We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house very well equipped and had more than what was advertised. Plenty of toys for the toddlers to play with. Beach toys for toddlers and adults (LOL). 6 adults and 4 toddlers and we never ran out of hot water showering after the beach. Great location…two blocks from the beach, two blocks from Brown Dog ice cream. We plan on visiting again!!!

Very nice house for an extended weekend! Bedrooms are nice and spacious. Great dinning room table and kids table which was perfect for the family! Would recommend this house for families!

What a fantastic house!! Beds were super comfortable and the outdoor shower was one of the best (I’m an outdoor shower connoisseur- so trust me!) The host could not have been more helpful! This home was well stocked and perfect for the “7 traveling 70 year olds!”

Chilly, windy weekend, but a delightful time together

My daughter, granddaughter, and I take an annual spring weekend trip to Cape Charles, and it never disappoints! The town is a delight, with great shops, restaurants, and watering holes, as well as the beach. The house was charming, very clean, and comfortable, and we would definitely stay here again!

We really appreciated the clean house with dishes, bed linens, towels, furnishings that were fresh and make this home feel peaceful and comforting. The location is perfect for strolling to the beach, shops, nature trails and restaurants. No golf cart needed. The quiet lovely neighborhood is the perfect setting. We loved our time here and will be back.

What a wonderful home. So clean, comfortable and has all the extras. Close proximity to beach and town. The check in was easy and Maria communicated and responded to questions immediately. Hope to return.

We have visited Cape Charles a few times and this is by far the best house, location and rental ease. The owners are fantastic and easy to communicate with. The house had the best provisions and accommodations. We would recommend this house!

60th birthday getaway

We enjoyed our weekend and hosts were responsive throughout the whole process. We went for walks, enjoyed the town and ate in enjoying the large dining room. Football and games for the group in the living room was very spacious! Thanks for the great weekend.

Great place for 2 families. As others mentioned its stocked and has everything needed to enjoy beach. Plenty of good quality chairs and great amount of sand toys for kids.One suggestion would be to make one of the king size rooms into another kids room with double beds or even bunks.

Kudos to the owners for having a nice property!!! Loved the keyless entry!!! That is so nice when there is more than one couple..... property is exactly as listed and photos are accurate. I would highly recommend and will definitely stay here again!!!

Beautiful and comfortable home

My parents, my three children and husband all stayed at this home for a week. It had everything we could need. The location if perfect and close to beach and ice cream. The home felt spacious enough to house us all comfortably and the king size beds were luxurious. Plenty of toys for the kids!

Perfect in every way!

This home had it all! Well appointed everything. Even the kitchen knives were nice and sharp! The owners were very friendly and easy to communicate. Everything we needed was walkable from dining to activities and amenities. We adored this home and hope to return!

Relaxing weekend

We really loved the house for our two families! We got to enjoy the front porch on Friday while the weather was perfect! We walked to the beach, went downtown, played at the park and then spent Sunday watching football. It was exactly what we needed! The kitchen had everything! Each bathroom had soap and toilet paper. We'd love to come back!

Perfect weekend rental

Two near-retirement couples enjoyed a weekend of outdoor activities (biking, walking) in charming Cape Charles. The house has a broad front porch with abundant seating for relaxed conversation. The well-equipped kitchen did not see much use other than chilling beverages and brewing coffee, but seemed to have all the essentials. Upstairs bedrooms (4) provided plenty of space and comfy beds. Clean and calmly decorated for a peaceful stay. Thank you to the hosts for making check-in easy. We recommend this home!

This home is beautifully historic yet well appointed, comfortable and convenient to everything in Cape Charles! Kitchen is well stocked, appliances worked well, AC and wifi were also reliable! We spent many hours on the front porch, comfortable in the living room watching a movie or sitting around the big table in the dining room as a family …and each of us slept like babies in all the beds! They have thought of almost everything you’d need, especially if you have kids with you. Our 3 year old loved the books, toys and kids room! You’re just blocks from the beach, the downtown and can hear the concerts from Central Park. Maria was responsive and helpful answering questions and we had zero issues while we were there. We will be back!
