check this one out. We will be back next year and hope to add another day. Can't say enough great things about "MTN JOY"

An amazing experience!

This house was perfect for our large family. We stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday and they had everything, and more, we could have needed. Jackson and Teddie went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. They communicated beforehand with tutorials on the hot tub, fire pit and locks which was so helpful to just get in and start relaxing. There was plenty of space for kids and adults to gather together and apart. The game room downstairs was a hit with everyone. The neighborhood had a gate which helped us feel safe and it was very quiet. It really felt like a home away from home. The house is one of our favorite we have stayed at.

We had searched high and low for over 5 years for a place where our family would be able to relax and recharge in the beautiful north Georgia mountains. We finally found it, and after 3 years of renovations, upgrades, and additions, we finally had the perfect Mountain Home for our family which we lovingly named "Mountain Joy".
Our dedication to having the perfect place for our family lends our guests a major advantage in reserving a total "Mountain Home" vs. just a cabin. "Mountain Joy" checks off ALL the boxes-conveniently situated between both Blue Ridge and Blairsville, it is located inside a quiet neighborhood that is both GATED and PAVED. Our mountain paradise is roomy, comfortable, has amazing views, and offers the RARE amenity of having plenty of parking space. We've added technological improvements throughout the home and in each bedroom, including fiber optic speed Wi-Fi service, and the elevation allows for good cell signal reception in the mountains. We've also installed top of the line "Nectar" premium mattresses with cooling technology and complimented those with premium bedding, linens, and towels in each bedroom.
We enjoy it SO MUCH, we actually thought about NOT renting it. Yet, since we are not able to use it on a full-time basis, we decided to offer it on a short-term rental basis for other families to enjoy. Families who will respect our home and that want to share Mountain Memories together in a beautiful, clean, comfortable, and safe setting.
AND, that is EXACTLY what we have! It even features paved roads ALL the way in to the secure neighborhood private gate.
We are proud to help other families and groups have a place where Mountain Memories can be made that you’ll remember for a lifetime.

Everything that we wanted in a great area is at Mountain Joy! My wife didn't wish to travel down dusty gravel roads in the middle of nowhere to get to a musty cabin with little to no parking that was stuck under a canopy of trees with zero cell phone service, no Wi-Fi, no hot tub, poorly appointed furnishings, and cheap sleeping accommodations.
We have seen to ensuring that we have everything that we would want in a beautiful mountain home that is super clean, has amazing views, is finely furnished, has a kitchen that is well stocked, luxury bedding and linens, a free coffee & tea
service, a comfortable and spacious den, a fun game room, a large, clean hot tub/spa, and even a day bed on the upper screened in porch! We are super proud of being able to offer something that we ourselves love to frequent.
