Perfect getaway

Super clean and well maintained property— loved all the flowers! The screened porch is heavenly and the fishing on the lake is great— a small rowboat and a kayak make the whole lake accessible. Linda is a great host.

Perfect

This is our third summer spending a week at this property and they have all been outstanding. We love the huge screened-in porch and the very comfortable beds in particular. The fishing is great from the provided rowboat or kayak.

Linda has a very private piece of heaven that allowed me to pursue my writing and visit with my 3 year old granddaughter. Nice small lake.

Needed Relaxation

This is the Perfect spot to relax. We enjoyed the beautiful lake and cottage and had fun exploring the area and shopping In Nisswa. Linda is an exceptional host - always making us feel at home and making sure we had everything we needed.

Bliss and Beauty

So much beauty--a charming cottage in a quiet setting with opportunities to enjoy wooded walks, loon calls, sunsets, peaceful gardens, comfy beds and linens. The host was friendly and gracious. She has thoughtfully prepared an environment to support comfort and interests. My stay felt like a little slice of heaven!

Beautiful Setting disturbed only by the call of Loons at dusk.

This was a lovely spot, and we enjoyed our stay in the peaceful surroundings. The flowers and beautiful and the home is perfect - a little bit of Disney perfection in northern Minnesota. It was great to be away from the sounds of the city and enjoy hearing the birds and enjoying the beautiful view of the lake. We finally had breakfast at Valerie Ann's and loved it! I can't wait until nextyear!

This is a picture perfect home and location. Private and quiet and beautiful !

The home is exactly as pictured - adorable! Bath and kitchen are well equipped . A private oasis with more “ resorty” activities nearby if you are so inclined. The loons are kind of noisy at night 😆but the sunsets are lovely. I did not want to leave💕

Beautiful, clean property on a small lake. Fishing wasgood from provided row boat or kayak. Screened-in porch was heavenly. Great area with lots of delicious restaurants nearby. We’d definitely stay again.

Perfect cabin on a very quiet lake

We love everything about this cabin, but we especially appreciate the screened porch and the beautiful flowers that abound. This is a very restful, beautifully appointed place to stay.

This was the perfect place to unwind. The screened in porch and small lake was awesome. Fun shopping in Nisswa and beautiful sunsets. We had a great time!

Lovely, calm getaway.

When we were sitting on the end of the dock, two loons popped up, just a few feet away. This is not a ritzy place, but is a clean, comfortable cabin, just what we wanted.

Best vacation ever!

Linda's cabin provides everything a person needs for total relaxation. The location on the lake is quiet and green -- with loon calls for background--and the cabin is so tastefully outfitted that every place we sat was comfortable and comforting. There are ceiling fans in every room and the screened porch is a delight.

Perfect Relaxing Getaway

My husband and I were blessed to stay at Pine Haven Retreat while our two kids were at camp in Pillager. We could not have asked for a more ideal place to reconnect and get a little work done. The cabin was well appointed, the location was peaceful, and the lakeview was absolutely stunning.

Relaxing Week At the Lake

We were looking for a good place to “social distance”. We found the cabin to be as advertised and Linda was easy to work with. Lake was warm and inviting and family enjoyed the kayak.

A little piece of heaven

Great location! Check in/check out process easy! We all are essential workers so we needed this get away. We were greeted with complimentary ice cream and coffee. I especially loved the tiled walk in shower!

Relaxing Getaway

My husband & I rented this cabin with the intent of getting some quiet relaxation for a few days. This cabin was just as represented. It is situated on a small lake & we had access to it from the dock. There was a rowboat, kayak & life vests avail for our use. There was a nice looking fire pit that we didn’t get around to using but was well furnished. The screened in porch was our highlight. We spent time out there reading, visiting & listening to the birds, loons & wildlife without the bother of bugs & mosquitoes. The cabin is beautifully remodeled & furnished with everything we needed for our stay. We cooked several meals while there & never lacked for a utensil, plate or pan. LOVED the collection of cookbooks & other reading material as well as a wide variety of DVD’s for our use. Our host Linda was very accommodating. She left maps for us so we could find an fun swimming beach less than a mile from the cabin, several small towns in the area for unique shopping, antiquing & dining. She even gave us some recommendations for renting bicycles & places to ride & walk. It was a wonderful trip & one we will remember.
