Overall it was a nice place to stay. It was nice to tie our boats up to the dock, close to a variety of restaurants and the infamous “jumping rock.”

Great host and beautiful spot!

Long weekend stay for family (including teens). Great location, fun for all ages - brought our own boat & paddle boards. Owner had kayaks available for use and was great about communication. Would return in future!

Labor Day 2019

We loved the property as it was located in a protected cove just off main water. It was a short boat ride to some of our favorite restaurants on the lake. The house was very nice and clean and it was a gentle sloping lot down to the lake. We enjoyed swimming and hanging out on the dock. I would definitely recommend this property!!

Relaxing Getaway

We enjoyed our stay. Great layout of house, plenty of space, comfortable beds, plenty of towels, quiet cove, and nice dock. Fishing was great and the cove is centrally located and easy to get anywhere on the lake. My one suggestion would be to bring ant spray because ants are everywhere. Also, the property doesn’t offer trash removal so we had to take all the garbage with us.

Peaceful cove

Enjoyed another stay at this peaceful property. We like to fish and kayak off the dock. The location is very close to the main body and very easy to have a boat delivered from a local marina. Deck is nice to lounge on and gets afternoon sun. Kitchen had everything we needed.

Great Setting with super sunsets. Worked very well for a Thanksgiving Family Reunion.

Fish and boat easily

Good fishing right off the dock, plenty of room to dock and navigate our boat rental. Very close to main body water. Would have been helpful to know in advance of booking that this property doesn't offer trash removal. Just good to know for planning purposes as check out is at 11 and the dump doesn't open until 2 on Sunday.

Loved being by the Lake!

Great Lake Front house!

The house was clean, new appliances and plenty of room. There are 3 levels, so great for families and kids! The dock is perfect we were able to dock two boats for the entire stay. Would definitely come back!

Great location on the cove with a dock to tie up our boat. Bedroom arrangements worked well for us and teenaged children. Layout allows for both group time and having your own space-nice for the teens.

Perfect Spot for Family Getaway

Our group thoroughly enjoyed this home on Lake Occonee. The furnishings are comfortable & accommodated our group well. Property is well maintained & located in a quiet cove near several boat rental options, etc. The property owners were easy to get in touch with during stay. There are steep stairs in the home and to & from the lake access/dock so something to keep in mind if you have anyone in your party who may need ADA accommodations or small children/older family members.

Loved this house

The house was great. You can tell the owners really keep it as a second home as we could feel that it was just so taken care of. The owner was very responsive throughout our stay. We would live to come back. No negative feedback at all. By far one of our favorite rentals.

Great lakefront getaway

Bill was very easy to work with and super accommodating. Lake Oconee is beautiful, big and was not crowded at all. The house has everything you could possibly need for a week at the lake, just pack up and go!

Fun with grandsons

The Kearneys have a beautiful place, and having spoke with Bill personally, I can tell you that your stay at their place matters. We had a great time there. At the house the boys did some kayaking, fishing off the dock, and also had a whole lot of fun with a Bingo game downstairs. We also did a lot of tubing, skiing, and fishing. This is a great area for all of that...awesome lake....clean water. The boat ramp is about 8 minutes away (by road). What you really want to know is, would I go back? Yes! Thank you to the Kearneys for allowing us to stay🙂

Great getaway!

My family had a great week at this property. It was exactly as advertised. We really enjoyed our stay. Everything from fishing off the dock with our grandkids to swimming in the lake. It was an ideal location to get away for a few days.
