Belle maison familiale. Situé dans une ferme familiale, au pied des Tetons. Une vue imprenable sur la chaîne de montagnes. Décor confortable pour des vacances détendues complètes. Table de billard / table de ping-pong à l'intérieur. Accès libre à la motoneige, à la raquette, au ski de fond, au 4 roues, etc. Table Rock, Teton Canyon et Targhee sont à quelques minutes. Détendez-vous sur le pont et regardez l'élan, le cerf, les oiseaux et le rare renard argenté qui fait de temps en temps une démonstration. Amenez votre chien ou deux moyennant des frais supplémentaires. Cette grande maison dispose de 7 chambres et 3 salles de bains. 20 personnes et plus. 3200 pieds carrés Pieds avec une vue imprenable sur les Tetons. Une grande terrasse sur le côté Teton de la maison. Entouré d'un beau terrain agricole. La grande grande salle avec une cheminée et des fenêtres du sol au plafond. L'étage principal a 3 chambres et 2 salles de bain, cuisine, salle à manger et buanderie. Profitez de la vue depuis le grenier et d'une grande chambre avec un berceau si nécessaire pour les petits. Profitez de la salle familiale au sous-sol avec une table de billard et une table de ping-pong. 2 chambres et chambre avec lits superposés pour les enfants avec salle de bain complète. C'est un sous-sol à pied, il est donc clair et aéré et vous obtenez à nouveau ces vues à un million de dollars. Décorations très confortables et propres pour que vous puissiez vous détendre et vous détendre.
Cette maison vous met à seulement 6 miles de Targhee, à 5 miles de Driggs, à 32 miles de Jackson Hole et du parc national de Grand Teton. 87 miles au parc national de Yellowstone.
Les 4 roues peuvent être amenées par une remorque (non autorisée sur la route de la maison mais peuvent être conduites une fois que vous arrivez sur Stateline Rd.) En hiver, il y a la raquette et le ski de fond. Cette maison est une station en soi. Veuillez garder votre vitesse inférieure à 15 mph sur la route jusqu'à la maison. Veuillez faire attention aux voisins.

Beautiful view of the Tetons, location is really close to Grand Targhee ski resort. Lots of room for our family and a great stay all the way around.

Our stay at the Durtschi Homestead was overall average. The highlight was definitely the amazing view of the Tetons—it’s hard to beat that scenery. The home itself was decent and had what we needed, though nothing particularly stood out. The host was responsive and helpful, which we appreciated. If you’re mainly looking for a place with great views, this could be a good option.

Great ski week base

Plenty of space for our group of 18, logical kid hang out area separate from the adult hang out area. Privacy for everyone. Loved it!

The house was nice and big for our group. The downstairs was great for the kids to hange out in. Nice and close to the ski hill. All around it was a great house.

Great time with great friends

Our group was there for Nordic skiing and there are many areas within a short drive for skiing, and of course Grand Targhee is just a few miles up the road. We had a very pleasant experience and we found the property managers to be easy to work with. The directions were good, but as the listing points out, you need 4WD to access the property in snowy conditions. The property has really great views of the Tetons from the west side, the neighborhood was quiet, we never saw any neighbors all week, and just about everything we needed we could get in Driggs. The house itself could use some updating, but it served our needs well and we would consider booking it again in the future.

Beautiful location, not so great place to stay

The check in process was great, we were just given a code to the property. When we walked in, the house was uncomfortably hot. It was 85 degrees outside and all of the windows were closed. We went to turn on the air conditioning, only to find out there wasn't any. This wasn't mentioned on the listing. We opened the windows (and found a few broken ones) and turned on the fans that were available. That helped a little. As we were opening doors, there was a screen door that was broken. We also saw a dead mouse in between one door and the screen door. Needless to say, we left that alone and did not use that door. We also had a visit from a neighbor letting us know not to drink the water. I contacted the property manager when we got home for the evening (10:00 pm). I was grateful that he responded, but unfortunately he wasn't much help. He manages several properties and knew that there was an issue at our location with the water in the spring, but wasn't aware that there was a problem now (mid-July). Luckily there was a grocery store not too far away and we were able to purchase water. Overall, it was nice to have the space for our entire group but I would not recommend this property to anyone. It has not been well taken care of and wasn't comfortable or very clean.

So sorry the home was not to your satisfaction. I actually called the owner about the water, right after you text me and was told the water was fine. The EPA cleared the well water in April, when we had snow run off. No mention was made of the heat or mouse or we would have been there immediately to take care of it. Mice are very present in the farm lands here, however, we would not want you to look at that the whole time you were here, so I wish you would have mentioned it to us. My husband and I and a handful of maintenance personnel are just a quick drive from the house (10 minutes at the most). We could have made it much more comfortable for you. I did try returning your call twice, you did not answer so I sent a text. You said you talked to a He and I am not sure who you would have talked to because I am a female and I received your text, not my husband. As far as the air conditioning goes, at this altitude most homes do not have air conditioning and listed in the amenities it does state that the home has no A/C. (See amenities) This home has received many 5 star reviews on the other booking site. Please come stay again and we make it right for you. Eddye

Beautiful View, But Not Worth The Price

Let me start off this review by explaining that I am a vacation rental property owner as well as a business owner that relies heavily on reviews. It is very hard for me to review products/properties negatively because I rely on positive reviews in both facets. We have rented many vacation rentals in the US, Europe and Caribbean. We have also been on the road for going on 8 weeks now, renting vacation rentals in different locations each week. This property was our 7th property on this trip thus far. Every previous stay has been rated 5 stars. There were 5 adults, 3 children and 2 dogs for this stay and we had plenty of space for all of us. The views are great and the location is quiet yet located near a lot of trails, parks, towns, etc. Sunrises and sunsets as well as star gazing are great from the deck/backyard area. Here are the issues we had: The biggest complaint - I have paid a lot less for a lot nicer house with similarly beautiful views. The actual property was not worth the money. The one pager with property information and rules states that ongoing landscaping is occurring and although the grass was mowed, there was serious overgrowth on the stairs/walkway to backyard from deck making it difficult to go to yard from upper deck. There is a cleaning fee for each reservation and I know my fee went to cleaning after our stay, however we showed up with dishes that weren't clean yet put away, dust on doors and trim, dust cobwebs on walls, pubic hairs found in bathroom. My husband said it’s like a house no one really cares about. There was paint peeling both on the interior and exterior, broken cabinets, backsplash falling off walls, and a broken sprayer in kitchen sink. Additionally, on the note about property, it states that there is an hourly fee to clean the grill if left dirty but the night we went to use the grill, it was dirty and there is a broken brush left to clean the grill. We cleaned it before and after our use. We had issues with a toilet overflowing twice, even though we followed the directions for use. Pool sticks were missing tips, ping pong paddles were warped, darts needed to be reassembled. We killed a couple of ants in the kitchen It does get hot in the house during the day and there are minimal fans, which all were dusty. I have never had this many issues at one property and although some issues are minor, the frustration added up. Although great for large groups, I would not recommend for the rate

We leave our phone number on the check in sheet at the home, in hopes that if there is ANYTHING unsatisfactory in the home you would call us, we would be more that happy to take care of it IMMEDIATELY. Unfortunately without this communication, from you we were unable to. We mention in the description that this is a well loved home with a fabulous view, and it is. We had a substitute cleaner in and unfortunately she didn't meet our high standards. We appreciate your kind words.

Magical

As you look around this home, you can see that it holds precious memories as we are making new ones. We stayed for 9 days with our children and grandchildren. It was magical as we enjoyed meals together with a beautiful view, playing games, hiking and kayaking. We give it our recommendation for sure!

Nice house with fantastic view. The property description is very accurate. If I had one suggestion it would be directions pertaining to the driveway as it is shared by multiple homes and a bit confusing(especially at night). The house is a great value.

great for a large group

We had 10 adults and 7 children (ages from 10 to 15). There was plenty of room for all of us. The lower floor had a pool table and a ping pong table. There was plenty of room and activities for the kids. If you come in the winter be sure to bring car chains if you don't have snow tires and 4 wheel drive.
