We really enjoyed our stay and it was wonderful to be able to bring our pup with us. The kids enjoyed fishing off the dock and using the boats. The cabin was clean and cozy with a kitchen that included every appliance we needed. Our hosts were easy to work with and super communicative. We would definitely book another stay!

Great location and awesome fishing off the dock. Check-in was smooth and the cabin had a nice fenced in yard with a grill and fire pit. The beds were very comfortable and the new air conditioning unit was much appreciated. There was a fun assortment of board games and the tv had access to multiple platforms for rainy days. 6 minute drive from day lake beach/picnic area. Great place for a family. Would definitely book again!

Cabin was nice. The deck was very peaceful, especially with the waterfall down near the dock. Caught plenty of fish off the dock which was fun. Everything that you would need, they had there. Julie was very fast on getting back to you which was great.

Property as stated in description- we loved it! Roomy enough for the 4 of us plus a big dog. Fenced in area was absolutely a game changer for our dog (and us) so she didn’t have to be on a tie out. We did a ton of fishing (decent catches), swimming and hanging out. Used a couple of the boats too. Air split kept things very comfortable and we enjoyed each night eating on the deck. Gas stations and food 3 miles away, and Hayward was only 30 minutes down the road. Went to the farmers market on Monday and found a bagful of local produce and homemade items. We all agreed we would come here again on our next Wisconsin adventure!

Wonderful cabin with our furry friends

My husband and I stayed for a weekend in August with our two dogs and it was the perfect weekend away. The cabin is beautifully done and very welcoming. Having the fenced in backyard for the dogs was the real win for us, I’d highly recommend staying here, my husband and I would book again in a heartbeat.

Peaceful Getaway

This was the perfect location for a relaxing few days away. It was a great home base for our day trips up to Bayfield, Copper Falls, and Lake Namakogan for swimming. The back yard made for an excellent place to relax around a fire after the day’s activities. The cabin was clean and well equipped for our stay. Would recommend for anyone looking to spend a peaceful long weekend away!

Fishing trip with friends!

We had a great stay! The cabin is very nice. Beds were comfy. Everyone in the area was helpful with fishing tips. Our only complaint would be there is no air conditioning only fans.

Family vacation

The listing for the cabin was accurate and more details about the property and area were provided upon arrival. Julie was very friendly and responded quickly to any questions. We enjoyed our stay at the property, especially the private dock. It was a very relaxing and fun family trip and we would highly recommend this property.

Rustic Cozy Little Cabin

The cabin is located in a nice peaceful area. It has a great private dock & the ease of launching our kayaks was wonderful. This cozy little cabin had all of the amenities a person could want or need. Communication from the host was great, also. They were very helpful with directions to the cabin once we got to the area & about other things. Definately a nice peaceful, relaxing stay.

Great Lake Escape

Was a very enjoyable weekend. Check in was easy, cabin was as described. The fence was great for our little dog. Local restaurants were close. The highlight was the location on the lake. Very calm little bay with a constant calming sound of water flowing into a river.

It could not have been more perfect. Location, cabin and surroundings were beautiful. Julie was incredibly accommodating and was in communicated with us immediately when we had a question.

Fantastic 4th!

We brought our in-laws for a vacation over the 4th of July with our 2 dogs and had a fantastic time! The cabin is set up perfectly for dogs. The fenced in back yard around the firepit area makes it so relaxing. It is a beautiful property and thr walk bridge is very charming. Made some wonderful memories!

The nicest getaway!

We had an absolute blast at this property! It was a little small for us 5 plus our two large dogs but we made it work and loved being able to have access to the lake to fish or kayak whenever we wanted! The hosts were amazing and answered every question I threw their way. We also got to ride the nearby trails and those were FUN! 10/10 recommend this place! It was quite a hike for us (8-9 hour drive) but worth it!

Great communication

Had one small issue. As soon as I contacted the home owner she bent over backwards to make it right. Found her to be a lovely hostess and enjoyed our stay. We also saw elk and caught a couple nice muskies from the lake. Thank you for an incredible get away.

Clam Lake Days

We had a fabulous time at the cabin! It was rustic enough to feel like a cabin, but cozy enough to feel like glamping. The protected lake cove was the best. We could take the paddle boat around and float on the floaties since the cove was calmer than the big lake. The dogs loved it too! It was ideal to let the dogs swim and then have the fenced in yard for them to dry off in. Family time was easy, playing games, swimming, and taking day trips to nearby towns. We loved it!

Visiting family

Great access to lower clam lake via the small fishing boat! Loved the backyard area for our furbabies! The large log above the stairs that seems to be an issue to many, was not an issue for our family whatsoever! Enjoyed all the windows in the house to be able to get fresh air. However, if you are looking for complete seclusion and peace and quiet during the day, this may not be the area for you, but it definitely is at night! Very cute, quaint place and we definitely enjoyed our time there!
