Charme est un euphémisme quand on décrit cette maison de lac remodelée et parfaitement située sur 3 acres de terrain plat. La maison d'origine a été entièrement rénovée et une addition contemporaine a été complétée cette année. La maison se prête à la famille élargie et aux amis car il y a 3 chambres plus une tanière, chacune avec sa propre salle de bain privée. La cuisine du chef est équipée d'appareils Thermador haut de gamme et de comptoirs en marbre du Vermont. Il y a une grande table de ferme dans la salle à manger pouvant accueillir 8 personnes. Ma pièce préférée dans la maison est la véranda. Il y a une grande table à manger et une balançoire surdimensionnée pour lire un livre et une tasse de café le matin ou un verre de vin le soir tout en admirant la vue ouest sur le lac et les magnifiques Adirondacks. Il y a aussi une grande terrasse extérieure pour recevoir avec de beaux meubles en teck. La maison est câblée avec un système audio Sonos et le wifi et dispose de deux Apple TV. Nous sommes tombés amoureux de la ville de Vergennes, située à 10 minutes en voiture. Il existe de nombreux restaurants délicieux à choisir ainsi que des magasins spécialisés dans les produits du Vermont. La ville universitaire de Middlebury est à 20 minutes en voiture et Burlington à 45 minutes. Le Basin Harbour Club se trouve à 11 km de Lake Drive, ou à un court trajet en bateau du quai ou de l’amarrage en eau profonde. La piste cyclable Champlain Bikeway se trouve juste devant la porte, qui propose des pistes cyclables sur route et sur gravier de classe mondiale. Vous pourrez également faire de belles randonnées à Snake Mountain Trail Head, à 10 minutes de route de la maison.
Les activités nautiques sont facilement accessibles par le biais des escaliers menant au lac où nous disposons d’un quai, d’un ascenseur à bateaux et d’un mouillage en eau profonde. Il y a une douche extérieure pour se rincer après une journée active.
Il y a un foyer au bord du lac pour les cocktails en soirée et regarder le coucher de soleil sur le lac et les Adirondacks.

Absolutely Stunning Property

Our stay in Panton was truly remarkable. An incredible, immaculate, beautifully renovated farmhouse directly on Lake Champlain, with a dock, a wide open field and and a great fire pit to watch the nightly sunsets. The house was pristine, with comfortable bedding, sumptuous furnishings and all the amenities you could ever want. We cooked dinner on the gas grill, chilled our beverages in the wine fridge and listened to music on the speaker system each night. Mornings were spent sipping coffee on the screened in porch and listening to the loons on the lake, with long walks in nearby trails in the afternoon. The location was easily accessible and our check in was effortless. Amanda, our host, was always readily available for any questions we had about the house and nearby locale, and we can’t wait to visit this unique, incredibly beautiful home again soon. Truly one of the best experiences we have ever had on VRBO. Thank you so much Amanda! EP

Heavenly stay in Vermont

A beautiful home with open, expansive views of Lake Champlain and the Adirondacks beyond. The house has a true cook's kitchen, the furnishings are comfortable and there are plenty of places for all the family to relax and look out at the lake or nearby meadows. We ran on dirt roads, kayaked in the lake and hiked trails just a few miles away. My son was doing online schooling and Wifi was awesome! The owner, Amanda is an excellent host- providing us with all the information we needed to enjoy our stay.

Amazing Property

We had a great stay at the Vermont Gravel House! The yard is huge and we were able to play outside with our 3 year old as well as enjoy the screened in porch in the evenings. The view is to die for and the private dock is perfect for swimming - we were able to swim a good area while not being too deep! The house itself is impeccable- it was like living in luxury for a week! We were a group of 7 adults and 1 3 year old and we never felt on top of each other. There is more than enough space!

Unimaginably perfect!

Nothing was spared in the designing and furnishing of this beautiful home in an ideal location. Absolutely gorgeous and comfortable. Lots of different places to be alone or convene inside and out. The lake and mountain view and sunsets were heavenly. Amanda was so helpful and gracious. We will be back!!

We have stayed many beautiful places but this house gets the award for interior design and gorgeous furnishings! My favorite part was all the glistening water views of Lake Champlain throughout the house. It’s perfectly peaceful here with unforgettable sunsets. Fantastic house and location

I hesitated to write a review of this property because it is so wonderful and I am afraid that it won't be available when I want to go back. This house is gorgeous - beautifully restored and furnished. There is everything you could want and more. The house has comfortable beds and large bedrooms. The kitchen is beautifully equipped and very easy to work in. Seating is located in multiple areas indoors, on the screened porch, on the deck, on the lawn and on the dock. The location is so pretty right on Lake Champlain with fantastic views of the lake and across to the mountains in New York. The check in process is very easy and any questions are answered immediately. Enjoy a wonderful stay. We can't wait to go back.

Top Notch Lake House

This is an amazingly beautiful property on the lake in the Vergennes area of the Champlain Valley. Immaculately decorated yet very comfortable. Wonderful access to the lake and only 50 min from Burlington. A peaceful get-away yet with access to hiking, biking, skiing, lake activities and within reasonable distance to Middlebury/Burlington for more action. Vergennes is a lovely place to dine & shop as well. The manager is very considerate as well. Beautiful sunsets to top it all off!
