Maison en bois rond de trois chambres sur une colline boisée avec vue sur la vallée du Christ. Il y a une vue magnifique sur le mont. Sopris du bain à remous sur le pont arrière. Situé à distance de marche de la ville historique de Redstone et près du château de Redstone.
Belle région pour la randonnée et la découverte de la nature. Pêchez à la mouche sur la rivière Chrystal ou conduisez jusqu'à la rivière Frying Pan.
Profitez du Redstone Inn à proximité avec une excellente cuisine et un bar animé ou
visitez Marble et explorez la vieille ville de carrière.
La ville de Redstone est sur la rivière Crystal et est connue sous le nom de; "Le Rubis des Rocheuses". Cette ville historique est le foyer de The Redstone Inn qui réside sur le registre national des lieux historiques. The pictures are accurate. The house was well stocked, organized and tidy. However it was not real clean. Lots of dust, cobwebs and dog hair. We found a finger nail on the kitchen counter. Signs say to please remove your shoes, however, our feet would turn black from walking on the floor. Our granddaughter who still craws had black knees and toes from crawling on the floor. All 3 beds were super tall and not real easy to get into. Our other granddaughter fell out of the bed and hit her head in the middle of the night. The house does not have AC so the windows were always open. The master never got below 74 degrees. The owner has the sprinkler coming on at 11:40 pm and 4:40 am. So you are woken to the hissing sound of the sprinkler right outside your window. Also the Master has translucent blinds so you are woken with sunlight at 5 am. While the owner never bothered us it was weird knowing he was living in the basement, felt a little odd.

Wonderful it was!

Jack’s Wonderful Log Home exceeded our expectations! The home was very clean and ready! We had everything we needed and I can’t thank Jack enough for allowing us to stay in this beautiful home! It was everything we wanted. This home is in a perfect location which is not too remote but just far enough to make it the perfect stay for just about anyone. We were so appreciative and we hope that anyone who is fortunate enough to visit this beautiful log home appreciates it just as much as we did. As with any property please have respect and strive to leave it as clean and beautiful as you found it.

Beautiful home in an idyllic setting

Jack's house is gorgeous and an oasis in an idyllic setting. The view from the hot tub is second to none and the house is extremely well stocked. We loved the restaurants in nearby redstone especially propaganda pie. Jack does live on the ground floor but was very willing to relocate for the week which we appreciated. Overall a beautiful home for a remote vacation.

Outstanding House and view

My children and their spouses stayed there. They were beyond please with the house and the property. The view was spatular! I highly recommend you book this home if you're going to be in the area.

Family visit

The cabin was beautiful and had everything we needed and more. There are instructions for appliances, music, remotes, etc.. Jack responded very quickly to my questions and was very generous and helpful. We hope to come stay here again!

Redstone trip

Immaculate Home - Great Location

Family winter trip- absolutely beautiful home. The house was immaculately maintained. I was so impressed by all their attention to detail. It was evident they put a lot of time and effort ensuring their guests stay was enjoyable. The kitchen was so well stocked making it so easy to cook our meals. We loved watching the stars in the hot tub and coming in to a nice warm fire. We did fishing, snowshoeing and walks. A perfect family outing and we will definitely be back.

Wedding weekend

There were 6 family members that fit very comfortably in the spacious house. The kitchen was very large and accommodating. The communication with the hosts was great. The location was minutes away from the wedding venue. This house made it easy to enjoy the whole weekend and celebration!

Beautiful Cabin

We loved our stay in Redstone at this cabin. The owners being in the downstairs (they weren’t there much) was not a problem at all. The area was great and the cabin was amazing. We would definitely recommend it.

Adventure get away

Perfect log cabin in a perfect location for adventure in Colorado. White water rafting ,mountain climbing, fly fishing, bike riding, Jack was great as well. Also go to marble, eat at slow groovin BBQ

Mountain getaway

Beautiful home away from bustle and crowds. Near many hiking trails. Less than 20 min from Slow Groovin’ BBQ in Marble and White House Pizza in Carbondale - both fantastic local spots! Home is equipped with everything you’d want and more. Loved coffee on the deck in the morning and watching the many hummingbirds on the back porch!

Peaceful Mountain Retreat

We spent 4 days in Redstone to relax and take in the mountains. The house was a perfect home base as we visited Aspen, Paonia and Carbondale. We cooked quite a bit and enjoyed the deck and fully equipped kitchen. Recommend for a small group looking for some quiet and amazing views.

Idyllic setting

This is our second visit to this lovely cottage which is nestled on a forested lot. We enjoy the tall trees, different birds, views of the mountains from the outdoor hot tub. This log cabin is the perfect retreat, driving distance to Glenwood springs and Aspen yet far enough away for peace and quiet.

Great home, great host, don’t overpack cause they have everything!

After I booked I read host downstairs….NOT A PROBLEM! We were having family get together and I was concerned of bothering them but they were extremely gracious and very considerate. Nested in the mountains and perfect for us! I packed way too much for cooking and comfort…NO NEED…..the best equipped place I’ve ever rented and I’ve rented a bunch! We knew the area and were very pleased!

Wonderful stay!

This cabin had everything you need, felt very at home there. Really nice kitchen, dining, living room space to spread out and enjoy the company of family! Wonderful location for trips to Marble, Redstone, Carbondale and Glenwood.

Mountain Cabin

Excellent location. The house had everything we needed. The outdoor hot tub was a must after a long day hikes. Would recommend to anyone and would definitely book again. Thinking to come back next year.

Great stay in Redstone

Wow. 5 of us had a wonderful time at Jacks property. A lovely home, incredibly well-stocked, beautiful views and comfortable furnishings and beds. We even had a visit from a black bear on the property. Could not recommend this place higher!!! We all wanted to stay longer!

Jack and Jamie Own this home and enjoy sharing it with guests. Jack is a retired firefighter from Hawaii and Jamie a long time Roaring Fork Valley resident.
We maintain an apartment under the house and have 3 dogs, 2 Border Collies and a Scotty. There are not any shared areas with our guests.
