Le Love Shack 1 est une maison confortable à un étage située à deux rues du parc d'État de Pacific Beach et de l'accès à la plage. Un endroit idéal pour une famille ou un groupe pour profiter de la pêche aux palourdes, des promenades sur la plage, des restaurants et des magasins proposés à Pacific Beach. Un mile de Seabrook.

Peinture fraîche à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur, avec un décor de plage d'inspiration vintage. Beaucoup de couvertures supplémentaires pour garder au chaud les jours les plus froids. Tous les nouveaux draps et oreillers dans les chambres. Nouveau bain et serviettes de plage aussi.

La chambre principale peut accueillir 4 personnes avec un lit king size et un lit gigogne double. La deuxième chambre peut accueillir 2 personnes avec un lit queen size. Salle de bain complète avec baignoire / douche neuve et sèche-cheveux. Salon spacieux, cuisine complète et buanderie.

Détendez-vous et regardez les cerfs-volants voler sur le pont avant spacieux avec vue sur l'océan. Les équipements comprennent une grande table de pique-nique, des chaises longues pour 4 personnes et un barbecue au propane. Sont également inclus: pistolets à palourdes, pelles, station de lavage, chaises de plage, outils pour grillades et jouets pour le sable.


Les animaux sont les bienvenus. Les lits pour chiens dans le salon sont destinés à leur usage, leurs propres draps s'ils aiment dormir dans leur lit et leurs propres serviettes pour une promenade sur la plage.

Love Shack II - There are two units which when I booked I thought I was renting a cottage with a hot tub. Ours did not have a hot tub. (I did not discover this until after I booked it, no big deal). Location is great, Communication was fine. We had to leave early however due to the musty moldy smell that hit you when you walked in. No fault of the out of town owner, but the front loading washing machine located in the bathroom/utility room had never been cleaned. There was mold on the gasket, water was still sitting in rim and the drain reservoir was yucky full. I don’t know how the cleaners missed it. When we initially walked in a fan was blowing, the bathroom fan was on and the window was open. So I think they tried to get rid of smell with the fans and air freshener. The bathroom rug was damp, when we removed it to dry we found the pad was wet and had been for sometime. We threw the pad in the dryer to dry but the smell was still there. Again, the location was awesome, the cottage was cute, the DVD player was inoperable and the mold was not healthy. We did communicate this to the owner and she said she was sorry. We sent her pictures to show the cleaners. No offer to refund a nights stay. We hope she can remedy the issue quickly. We loved the beach and the area.

Family Get Away

Our family had the best stay; we hope to make Pacific Beach and this home an annual trip. The kitchen was well stocked, the owner had someone out the next morning to help with the hot tub; our family was comfortable and enjoyed the stay. Thank you!

Family getaway

Had an amazing time at Loveshack with family for a little getaway to the beach. The heater was broken and got fixed very quickly thanks to the host. We will definitely be back again. It had everything we needed.

Absolutely cozy house on the beach that feels like home away from home. My family has now booked the Love Shack four times, and every time it's been more fun than the last. I especially loved the updates made in the last few years to the beautiful bathroom and the addition of the hot tub.This year we had an exceptionally fun time making the short drive (3 minutes) to Seabrook, where we were able to shop at their fine grocery store, visit the booths at their Saturday market, and explore the gorgeous Gnome trail.

We loved this cozy home so much! Clean and well equipped. Close to the beach and cute as can be. The owner was VERY helpful and responded quickly to questions. The love shack is the place to be and we can’t wait to go back!

Cozy reprieve on a stormy weekend

Check-in was a bit of a challenge as we'd been given the wrong keypad code, but the owner was quick to respond & get us in the door. House was perfect for our needs, and served us well despite the unexpected (extreme!) weather conditions.

Perfect spring break getaway!

We had an amazing time! Kids loved it, we loved it! Such a great job on stocking the house with everything you might need to cook, I was super impressed!!!Only thing, the check in directions said there was a book for quest with check out procedures. We couldn't find any book, I hope we did okay shutting it down. We started a load of towels, the dishwasher, stripped the beds and took out the garbage, Made sure the heat was turned down to 50 and the house locked up.We LOVED our stay want to come back this summer! Thanks so much!

The code for the lock and lockbox did not work so we could not enter the house to enjoy our 40 th wedding anniversary. Had to book different accommodations very inconvenient and unprofessional.....left multiple messages for host with no reply for 2 hrs at which point we had to make other reservations in the area in order to secure a place to stay for the weekend.......

Cute little house

My children and I came to spread my dad a stepmothers ashes because Pacific Beach was their favorite place to stay. The house was cute and spacious. The hot tub was Luke warm, we gad to turn it up and a step on the stairs broke getting in. Never could find the owners manual or the outdoor garbage can, but did the best we could. Did try to take a bath several times, but only enough water for a couple inches. I would stay again, with a couple suggestions.

Lovely place for a spring getaway

This little house made a great weekend getaway. It was comfy enough to lounge around reading on a rainy day, and a well placed base to explore the area from on the sunny days. We ate at a nice little restaurant served by friendly locals. We give it one less star because we had some confusion getting in: the email said the code was for the key lockbox, which didn't work. In fact, there is a keypad that's used now. Also, we couldn't find the owner's manual, which presumably told us how to work the hot tub, which we couldn't figure out.

The hot tub is still broken only one jet works and there is a bunch of sand at bottom and step the get into hot tub is missing a board the rusted nails are sticking up to step on and impale your foot. The wood floor in the house is not safe it’s all splintered and splitting and caught two sets of socks and ruined them. The gas grille is so dirty that you would never put any food on it and the propane bottle is empty and so rusty I assume it hasn’t been filled in a long time! And so much more , I’m going report to Vrbo

Thank you for your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the issues you experienced during your stay, particularly with the hot tub. At the time of your visit in September 2025, the hot tub was nearing the end of its service life, and we regret that it did not meet expectations. Since then, we have fully replaced the hot tub and steps (completed mid-February), and everything is now in proper working condition. The BBQ has also been addressed and is in working order. Regarding the propane tank, surface oxidation is common in coastal environments due to salt air and does not impact safety or performance, and tanks are maintained and filled as needed. We have not received prior or subsequent complaints regarding unsafe flooring, but we will continue to monitor and maintain all aspects of the home closely. We always encourage guests to reach out during their stay so we can promptly resolve any concerns. We appreciate your feedback, as it helps us continue improving the property for future guests.

Average beach house - worked in a pinch

We were desperate to beat the heatwave and were grateful to find an available booking on the coast. As they say, beggars cannot be choosers. This is an average beach house that met our needs but was nothing exceptional. It was quite spacious in the living area and the master bedroom. The large smart TV was also great. The house had not been fully cleaned upon arrival, but the owner was very prompt in resolving the issue and once the cleaning person returned to finish, she did an excellent job.

Unfortunately, I did not enjoy my stay at this property. One major issue is that the lot is shared with another rental (“the second love shack”), and they don’t appear to have their own trash bins—so there were people frequently walking through the area in front of our rental to dispose of their garbage. The outdoor area had trash scattered around, which made things feel unkempt and uninviting. Inside, the bathroom was disappointing—the shower curtain had mold and yellow stains that were hard to ignore. The hot tub was filled with sand and clearly hadn’t been cleaned before our stay, so we weren’t able to use it. The beds were also not very comfortable. What pushed this experience toward a 1-star for me was the complete lack of communication. I reached out a week before my stay with a simple question about having a few family members over for dinner—no reply. I also asked about the check-in/check-out book because we couldn’t find it—again, no response. I shouldn’t have to chase down a host just to get basic information. This was meant to be a relaxing vacation, not a hassle. I truly hope the host improves their communication and upkeep for future guests

Not What Expected, Exactly Needed

Reading former reviews, hosts have improved much, and is a very pleasant place to stay if you’re ok with older/rustic beach cabin. We loved it. Communication was off. Booked asking for tips on clamming. (Never been.) No response. First day question about turning off hot tub at night (next to a bedroom window), and got a polite response that didn’t work. Turns out, didn’t wake the occupant anyways, so…Sent about 4 more messages covering various things: Hot-tub was dirty/sandy until we put more water in to reach the filtration (On front porch so no privacy.); as of today, still haven’t heard anything from hosts. (Hope they are ok.); neighborhood being trolled by people looking for empty homes to fill their garbage cans (Ours was filled when we arrived, then garbage took the cans away the day before we left, didn’t replace them, so had to leave garbage in inside canister.). The street was fairly busy with trucks and camping trailers, as it is the main entrance to a state park. We believe the unit behind the cabin is also available with the booking, but never used it with only us there. All-and-all it was a very pleasant stay for us. If you get a chance, the Ocean Crest Resort restaraunt was amazing! Not cheap but very worth it. The library in Ocean Shores was also nice. Good selection.
