Big Vista est une suite spacieuse de 1400 chambres. Il offre une vue panoramique sur la mer des Salish depuis toutes les chambres. Big Vista a une cuisine gastronomique entièrement équipée avec tous les appareils, comptoirs en granit et cuisinière à gaz. Les vues de la grande salle sont spectaculaires. La suite dispose de 2 salles de bains complètes et d'une blanchisserie. Il offre 2 patios: l'un pour les vues du lever du soleil et l'autre pour les couchers de soleil incroyables. La suite Big Vista propose un barbecue, une bibliothèque, des jeux, un piano, une cheminée à gaz et deux télévisions.

Les deux chambres doubles ont un accès au pont et de grandes fenêtres avec vue sur l'océan. Chaque chambre a un coin salon confortable. Les lits ont des draps et des couettes de qualité. Des robes sont fournies pour le confort des invités.

Big Vista a une entrée privée en bas 1 vol d'escaliers extérieurs. Les clients sont invités à explorer le grand jardin en terrasse et à profiter du magnifique paysage. First of all, the view was spectacular, the tiered garden outside our door beautifully tended. The apartment itself was lovely, everything new and appealing: kitchenet, comfortable bed, enough room to relax, a private bathroom. Private in general. We were at the back of the house on the lowest of three levels, but not in a basement. There was a patio area outside the sliding glass doors. Plenty of daylight inside. This apartment was wonderful, beyond our expectations. And Deborah and John were ideal hosts: helpful and pleasant. They were when we needed them, though the main house never intruded on our privacy. John even took us on an extended visit to the Nanaimo Military Museum, that my husband was eager to see. Thank you so much Deborah and John!

You will not find a better view, it's mesmerizing. Sitting out on the patio listening to the sound of the ocean and the eagles was a favourite. Lovely spot, cozy room with all the amenities.

Loved this place! Exceeded our expectations. A beautiful property, quiet, peaceful, clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our trip. The garden is beautiful. We enjoyed magnificent views, stunning sunsets and were lucky enough to see an eagle flying over with fish in its talons and also saw the Orca’s swimming by. This is a great location, close to shopping and restaurants. Best of all, our hosts Debby and John were friendly, welcoming and super responsive. We will definitely book again. Highly recommend!

This is the ideal rental for relaxation and viewing pleasure. The room was very well-appointed with many thoughtful inclusions such as binoculars and maps, condiments in the fridge, chocolates on the table, etc. A beautiful space with a comfortable bed and great bathroom. Located on the bottom level at the back of the property, it is very quiet. But as good as that all is, it is the spectacular scenery outside that makes this a special place. There are extensive tiered gardens below the terrace outside the room. Comfortable chairs are set up to see the ocean channel right in front of you with unobstructed views of the north coast of the Island, channel islands and the mountains to the east on the mainland. There were bald eagles and vultures soaring above and orcas swimming offshore. To top it off, Debbie was a most accommodating host, readily available to provide information about the area and for genial conversation. It was a perfect choice, thank you Debbie and John.

Easy check in with helpful hosts. Everything as described in the listing was spot on.Well appointed and well maintained, it was a delight to stay at Debby and John's suite. The property is amazing with spectacular views and gracious hosts. My family and I were lucky enough to see whales, eagles, dear and bunnies from the comfort of the living room window. Debby and John are both amazing hosts happy to assist with information about the area and any other inquiries we had. The location is close to everything you’d need and yet very quiet and peaceful. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get away for a great trip to Nanaimo.

Debby and John have enjoyed the panoramic views from Big Vista for 15 years. They have been sharing the Big Vista Experience with guests since 2017. They enjoy assisting their guests to have a fabulous experience exploring Vancouver island.

Big Vista is located in an area of Nanaimo that has spectacular views of the ocean and the mountains. It reminds some of the Amalfi Coast!
The Big Vista gardens are large and full of flowering shrubs and plants, a mini Butchart Gardens. We watch the marine traffic and the cruise ships travel the Salish Sea. There is always something interesting happening.
