Family of 5 with three teens. The location to Disneyland was AMAZING! Crossing the street was the hardest part of the trip, but this rental was close to the Disney parking structure so need to drive and pay for Disney parking. Cleanliness of the unit was great and no complaints about the unit. They constantly checked in and communicated with us.

The location was great, it was about a 15 minute walk if you cross the street in the middle and take the bridge to the trams in the parking lot for Disney. We appreciated the air mattress and small ice chest for the beach day. The neighborhood was a little sketch, a helicopter circled one night, looking for a person on foot. But I would stay again, for sure. We didn't use the pool or hot tub, but it looked great. There's also a playground onsite for under 7 age, that looked cute. The parking is not attached, but not the end of the world to walk back and forth, however the garage is small. It was a tight squeeze for our Ford Explorer, we had to take off the Thule and the outside spot always had a car in it. Overall it was a great space and I would totally recommend.

This is my 2nd time renting this condo. Great location, within walking distance to Disneyland! Communication with the host is fantastic. Will definitely stay here again!

Affordable small home close to Disney

The house was very clean and tidy. You can tell it is an older home, but seems well maintained. The faucet was getting old and difficult to turn off so it didn’t leak, bust aside from that it was a quant and cozy home.

This is a perfect location for all things Disneyland! It is dated on the outside and needs to be taken care of. When you pull up you question if it is going to be interesting stay. Yet the inside was clean and well thought out. The ease to get on the tram to all things Disney couldn’t have been easier. It’s almost like staying on property. The communication with the apartment was responsive and very accommodating.

Disneyland trip

The condo is good for a short trip, and is walkable to Disneyland - 10 minutes for us. Only drawback was the condo & parking were not near each other (condo is a center building behind a wall) so you are carrying luggage/groceries in.

Furniture & appliances need updated!

The outside of the complex is in dire need of updating. Inside the home, the couch is so broke down it slopes to the middle, same when you pull out the bed inside of it. The coffee pot lid is broke and takes a solid half hour to brew. The dryer takes 2 full cycles to dry, every step you make upstairs is amplified 100 times over downstairs. The location to Disney was convenient, but the house needs a major overhaul.

Review of Maleficent Villa - Close to Disneyland Our stay at Maleficent Villa was a bit of a mixed bag. While the location was unbeatable, with easy access to Downtown Disney, we encountered a few frustrating issues that detracted from the experience. Location: The villa’s proximity to Disneyland and Downtown Disney was definitely the highlight of our stay. We loved how we could easily walk to all the attractions, which made getting to the parks and dining options a breeze. If you're visiting Disneyland, the location alone makes this place worth considering. Finding the Villa: However, finding the villa itself was a challenge. The estate is a bit of a maze, and we spent quite a bit of time wandering around looking for it. The garage was just as difficult to locate. We ended up driving around and pressing the car’s remote until we finally spotted the open garage door. It was an unnecessarily frustrating start to our stay. Size & Condition: While the villa was clean and tidy, it was much smaller than the photos suggested. If we had been a larger group, I think we would have felt quite cramped. We were a group of three, and it was comfortable enough for us, but I wouldn’t recommend it for groups larger than that. The air conditioner worked perfectly, which was a relief during the hotter days. The laundry facilities were well-stocked with essentials, which was nice. Great place, but three caveats

This is an excellent place to stay with easy access to the theme parks, disneyland hotel, and downtown disney. The property owners were very communicative. My three caveats are the following: 1) pay attention to the directions they give you on the location of the garage, extra parking spot, and condo. None were near each other, which made check-in difficult in the dark. 2) comfortable seating in the living room was insufficient, especially for 4 adults. 3) The top bunk in 2nd bedroom was wobbly, and my grandson wouldn't sleep up there for safety reasons. Maybe other kids would think it's fine.

Stress Free

Do not let the outside of the complex deceive you. We had great communication from the landlords prior to our arrival that made the check in seamless. We were only three or four blocks walking to downtown Disney. The townhouse itself had absolutely everything we needed and more. If you have a family, they have it all. And nothing can beat the water pressure in the shower! I would stay here 100 times over. The area was very quiet and the neighbours very friendly. The pools were large and even a smaller waiting pool for the little ones that are about knee height on an adult. Hot tub temperature was perfect even though the bubbles weren’t working at the time it made no difference.

Great location to Disney, unit needs a little maintenance but overall nice stay.

Pros: Clean place lots of amenities 10-15minute walk to downtown Disney. Right across the street from big parking lot for monorail or tram access to parks. Full kitchen. Big outdoor hot tub and pool - hot tub was much needed after long days in the parks! Communication with host was easy and quick via text. Cons: Difficult to locate unit per map/address provided - even residents were confused. Wi-Fi was spotty and inconsistent which required frequent router/modem resets. Dryer does not dry well at all - either replacement or cleaning of the vent is needed. Stair railing is not safe and unsure that it is mounted to any studs at the top. Elderly folks should be careful. More comfortable seating needed in living room if you have more than 3 in your group. Chairs are not lounge-worthy.

Excellent location!

This complex is amazing for trips to Disneyland and California adventure. We’ve stayed in this complex several times and it’s perfect to walk back and forth. For us, this is a 15 minute walk from security at downtown Disney to the front door (with three kids). As others had mentioned, there isn’t a lot of seating in the living room area, just a 3 person couch and two chairs. For a place geared towards families, a small sectional would’ve made it a bit cosier. As with other vacation rentals these days, there’s some updating that needs to be done, but it’s not a deal breaker due to the desirable location. Communication is excellent. Funtierland checked in with us several times prior to and during our stay. Overall, we would stay here again.
