This was our first time visiting San Diego and we had such a nice stay. The place was clean and very comfortable. We really appreciated the proximity to the beach, restaurants, and shops. We tried a couple restaurants recommended by the host and they were great. Can’t wait to return!

We had a wonderful stay! The property is charming, clean, comfortable, and in a fantastic location for enjoying La Jolla Shores. The beach chairs and other beach items provided were a thoughtful convenience and made our time there even more enjoyable.The property manager’s communication was especially outstanding: thorough, proactive, and extremely responsive throughout our stay.One area of opportunity for an upgrade is the mattress, pillows, and sheets. It was decent, however, more luxurious bedding would elevate the experience. It would also be helpful to have a clearly designated and marked parking space for each unit.Overall, we highly recommend this property to anyone visiting La Jolla and the Shores. We enjoyed it so much that we have already booked for next year!

We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend La Jolla Bungalows to others. The photos of the property were accurate and the location was perfect— walking distance to many shops and eateries, and a quick 5 minute walk to the beach. The property was clean and the area in general was quiet and safe. We also loved the outdoor space! It was quaint but very functional. There is a dedicated parking lot right out front, but note it is a bit tricky to navigate if you have a large vehicle. All in all, we had a fabulous stay and we were sad to leave! Thank you for making our time in La Jolla Shores special!

Great location. Feels safe and secure. We feel there were some maintenance issues that should have been repaired. For example, we stayed in June and the toilet paper holder was broken and not working well, and the exit from the patio to the street (the door handle was not working properly, it was loose, the door was not staying closed, etc.). When we returned back in July for another stay, those items were not repaired. As a suggestion, it would be a great benefit if the parking area for guests were paved rather than loose gravel. We love the place but please keep up on the maintenance

The property was clean , the place is pet friendly and dogs have a great place to go on long walks. The bungalow we stayed in was newly renovated and it has all the amenities for a small family.

The bungalow had been remodeled so it looked even better than the original photos. It was cozy, well furnished, kitchen well equipped and front and back patio so enjoyable. Our host Rose was amazing and communicated fast and effectively in a friendly and profess manner. A delightful getaway close to the beach and restaurants.

2nd time staying here, and wonderful again! This small group of bungalows couldn’t be more perfect. The location is ideal for walking to the beach and the surrounding neighborhood. The inside is nicely appointed and clean. And the outside sitting areas are so nice! And we love having the included parking spot and the beach chairs, boogie boards, etc.

We really enjoyed the close walk to the beach, restaurants and coastal trail. The cottage kitchen was well stocked for cooking, the bed was comfortable and the beach chairs, wagon, etc was an added plus.
