May's Mountain Home est une belle maison en bois rond située sur 27 acres dans les pittoresques montagnes Blue Ridge. Venez profiter de l'étang et du serein ruisseau Buffalo qui traverse la propriété.
Situé au cœur des Blue Ridge Mountains, cette propriété offre plus que de simples vacances; c'est un pas en arrière dans le temps avec toutes les commodités modernes. Il y a des vues sur la montagne ainsi que de nombreuses occasions d'observer la faune qui vit sur la propriété. Le cerf et la dinde sont un site commun sur les champs de la ferme vallonnée en face de la propriété.

After many VRBO cabins this is definitely the best! Very peaceful and tranquil. Seems to be ideal for year-round stays. Lots of privacy and close to the Blue Ridge Parkway. We plan to stay at this location many times in the future!

Everyone enjoyed our stay, the house was very clean and cozy. We loved sutting on the back deck in the evening , and to front porch in the morning having coffee. Shannon was a pleasure to deal with. I would definitely stay there again.

Peaceful and beautiful! Enjoyed some hammock time and sounds of nature. Took a walk to the pond; it was so beautiful. The cabin had every thing we needed to make our stay comfortable and safe. The neighbor hood is very nice.

We had a fabulous stay and look forward to returning next spring. Shannon was very helpful and accommodating! The location was perfect, cabin was cozy... loved the front & back porch! Beautiful sunsets from the front porch. The pond and creek are worth the walk. Great spot on the Map to relax and take in the what the area has to offer.

Pictures doesn’t do this cabin justice! We enjoyed our weekend and it exceeded our expectations. The space was clean and well kept. The walk to the pond was great exercise. We caught a few fish as well. Highly recommended

Nice, Cozy Cabin in the Woods

My son and his family recently moved to Woolwine, and we feel so grateful to have found the perfect cabin for when we visit. The Cabin has that rustic and serene feel about it, and the pond with the stream is an added plus. A nice, quiet property that had everything we needed!

Very cozy & spacious

We really enjoyed our stay at Mays. Friendly neighbors, super quiet, nice coffee shop down the road. Drove 45 mins to Mt Airy for the day Saturday & it was a nice drive in. Dogs loved all the space and the yard. Nice game room downstairs & tons of space on the upper floor. Everything we needed for a weekend trip provided.

Family reunion in the mountains.

Quaint cabin full accommodations, cozy, yet spacious. Beautiful covered deck in back. It rained but didn’t ruin our family cookout, gas grill under covered deck. Lush trees all around. It was awesome.

Beautiful cabin, even nicer than in the pics. We loved spending time down by the creek/pond. Fairy Stone Park was a 20 min. drive, and we enjoyed getting breakfast at Crossroad Cafe. I would love to come back in the winter.

Perfect place to stay for fairy Stones

The cabin was clean, cozy and comfortable. Decorated beautifully . Only about ten miles away from Fairy Stone State Park. We walked down to the large pond and the stream below the cabin. You can see both sunrise and sunset from the cabin. The host, Shannon was very helpful and delightful to talk with.

Relaxing and cozy

Thank you for a great vacation! The log cabin and the property were amazing. It was so relaxing and the cabin was very clean. We loved sitting on the front and back porches. The neighbors were so friendly. The Mountain View’s were incredible. This was a perfect place to relax and unwind. We hope to come back in the spring. I highly recommend this place!!

Family Cabin built in 1992 the rocks constructing the chimney and around the perimeter of the home were collected and laid by hand by members of the family a large portion of the construction was done with family labor, the property is named after my grandmother.
