If there were a 10 star rating Teresa would have exceeded the mark hands down. She and her husband are the kind of people you wish were your family. In fact, we left feeling that they are. The Villa Kaya is a very special property with everything (and I mean everything) you need for a magical stay on a magical Island. The property was super clean, the view astonishing, the tips to local fare and activities priceless. I travel a lot and I have never felt so welcomed and genuinely cared for. The words of Timothy Leary are especially apropos in this instance:“ Who knows what you might learn from taking a chance on conversation with a stranger? Everyone carries a piece of the puzzle. Nobody comes into your life by mere coincidence. Trust your instincts. Do the unexpected. Find the others
” With “others” like Teresa and Renato we feel blessed. Of course, I’m not surprised they are a guest favourite. Fortunate guests is our feeling. Book early because this gem and these people attract attention. Thank you for having us. It was truly our pleasure.

We cannot say enough about our amazing stay at Villa Kaya! From the minute we booked Teresa and Renato were so willing to help with any questions we had and even arranged our transfers to and from the airport. We greatly enjoyed getting to know them and appreciated the knowledge they shared about their beautiful island. The villa has everything you could possibly need and the color yellow is now a new favorite of mine:) The beaches were stunning and the property is absolutely meticulous!! Having the golf cart was definitely a major plus during our week long stay. I will forever treasure our time in Grand Turk at Villa Kaya and look forward to returning in the future!

Fabulous property! for adults looking for the rustic, no one else walking on the beach coastal experience. Living space is very well thought out. All the light switches, electrical outlets, lights, and furniture are in all the right places. Everything looks new and well cared for. Endless hot water showers. All of the kitchen utensils you would need for cooking. Included golf cart was a big cost savings.

Very wonderful stay

The host was very prompt at greeting us upon our arrival. She arranged a taxi for us which was on time to take us to and from the airport. The condo was very clean and contained all the things you would need to cook. The view from the room is breathtaking and the beach is a short walk down the stairs. This is definitely the least busy part of the island and you very well could sit on the beach without seeing a single person. The included golf cart was a huge perk and we had zero issues getting around the island our entire week long trip.

Peaceful paradise

From the moment we got there till the moment we left we knew we had found the perfect place. Villa Kaya had everything set up for us. The decor was great , all the information on where to go what to do. They even had snorkel gear for us to use. We felt very lucky finding such a special place. We will definitely be coming back. Grand Turk is an amazing island and Teresa and Renato made it even that much better.

Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay in Grand Turk at Villa Kaya! Our hosts were great and helped arrange a car to pick us up from the airport and drop us off for our flight back. Property was perfect for our getaway and the availability of the golf cart was a huge plus! I hope to get back to the island sooner rather than later and would definitely stay here again!

Relaxing and fun getaway

Teresa and Renato are the best hosts! They are very responsive if you need anything for the rental, contact information for excursions, and much more! They were great to chat with when we would see them outside as well! The property is as pictured, but even better in person! It was the perfect size for the two of us.The property is quiet (even with a neighbor) and sits on the perfect overlook! The beach below the steps, does have seaweed (to be expected in the ocean), but its a great place to explore, watch the dogs run, birds dive for fish, and catch the sunrise. It comes with everything you would need to cook in the kitchen, and shampoo/soap for the bathroom. There are also games and snorkle masks in the little table that helped make the week even better! The golf cart was fun to drive around to explore the island! As someone who typically travels as a solo female, this place is safe and in a great location! Thank you again for letting us stay for the week!

A quiet and relaxing space

This is such a great little studio for a couple looking to enjoy ocean views on a quiet island in the Caribbean. Our host ensured we knew how to book a separate flight from the Provo International Airport to the small island of Grand Turk. And they made sure to arrange a taxi to pick us up and return us the airport at the end of our stay! We were lucky that we left just before a few days of rain/stormy weather because that would have put quite a damper on our time on the island. The first day we did have a bit of rain which meant changing our plans since driving the golfcart in the rain wasn't fun! But, the rest of the time we had sun and the golfcart was so helpful getting around the island. We just had to remember to budget extra time if we wanted to arrange somewhere at a specific time since the golf cart is so much slower than a normal car. Just a reminder to folks looking to plan excursions and other activities - make sure that you're booking with a company located on Grand Turk and not on Provo! And, be aware that some companies may not book an excursion unless a cruise ship is in port that day.

Golf cart was a true value

Wonderful cozy apartment with sunrise view. One of the only places on the east side that has beach access. We walked the beach every day in both directions. The golf cart is sufficient to navigate the island - saving $100 or more daily on a car rental. Be sure to visit The Ridge Cafe just up the road for delicious meals from Chef Ed.

Simply Perfect

What a great vacation. Teresa was great getting a Taxi for us and we had no problems getting around on the provided golf cart. The view was more than amazing... morning, day, and night. I fell in love with the house dog, Boo! We loved Arches for breakfast and dinner which was just up the road. I'd definitely recommend Caicos Express for you Island hopper. This is definitely a place I will visit again.

Fun time in Grand Turk

A taxi was waiting for us at the airport. After a short drive, we were at the Villa. What a view! The villa was very clean and accommodating. The golf cart was an added plus, we loved exploring the island. The locals are very friendly and welcoming. Teresa and Renato were top notch hosts with incredible knowledge of the island. We highly recommend!!

Beautiful view

The Villa Kaya had everything we needed. We could lioad up the golf cart and go exploring for the day. We learned our way around the island very quickly. Teresa and Renato were quick to answer any questions or concerns. We were able to prepare most of our meals, but also ate out a few times at some very good restaurants. We swam out in front of the Villa and even saw a couple of stingrays swim by. Highly recommend.

5 Star plus

Some times expectations you see online fall short. Villa Kaya exceeded them! Renato & Teresa are such wonderful/gracious people! More then willing to make our stay a 5 star experience, they helped us with small issues, directions, dinning tips, booked an excursion with someone they knew for us when another had canceled on us. Although they were always busy, they took time to chat and make us feel like old friends. The absolute beauty of the scenery is almost surreal. We would absolutely recommend a stay at Villa Kaya to anyone! Oh ya the provided golf cart was a great perk! Tim & Kim

Spectacular

My husband & I stayed at Villa Kaya for a week. We had a wonderful time. Our Hosts Teresa & Renato couldn’t have been any nicer. They were so helpful with making reservations, giving us recommendations & anything else we needed. They are always outside keeping the grounds beautiful. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing vacation I would highly recommend this villa.

A Hidden Gen

Everything went very smoothly from start to end. The property was exactly as shown in the photos. No surprises. Our hosts were extremely helpful in all matters from getting us a taxi, to tips on getting around the island and restaurants. The use of the golf cart gave us so much flexibility and was a huge plus. Fell in love with Villa Kaya!

It was our first trip to Turks and Caicos and we were not sure what to expect but Villa Kaya was exactly as it was portrayed in the photos and description. Theresa and Renato had arranged to have a cab waiting for us when we arrived. Kristen met us at the property to show us the unit, provide us with information about the island,and gave us directions to the grocery store and key to the golf cart. She also told us where we could rent snorkel gear on the island. We recommend Blue Water Dive in Cockburn. We woke the next morning to the most beautiful sunrise overlooking the ocean. It was truly breathtaking! It was a short golf cart ride to the most beautiful turquoise beaches we have ever seen. The beach below the house was great for long walks and beach combing. We did swim on that beach a few times but it really depends on the tides. Theresa and Renato arrived a few days later and made it a point to introduce themselves and let us know they were right upstairs if we needed anything. They are not only great host but great people. We feel we have made lifelong friends. We can’t wait to come back again

Quiet and Peaceful

Such a great condo that had everything we needed. The included golf cart was a perfect mode of transportation to explore the island. We stayed long enough to experience the quiet time on the island before the cruise ships made it to port. When the ships docks, the island comes to life. Unfortunately we didn't get to the fish market until our last night..... Fresh lobster, fresh conch, fresh fish.... depends on what the fellas catch that day. We felt completely safe and welcome by the locals, even after dark. Explore this island amd you will make memories that last a lifetime.

Villa Kaya

Villa Kaya was the perfect place and location for my husband and I on our recent trip to Grand Turks. The studio had everything we needed. Teresa and Renato were the perfect hosts who were on hand if you needed them to answer any questions. The location and views were amazing. We enjoyed the spectacular sunrises and long morning walks on the beach (some mornings we never met anyone else on the beach as we had it to ourselves). If you are looking for a very relaxing holiday then this is the place for you. The golf cart was an added bonus to explore the island and its beaches - so fun ! We hope to one day return

Great Stay

Quiet mornings with the sunrise and the golf cart was fantastic to get to the beaches and bars/restaurants. Boo, the local pup, was a great addition to the property.
