We loved the cute house and the animals. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The pool was also very relaxing. We would definitely recommend this place as a getaway.

We had a relaxing, wonderful time amongst the beautifully landscaped yard outside our doorstep of the cozy and comfortable cottage. Emily and her family were wonderful hosts and thought of everything..down to fresh eggs in the fridge! The animals were fun to watch and the Longhorns majestic and magical! We had a fire in the fire pit and relaxed amongst the star one evening. We explored the area and found a great place to get a burger in Bainbridge-Gigi’s. We will be back…wondering what it will look like in the fall with the foliage! Thank you for a restful stay—it was good to rejuvenate!

Emily and her family were most welcoming and accommodating. Their guest house is so cozy and you have complete privacy. Plus the view is spectacular! Absolutely everything you'll need, including fresh eggs from their farm, was readily available. You can see that Emily was very attentive to every detail when decorating the house. She'll even leave you seeds and crackers so you can feed their animals, which are very tame and love the attention.I would recommend Sunny Ridge Farm to anyone wanting a quiet, relaxing stay at a welcoming and beautiful family farm in Lancaster County.

The perfect weekend getaway for a city dweller such as myself. Beautiful, remote, clean, and within driving distance to a lot of cool towns. My 8 year old son and I agreed, the best part of our stay was the farm animals and Emily’s generosity and kindness. We will be returning for sure!

We had an absolutely lovely time relaxing on these gorgeous grounds and spending time with all the friendly animals. Emily was incredibly responsive and kind. We came here for peace and relaxation while still being close to amazing restaurants and other activities. If you enjoy antiquing, wow— there was so much to see. We cannot wait to return. The suite was roomy, welcoming and so charming. All appliances worked great, and the fireplace was a super extra. There were clear instructions on the use of all appliances.Hosts were most welcoming, even letting me park right where they probably like to park themselves. The animals on the farm were a delight, as was strolling the beautiful grounds.It was incredibly peaceful and beautiful.
