La caravane statique est située dans un camping au bord de mer , avec 1 emplacement pour 1 véhicule et avec terrasse ensoleillée . Le salon est spacieux et lumineux et dispose d'un feu de gaz, la télévision numérique . Il y a aussi une table à manger avec des sièges pour 6. La cuisine est équipée avec une cuisinière à gaz, grill, micro-ondes et d'un réfrigérateur/congélateur, bouilloire , toasteur . Il y a une chambre double, une chambre à deux lits. Toutes les chambres ont placards ou armoires. Couettes, draps et oreillers sont fournis. Serviettes ne sont pas fournis. La caravane a une salle de douche avec toilette. Électricité , eau et gaz est inclus dans le prix.

Idyllic relaxing stay

The property was just right for us & on arrival a lovely cream day was left and a vase of beautiful white roses. I would recommend this to anyone, we loved it and Challaborough Bay

Fabulous Devon holiday

Wow what a lovely surprise lots of goodies left for a afternoon tea/loaf of bread/smashing treacle tart/bakewell tarts and milk with a vase of flowers. Caravan was cosy warm with plenty of personal touches like books/films/kitchen items you don't usually get was totally fully equipment more than you usually get. It was perfect fir us and our fur babies. Lots to do around area. Thanks Nick all was fantastic

Magical holiday

A very good location, although access road from the A369 requires caution, single track most of the way with Limited passing places. The property was very good, spotlessly clean and well equipped.

Tranquillity by the sea

Gorgeous welcome of Devon cream tea and flowers. Fully equipped lovely caravan at back of site away from noise and bustle. Short walk through site to beach and South Coast path. Excellent location for walks, barely moved the car!

What a great caravan

We had a wonderful time in Nicks caravan where we stayed for a week. When we arrived there was some lovely treats of scones with jam and cream, pastries, bread, milk, pizzas and a vase of roses. There were even dog treats. This was a really lovely thing to do and was really appreciated. The caravan was exceptionally clean and Nick had put the radiators on which made it lovely and warm for when we arrived. There were lots of dvds so we enjoyed watching some of the classics that were there. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this caravan and the hospitality of Nick

A very pleasant stay

This is a very nice caravan, well positioned for walks along the coastal footpath. We would say that Challaborough Bay is probably not the place to base yourself if you wish to travel around the area as the narrow country roads with their passing places do become a little tiresome after a while. However, if you prefer a holiday with the sea, nearby dog friendly beach and good walking it is an excellent place to stay. As mentioned by others, the cream tea, flowers, bread and milk supplied by Nick were a very nice welcome when we arrived. Would recommend.

Our best holiday so far

We really enjoyed our stay in Challaborough Bay Holiday Park. Nick (the owner of the property) made a huge effort for us to make our stay perfect. He welcomed us with fresh flowers, tea, bread and scones :-) Our stay was in April and we were very lucky with the weather - had some amazing hikes and wonderful experiences in the stunning surroundings. The nights were very cold though. The first morning we woke up to 8 degrees Celsius in the living room (we hadn't turned the heating on). We made sure to turn all the heating on the following nights. Because of the wonderful weather, we spend a lot of time outdoors and we didn't dare to use the outdoor picnic table as it was so very wobbly and unsafe... It would have been lovely to be able to sit outside. Other than that we had the best holiday ever and will definitely reccomend to rent this caravan.

Fantastic

the caravan was comfy and extremely well equipped. The owner provided a lovely cream tea and bouquet of flowers to welcome us - how thoughtful. The location is superb. My friend and I have both had a very stressful year and the peaceful location was the perfect remedy. Great walks on the doorstep - car parked up on arrival and not used again till departure. We will definitely return.

Great location

Clean static caravan in the Parkdean site. Five minute walk to the beach and coastal paths to the left and right lead to dog friendly beaches at Bigbury-on-Sea and Aylmer Cove. Great views all round and when the weather was bad we drove up through Dartmoor , and another day visited the aquarium in Plymouth.

Very convenient position to visit stunning coastal location. Caravan well equipped with all we needed. Scones and cream tea very nice to arrive to and flowers a thoughtful touch.

Nice Holiday

Loved it here. Caravan was lovely and a very nice part of Devon to stay. Would stay there again. Only very minor criticism I would say is its advertised with the swimming pool but due to it being a private rent on a Parkdean site you cant use there facilities, you need to pay extra to use them. I don't think that would of effected our decision to book but would have been nice to have known as the kids where a little disappointed when we got there. Thanks for the stay though.

Der Aufenthalt hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden, auch wenn die Zufahrt zu diesem Platz sehr abenteuerlich ist. Die Lage ist aber dafür sehr schön .

Great place for a family holiday!

Thanks for a great holiday Nick, mobile home was clean and tidy, a lovely cream tea greeted us 😁. A fantastic place for exploring the coastline as long as you don’t mind a few uphill walks, site and beach were lovely.

Great caravan with all you need!

Had a really lovely stay at this caravan. We arrived earlier than check in time but Nicolas accommodated us and ensured the caravan was cleaned earlier than planned so we could check in. There was a nice gesture of scones, cream and jam left as a welcome. The caravan was clean and comfortable (great double bed) with absolutely everything you could need. Very well equipped. The beach is great, but it helped we had amazing weather!! We used the caravan as more of a base so didn’t really use any of the on site holiday park entertainment but we did go to the indoor pool one morning when it rained and it was clean. Would definitely return.

We have just arrived back from our stay at At the sea trannnnquille where we had a lovely time. On arrival, Nick the owner had left us a delicious cream tea. This was a great way to start our holiday. The caravan was very clean and comfortable. Everything you need is provided. The caravan is nicely situated at a quiet part of the site. There is a good dog walk. The site has a shop and a bar which also serves food. The area has some beautiful beaches and coves. Excellent coastal walking. Dogs are not allowed on the beach at challanborough bay but just a very short walk on the coastal path to the next beach at Bigbury beach, dogs are allowed or you can go by car. We will definitely stay there again.

Im sorry that this has spoilt your stay. This is out of our control as the beach is controlled by the South Hams District Council and they say no dogs on beach between 1st May til Sept this is why we get get a beach A BEACH AWARD every year. But you can take your dog to Bigbury Beach every day as long as you keep it to the right side of the the slipway. I hope this this helps in the future
