Perfect in Palermo

Excellent host!! Extremely nice, clean, roomy and comfortable apartment in perfect location across from the Cathedral. Easy accessibility from train station Palazzo Reale-Orleans. Would definitely recommend staying here and would stay there again!! Thank you!!

Spacious Apartment in an Ideal Location

Everything is at your doorstep from this perfectly located apartment. It is well equipped, and modern but situated in a historic building. It is surrounded by pedestrian only streets which add to the charm and fortunately the hosts can arrange for you to arrive and depart easily (which we greatly appreciated). A wonderful way to see and experience Palermo.

A great experience in the heart of the city

The apartment feels like a real home, not a tourist place. A classic Italian apartment with lots of quirky, interesting features. It's right in the middle of everything -- a main street and the big cathedral right outside. Ten-minute walks to the two big markets. A great area to wander around. And Davida is the best host ever.

Amazing - Fantastic! Davide was an amazing host - communication was easy. The apartment is in an excellent location, and is very well maintained and equipped. It felt like we were at home not in a rented apartment. Most things were in a walkable distance or able to get on transport easily. Lots of food options - Davide gave a couple of suggestions- they were outstanding! The Palermo area was beautiful and scenic. Great views from the balcony of the cathedral and surroundings. Would highly recommend and hope to come back again.

Once was not enough

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Centro Storico. The location is ideal, the place itself is charming and comfortable, beautifully decorated and spotless. The kitchen is ideal for cooking in if you can pull yourself away from the delights of Palermo’s food. Our host was very kind and thoughtful, easy to communicate with and very helpful with information as well as accommodating to requests to phone taxis, leave luggage etc. My trip to Sicily began and ended in Palermo, so after touring the island, we returned to Centro Storico for a few nights. It felt like coming home to a place you knew well and we’re highly comfortable in. Highly recommended.

Great location in historic building

We really enjoyed our seven nights stay at the apartment! It is really well located to get to most of the tourist sites, train stations, and the 389 bus line. The apartment is well equipped, and the guest bathroom with the tub is absolutely beautiful! The air conditioner unit in the bedroom worked really well to keep us nice and cool while we slept. As an FYI, you can get some street noise late at night and early in the morning because of the restaurant and shops located below the apartment. This bothered us a bit the first night, but then we started playing white noise on our phone while we slept and never had another issue. It definitely did not detract from my five star rating. :-) I highly recommend renting this apartment if you want to feel like you’re in the middle of everything!

The upstairs bedroom has a stair case, it really needs a hand rail. I would like to mention that it can be noisy late at night because it is located on a busy street.Over all David is the most attentive person and is so knowledgeable about Palermo. My sister and Friend and I would definitely stay there again. Close to all the sites.

Beautiful property, nice decor, right next to the Cathedral. Nice balcony views. It was walkable to everything we wanted to see in the city. There’s a pastry/coffee shop right under the property. This was the first place in Sicily that we’ve stayed that has had a bathtub, so that was nice. Also, maybe because this was the first big city that we had stayed in during our visit, but it was nice to be somewhere where we could drink the tap water, flush the toilet paper, and we had hot water AND A DISHWASHER in the kitchen, so that was nice (none of these were true at the previous two places we had stayed in Erice or Sciacca). The host was friendly and informative, but communication trailed off after checkin, so hopefully everything was reasonably as they expected when we checked out, which was almost a day early due to some flight issues.

Proprietario disponibile e molto cortese. Ubicazione splendida dell'appartamento, in pieno centro storico. Che dire : Ăš stato meraviglioso. Appartamento interamente ristrutturato, e molto gradevole. All'interno sono presenti qualsiasi tipo di elettrodomestici. Fantastico!!!
