great get away mini vacation

Unit was very pleasant beachy deco and choice of indoor and outdoor pools large hot tub close to restaurants and shopping. We really like being right on the beach beautiful views and sun-sets, we would come back.

Garden City Paradise

Absolute pleasure staying at Royal Gardens in Garden City. Can't believe I haven't stayed here before. Room(1024) was as advertised and immaculate. Salty Pickle was a very nice addition. Great place to hang out, watch sports, and meet new friends. Already looking forward to doing it again!!

GREAT GETAWAY WEEKEND

Condo was clean, and comfortable. Having the beds made, and all the basics to get your vacation started was very helpful. (soaps, paper products etc.) Lisa, (property manager) was fantastic. She could not have been easier to work with and quick response time. We enjoyed all the amenities the building has to offer.

Absolutely a beautiful place and Lisa is the best

The condo is beautiful. The view, the decor, the space. The building is well maintained by the HOA. It is very family friendly and quiet at night. I am truly impressed and highly recommend this listing and location. I also cannot say enough good about Lisa and her husband. They were very helpful during my stay. They are true professionals who care about their renters. If you are looking for a beautiful location that is in a prime area of Surfside and Garden City, you will not be disappointed.

Great location on quiet beach

Our family really enjoyed our stay in this property, and really the only reason why I am not giving it 5 stars is due to an elevator being worked on that caused long waits on any trip down to the ground floor pool area and beach, and also the kind of tight parking in the indoor lot. The condo itself was exactly as described, and when the tide is high you are almost over the water. The beach was clean and not super crowded, and the location of the complex was close to a lot of really good food. As soon as the elevator gets fixed in a few weeks, we would definitely stay here again.

Amazing View

The balcony view was best part of this condo! I would recommend staying here if you want an amazing view and don't mind an outdated average condo. The condo itself wasn't anything special. When we arrived, the floors were so dirty that the bottom of our feet were black just from walking around. Outside of 1 roll of toilet paper, you have to provide everything else needed for your stay. The mattresses on all the beds need updated. Upon arrival, we had to make all the beds and strip them again when we left. Overall, the condo was okay.

Wonderful place to stay

My wife, daughter, and I really enjoyed staying at the condo. It looks exactly like the pictures, including the view to the ocean. It is an amazing view, which gets even more amazing when you watch the sunrise. The condo had everything we needed, including coffee filters for the coffee maker. There's a lot a little touches like that that made it nice. I'd like to address the previous review that complained about the bed in the master bedroom. The bed is exceptionally firm, so I have no idea what they're talking about. The location is close to everything in Murrells Inlet, and only 10 to 15 minutes away from Myrtle Beach. I would highly recommend visiting Brookgreen Gardens to walk around. Also if you like BBQ, the Barb-B-Que House in Surfside is the way to go. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay Lisa! We will be back!

Excellent place to stay

We had such an excellent stay. ❀❀❀ We had never been to South Carolina and it definitely mad a great impression. This property was exactly as it was described. I was torn between two locations when choosing a place to stay and thanks to the reviews, I made the best choice! I feel more sorry that the negative reviews had such a bad experience. They must have been more high maintenance than me because this had everything I needed to have a great beach experience! The only thing that would have made it any better would have been a detachable shower head. Lol! The Smaller if the bathroom is small but still useful. This is definitely on my stat list for my next Trip! There are beach supplies, We had games to play. TV’s even though we never turned them on.

Place needs some work

The positives: - Location - The amenities on-site Negatives: - The unit was filthy when we arrived. Crumbs on counters and furniture; feminine hygiene products from a prior group in the bathroom, someone's sandals in the living room, hair on counters, and stained throw pillows, and bedspreads. - The master bathroom toilet does not work. We reported to the property manager and it was not fixed during the week. - The washing machine's dirty water backed up into the master bathroom sink during our stay. Fortunately the property manager had a plumber snake the drain.

Excellent Customer Service & Perfect Location!

We absolutely loved our stay. Working with Lisa was a breeze and pleasant. The place was clean, had water/beach needs like chairs, umbrella and stuff to play in the sand. Having the full kitchen was great so we could cook at “home” and have more time at the beach. We enjoyed having a working tv in each bedroom for the kids when they were tired or wanted to be alone. We don’t travel often we found out certain needs on our own as they came up: toilet paper, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, coffee and beach towels. Other than those items we found everything was provided including extra batteries for the tv remotes. The part of the beach we were on was very clean and the property as a whole was well taken care of. Down to the right was a little dirtier. We highly recommend visiting Sam’s Corner while there. It was by far our favorite place to eat as well as the ice cream shopYum Yum’s, next to the arcade. Thank you Lisa for an excellent place to stay and wonderful customer service!

Beautiful View

Here are a few comments from our stay! The view was absolutely stunning. The beach is busy but beautiful turquoise waters. It's a great place for the cost. Pros about the Property: View amazing Great location to sites Well stocked kitchen Mattresses comfortable Safe patrolled Nice flat beach Includes 2 beach chairs, umbrella, beach toys Stocked with towels, paper towels, Trash bags. Dishwasher pods, no laundry detergent. Great for a small family Nice big hot tub by pool Cons for this property: Have to put on our own sheets The unit needs a thorough cleaning! Floors made our feet black. Bathrooms not as clean as needed. Food under table. Elevators were so slow. During check out it took us 20 min to get an elevator

Disgusting- Do Not Stay!! Mold and Unsanitary

If I could rate this place a zero I would. Upon arrival, I contacted the property manager because the unit was not clean and there were several issues with the unit including mold. Instead of starting our vacation, we spent several hours cleaning the unit ourselves. We had to vacuum the house, wipe down surfaces, wash mattress covers/comforters and wash all the bathroom rugs. Below is what we found: -Floors not vacuumed, sand everywhere -There was fecal matter under the small kitchen table -There was toothpaste spit on the rug in the bathroom (rugs were not cleaned) -Mold on the vents -Mattress covers were stained -Pillows were stained -Comforters look like they had not been washed and covered in sand -Ceiling tiles falling out of the ceiling in both bathrooms -Tub floors stained -Grease dripping down the wall in the twin bed room -Internet not working Property manager tried to blame us for the poor maintenance and cleanliness of the condo. Would not give cleaning refund when requested. Property manager not responsive, only maintenance man showed up after several phone calls and complaints. Do NOT RENT FROM HERE, photos are not what the unit looks like in person and Management is poor.
