Diamond A Cattle Tourist Cabin

Notre chalet touristique des annĂ©es 40 a Ă©tĂ© rĂ©cemment rĂ©novĂ©. Il y a un lit double dans une chambre et un lit double dans l'autre chambre. La petite salle de bain avec douche vient d'ĂȘtre rĂ©novĂ©e avec de belles tuiles neuves. Une petite cuisine Ă©quipĂ©e a un grand rĂ©frigĂ©rateur et une cuisiniĂšre d'appartement. Nous pouvons faire l'Ă©picerie pour vous si vous le souhaitez et faire faire vos courses (et la facture) Ă  votre arrivĂ©e. Nous avons accĂšs Ă  des Ɠufs frais de ferme.
Nous proposons des visites de notre ranch. Sur le ranch se trouve l'original 1906 Homestead Shanty qui a été construit pour les Ashley Brothers. Le bidonville contient trois meubles originaux ainsi que d'autres meubles d'époque. Le bidonville a été occupé jusqu'aux années 1950.
Une Ă©cole rurale d'une piĂšce se trouve Ă  cĂŽtĂ© de la cabine touristique. Des bureaux, des livres, des cartes, un poĂȘle Ă  bois vous offrent la possibilitĂ© de jouer et de faire comme si vous Ă©tiez le professeur de l'Ă©cole ou le cancre. Un coin Ă  l'intĂ©rieur de l'Ă©cole a un isoloir et l'urne originale.
Diamond A Cattle Company possÚde une arÚne de cordage / rodéo intérieure et extérieure. Les événements organisés dans les arénas sont les courses de barils, les courses de taureaux, le travail d'équipe, le cordage d'équipe et le tir à cheval.
Les bovins Corriente utilisés pour le cordage d'équipe, la lutte de bouvillons et les taureaux sont élevés sur le Diamond A Cattle Co. Nous montrerons notre bétail lors de notre visite du ranch.
Si vous voyagez dans votre propre camping-car, nous avons des branchements électriques situés à cÎté de la cabine. Nous facturons 20 $ par branchement.
Diamond A Cattle Company propose des écuries de nuit pour vos chevaux. Vos chevaux peuvent passer la nuit dans notre arÚne extérieure ou dans des enclos plus petits à l'intérieur ou à l'extérieur. Nous facturons 15 $ par cheval par nuit. (20 $ pour un seul cheval).
Nous sommes Ă  seulement 17 miles de la riviĂšre Missouri. Nous pouvons offrir des suggestions pour manger et visiter.

This was such a fun and unique property. Crystal was super helpful and met us when we pulled in to give a quick explanation of the property. We wish we could have stayed longer to explore a bit more, will definitely be back when we come out west!

This little cabin is as authentic as it gets. As retired teachers, we loved having access to the little schoolhouse next door to the cabin. The history provided was very interesting. Crystal offered to show us other areas of the ranch but we were already on the road. The stars at night were phenomenal. Thank you!

Pit-Stop across SD

This was a good spot to stay for night traveling across SD. It’s a tad off the beaten path but not too far. If you’re looking for something unique and rural, this is the spot for you!

Crystal and Tucker were delightful to bs with about their property and the interesting things they had done with their indoor arena and stock throughout the years! The tourist cabin was the perfect size for us (2 adults and a pup). The kitchen is small but still perfect size, and had all the amenities you would need. The bathroom/shower was very clean and good hot water! The bed was comfortable also. Thanks again Crystal for being so helpful and accommodating with questions I had or things we needed!

Cute Cabin

Communication from the host was fantastic. The cabin was warm and welcoming upon arrival. We loved seeing the animals, too. It was fun to check out the old school house right next to the cabin. This is a unique treasure in SD. We would definitely stay again.

I called the office 2 days before hand to let them know we'd be coming in late. That worked well. The host greeted us. We loved the full kitchen and shower. It was a cool small house and very quiet. The school house next to it was neat to see. They also have a camp store which was unexpected. Will stay again for sure.

Adorable farmhouse

We were in SD for a graduation. Traveling with our three dogs. This was the perfect place for us for a weekend stay. Small house but plenty of room for us. Hot shower. Full fridge. Exploring the farm was fun w the dogs and the schoolhouse nextfoor was a fun lite adventure. Thanks for a great stay.

Perfect stopping point

We stopped here for the night on our way out west. What a wonderful little spot. Cabin had everything we needed and bed is super comfortable. Highly recommend this as a great place to stop and get away.

Nice quiet stay on a private ranch

It was a nice little rustic cabin. A great place for our little dog. Our host Crystal was very communicative and the place was nice and quiet. A great place to stay the night when you’re on the road and need to get away from the interstate drive for a while.

Tucker and Crystal Ashley have three daughters: Nikki, Jaime and Carson Ann; two sons-in-law: Jason and Tim, and 11 grandchildren: Brenna, Acacia, Cami, Cedar, Blaze, Sami, Chase, Arrow, Bold, Action and Addison. And now we have two great grandchildren: Great Granddaughter Harlynne Rae and Great Grandson Kallen James.
Rodeo has been a big part of our family's lives. We also participate in Cowboy Mounted Shooting.

Our ranch has been in the Ashley family since 1906. We have the original Homestead Shanty and Outhouse listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. We have a rural schoolhouse on the property. We give free tours of our ranch. Just let us know when you are ready for the adventure.
Our sunset are gorgeous and the night skies are wondrous.

We are only six miles off Interstate 90. Our ranch is peaceful and quiet. Our cat Bob loves to visit with our guests. We have horses that stable at our ranch. Their pen is only a few feet from our campground.
